Just saying c!Punz is the type of person that
if c!Dream sleeps on floor instead of a mattress because its too soft then c!Punz would sleep on the floor with him instead of trying to make him sleep on a bed
hey we haven't had a group project in a while! so how about this: what does c!dream do in the new world (assuming he only gets feelings and vague memories of what happened, nothing concrete, no faces or names)?
i think he will finally have a lot of animals again - cats, foxes, dogs, whatever he can find <3
He finds a cat, and he gets a vague sense of love and being lonely. He doesnāt know why but heās also so scared. He wants to bring it home, but his body wonāt let himāhe canāt even tame it.
So he has to leave the cat there, and he doesnāt know why. (He finds a dog, later, too. And he looks at it, and wonders why thereās a flash of sadness and of grief. Why is he sad? There is no reason to be.)
His new friends: Tommy made an ugly dirt house day ago and apparently also tuck Tubbo into it (the young boy said he will live here only till he collect enough stuffs to make a whole mansion!)
apparently! they also want Dream to join their dirt party. And who he is to refuse that ? (He couldn't. Dream doesn't know why, but his heart constrieted everytime he thinks of letting his friends go. Almost as if he made a big mistake before and the consequences of it haunt him for the rest of this lifetime. But Dream can't remember).
yet, They had a dirt house on a hill. Covered in muds, sunflowers, and bee. The other two is always loud. But when all three of them watched the sunrise together. Tubbo and Tommy would be more quiet, he knows they admire this moment. Watch the sun get up and down like a life circle.
And its also his favorite moment. Watching the early light touches the leaves, kiss the lake, singing tunes of a nostalgia that he can't understand (nor remember).
And Dream can't remember a lot of thing but he might remember hope. The hope of looking at the day, and the boys, and moon and sun and grass, Hope in peace, in such simple days.
(And Part of him tried to not let the heavyweight of "missing" clenching over his heart. Missing of someone who he doesn't remember, missing of some touch and words that he couldn't spell)
C!Dream is so dumb and thats what make me love him. Turning out his character is sadder than I can expect.
How long had he been going and going with no one to stop him. No one to ask if everything is fine, to ask through his mask.
The prison stops him physically, but it pushes him further and further, and yet, there is still no one ask him, and see him.
/rp dsmp
The wind howling like hungry wolves, sharp air cuts through his skin. And Dream runs.
He doesn't quite recognize the panic that is swating his heart, his eyes dazzling with the scene, trying to find a familiar shade of white figure in the middle of snow, snow and ice. It would be fine! Dream tried to remind himself, hands grips tightly on his axe, and shield. No armours.
But this is nothing close to fine. His legs tremble, his finger running pale, bones ache scream to take a break and the Adrenalin yells back: No, no, not yet. He can't help but feeling irony how this place (the spot he even chooses it himself) now give him the scene of a prey sitting on white plate, waiting for the knife and fork to cut through its neck.
Another wave of panic washes through his nerve. There is blood on his tongue, but Dream can't taste anything than Icy and just the numb icy alone. The escaped prisoner order his legs to move, to run, to find Punz.
But what if Punz also abandoned him ? Dream can't help but ask. What if the power gets into his head like how it did to Awesam ? What if Punz decided the revival book is good for themselves only ? What if Punz knows about the torture and left it be ? What if Punz come and take down the final villain of the DSMP, once again being the hero ?What if their betrayal scene becomes nothing but a true statement ? What if ? What if ?
He can't help but being paranoid, and he can't stop (thinking, running). Someone would be here and drag his legs back to the Heart of Pandora. In that moment, dazzling with nothing but snowflakes hugging his skeletal body, Dream realizes he missed the warm of his cell, lava, and obsidian, and its simple, its nothing like the overwhelming white and cold and loud winds surrounding.
There is nothing in Pandora for him, (Just that there is nothing outside left for Dream either). But it can't be, right ? Dream and Punz shares life, Punz promised him, they would go through everything together. (But it wasn't true, was it ? Dream was in the Prison alone, Dream was tortured, alone ? And it's not Punz's fault, but his fragile mind couldn't stop the bitter thinking)
The wind howling, and Dream snaps himself back, letting out a sharp breath that wasn't any warmer than the cold air. His grips tighter on the shield, They promised. And Dream is not unfamiliar with gamble, just another game another day, like hundred days under Quackity's axe. They promised. Dream remind his heart, and he lets himself hope once more, bet, once more.
āI canāt promise to solve all your problems but I can promise that you wonāt have to face them alone.ā

Thats c!Drunz...
c!clingyduo and c!stagedduo: killing your best friend
/dsmp rp
These duos are close, close friends. These duos would and have killed and died for each other. Punz and Tubbo kept Dream and Tommy alive. And they also killed them. They're parallel, and they're unbearably tragic.
