I can't help but feel that Franz has developed a crush on Edmund. He has been singularly obsessed with Edmund ever since they met on Monte Cristo. If he keeps describing how mysterious Edmund is and how fascinated he is by him, I might feel inclined to ship them.

I will never understand the impulse of some fans to make excuses for men-children and their treatment of women or anyone they consider beneath their status.

Another new year, but not a new me. I stopped doing that years ago. Now it feels like everything (and everyone) else is changing, moving forward, growing, while I remain the same, as if I’m stuck in a time loop, living the same day again and again, year after year.

So I just read the part where Dorian kills Basil, and I can’t help but wonder what would Lord Henry’s reaction be if or when he found out?

It is not easy to be kind in a world that seems to repay kindness with cruelty. In fact, it’s far easier to be cynical and uncaring. The people who show empathy and kindness are not weak or spineless, they are the ones with a spine of steel, for going against the tide and choosing to care when most of the world doesn’t.

Season 2 feels a lot less interesting compared to Season 1.

Stacy saying Mark isn’t really recovering from rage or whatever he's in therapy for or complaining about fights or lack of intimacy.

Honestly, is that surprising that Mark couldn't control his temper? His wife is working with her ex, who’s openly trying to break them up. She’s kind of emotionally cheating, and would’ve crossed that line physically too if not for that phone call. Mark doesn't seem to be the problem here.

I feel if Stacy truly cared about her marriage, she should’ve known better than to take this job, especially knowing how House is, and how vulnerable Mark was after the surgery. I’m not excusing House; he’s equally responsible for this mess. But he’s not the one cheating on his vulnerable spouse.

And I've never liked House as a person. Yes, I respect him as a doctor. But as a person? No. So no disappointment there.

But Stacy? She should’ve maintained boundaries, kept things strictly professional, and definitely never let House inside her home.

First, she overrules her partner’s decision about his treatment, forcing him into a risky surgery that leaves them both emotionally and physically scarred. Then she acts like she’s the victim. Mark before surgery said, “you left him because he was crippled, and you’ll leave me too”. Stacy's action is proving his words right.

Stacy claims her feelings for House are like an addiction to vindaloo curry. I’ve never had vindaloo, but Google says it’s spicy. And you don’t eat spicy food when you already have a history of indigestion, unless you want your problems to worsen. An addiction is an addiction, and the best way to deal with it is to stay away from what tempts you.

All these makes you think, how much of what House said in that group therapy session was to provoke Mark, and how much was his own truth about how he felt after the surgery? Maybe we’ll never know. But one thing’s clear. Stacy isn’t making Mark’s recovery process any easier.

And maybe, it was the same for House too.

Stacy claims she loves Mark and she also still loves House. But it feels the only person she seems to love is herself.

Chase pointing out how Foreman was