After prison, Punz tells Dream, we can fix this. We can bring the server back to normal. Dream admits the torture to him. Punz responds, letās go after Quackity. Heāll pay. Iāll help. You stay here, stay safe, and I will kick things off. No matter what, I'll be at your side.
Tubbo tells Tommy, you need to kill Dream? This doesn't seem healthy. But I'll come with you. I'll help you. No matter what, I'll be at your side.
Punz tells Dream, let this comfort you: we can still win.
But here is the thing: WINNING MEANS DREAM'S DEATH. The Plan has always, always meant Dream's destruction, in every conceivable sense. The Plan means a moral death, doing horrific things for a far-off goal. The Plan means literal death, with the reveal that both Dream and Punz have killed themselves and killed each other over and over in its service. The Plan means a symbolic death: Dream is swallowed up by Pandora, never to reemerge, and Punz signed off on that violence. And the Plan means a narrative death: it was always impossible for Dream to win without completely losing himself.
And just as explicitly, for Tommy and Tubbo, WINNING MEANS TOMMY'S DEATH. Tommy goes to Tubbo with a plan of his own, one he's been obsessing over for months and months: let's kill Dream. But even before nukes are involved, it's obvious to anyone with eyes how self-destructive this plan is. Tubbo points out over and over how unhealthy this obsession is! Killing Dream means Tommy dying too: a moral death, killing someone in their own home who hasn't done a thing to provoke you in a year. A symbolic death, because Tommy is wholly unable to move on while he is still so preoccupied with Dream. And a literal death, when Tommy becomes the lure to be targeted by Tubbo's nuke, and Tubbo signed off on that violence.
Thereās a REASON Tommy was alone when he faced Dream in the final stream. There's a reason that Tubbo was with him when he made his disastrous decision to kill Dream, and Tommy was only able to hold out his hand to Dream when Tubbo wasn't there, and when he'd told Punz to shut up and let Dream talk.
Dream wasn't the only one who stepped off the ledge at the eleventh hour: Tommy stepped off too! Tommy and Dream were both in the act of self-annihilation, and both of their best friends had signed on to the whole thing!!
Tubbo was Tommy's death, and Punz was Dream's. That doesn't make their loyalty, their love, their dedication, less true: but it does make it so, so, so damn tragic.
Tommy and Dream had their friends telling them yes, when what they needed was for their enemies to tell them no.
To come off the ledge, to let go, Tommy needed to see Dream: he needed to understand the terrible lie that Dream had been telling him and understand that the violence could end. To come off the ledge, to let go, Dream needed to be seen by Tommy: he needed to understand the truth of the hurt he's caused and the hurt he's felt and understand that what he wanted was actually something so unbearably simple.
idk how to tell y'all this but "abuse victims were triggered by this finale" is not an assessment on the quality of the writing, on whether the story was fumbled or not, on what the story was actually saying, on anything really. "people were triggered" is not a moral judgement or a quality assessment. abuse victims, seemingly including one of the writers of the fucking story who was the one playing the character who was being humanized and understood and having his pain acknowledged, were also empowered. that doesn't say anything about story quality or messaging or morality or whatever either.
as it turns out, people can be triggered by everything under the sun. characters' treatment of c!dream was incredibly triggering for me (and multiple other people) at points but you're still sitting there claiming that clearly it was bad that the story ended with him having his pain acknowledge and understood. sorry you were triggered, but maybe this story just wasn't for you. that's fine, nothing is ever for everyone.

Till the end, c!Punz was still the one who stays for c!Dream. From the start to every war and then until the very very last moment.
Maybe that relationship was built-up on money, and how unstable c!Dream was (so so lonely). The loyalty is undoubtable though. They exchange their life for each other, the experiment (that sent them both to limbo)(how many trust you must have to put your life on someone else's hand, knowning they have full power to control you will live or not)
There weren't just loyalty and blind trust, there is emotions, they are allies, they are friends. (The way c!Punz just so mad over C!Dream's torture, the way c!Punz couldn't let c!Dream stucks in limbo any longer and rush into revive him)
And in the end c!Dream can't even admit "he is my friend", it comes from Punz, and Dream hesitate.
But. Was it blame on Dream at all ? Like, sure ? All of your friends left, they have better friends without you now, they even laughed at you and mostly have a death bounty aimed in your heart.
And you stands with your last final, friend. The one you know, has the server on their side, the one you know, has the same power as you (the one you gave them), the one you know, is the last and only you got.
He can't be sure anymore, betrayal did a ton to people, and he is not a stranger to that. They were right, thats a relationship on power and on benefit, as long as i'm alive, you are immortal. They exchange their life. But how many of it comes from pure friendship, from caring, from loyalty and how many of it comes from power, and a promise of immortal.
He doubts it, and it might not be the first time he even doubt it. Because he was too scared of losing more, he was too scared of "being alone". That's not fair. He couldn't find a friendship after all of this, look at them and didn't think "they might also left me too".
And it's not fair, because at the end, someone truly look at him, and said, i understand you. And in that moment he allowed himself to hope, and be greedy.(is it not too late?)
But Hope must die in Pandora.
C!Dream escaped the prison and he is pretty much not the same.

okay. this is going to be a controversial post. please remain respectful in the comments and reblogs.
the question for today is: is c!dream a cat or a dog person?
I have my thread about how he would be a perfect cat figure.
They can commit all the crimes if they want š„°
Why the majority of dsmp should see c!dream as a cat:
Cat hisses, cat scratches
Cat is possessive with property that's not even their
Cat is quiet, then be loud. Just as c!dream being non-verbal sometimes and loud sometimes
Cat is the most manipulative animal. They trick you into loving them, they get into your house and act like a boss
Cat core: how could you be homeless if the world is your home
Cat steals your shit and hide them..
Cat sneezes like an idiot. /j
C!dream is literally a cat
Everything above fits the headcanon c!dream of the Dsmp fandom.
considering im still going with the working theory that cdream has no intention of surviving past his master plan (what with the general lack of self-preservation in prison arc) i dont know how he could have any healthy relationships. its not like he plans on living much longer. or plans on anyone mourning him.
the day dreblr stopped giving a fuck was the best day ever because now whenever someone says dumb shit or attacks us we throw a party and create the best aus out of spite, dreblr I'm obsessed with you please never change
someone put this back in my notes and I'd love to ask the fuckers breathing down our necks if it was also the day they started shitting and crying
Theory: Does c!Punz have the revival book himself ?
In the lore video we did see c!Dream show c!Punz's book. But did him actually memorize it like c!Dream ?
In case, If he did:
In the Final Disc War, c!Punz's role is more than just a spy, he is the decisive overriding factor, the trump card
People won't be able to value c!Dream's life over the revival ability is a true fact, but if in case anything goes wrong that take away his final life, c!Punz is here to save the game.
C!Dream can not die, because c!Punz has the revival, that's why they believe in the plans, that might be why they have the nerves to send c!Dream to sacrifice his own life even if its just staged.
Then why didn't c!Dream give up in the torture and call for his allies's help ?
As far as we know, one of the staged finale's goals is to make everyone on the server believe that c!Punz is not an ally.
If c!Dream gave up in suicidal, the reasult will be the potential that c!Punz will act on himself and therefore, reveal himself
C!Punz reveals himself means: There is another owner of the revival book and not just c!Dream. C!Dream has allies.
The first is more dangerous than the last.
So as "easy" as it can be to give up on the agony and gore, c!Dream can't. The perfect aim on his head must be repainted over and over again so people won't give up on the idea that there is only one powerful and strong revival book exist, who is too selfish and "power thirsty" to share.
The questions is how much did c!Dream trust c!Punz to acknowledge it, or how much he value the book for it to be a secret.
Since i'd argue about how people say c!Dream doesn't trust c!Punz enough. Things hard to explain is things hard to explain. (But it doesnt mean its a healthy relationship either)
So in this essay I will talk about c!Stageduo potential angstā
Why do you think Dream deserves redemption /gen, Iāve seen a few people think this and I legitimately donāt understand, I mean thereās even proof that without him being around the others, stuff doesnāt get blown up/ a war happens (the conversation with Foolish) so clearly thereās correlation?
/dsmp rp
Bad question.
Iāve talked so many times about how much I hate the term redemption. Redemption is not something to be ādeservedā, kill that idea with fire. You do not āearnā redemption, you must not be this tall to ride the roller coaster, there is something very very wrong when you are talking about whether people are ādeservingā to get better or not. This is puritanical. This supposes that some people are intrinsically more valuable than others; this implies that people are intrinsically tarred forever by their sins. Bad. No. Quit that.
But even setting all that aside for a moment, letās examine the second part of this ask, because it is RIDICULOUS to claim that Dreamās internment led to peace? Tell me, have you watched ANY s3 content? The Egg, Quackityās quest to conscript and blackmail people into LN, Wilbur and Quackityās conflict, to name just a few? Stuff doesnāt get blown up? I guess you donāt give a shit about Purpled? Re Foolish SPECIFICALLY, my man literally got sacrificed and died!! While Dream was imprisoned! If you really think that the server was at peace with Dream locked away, I donāt know what to say to you.
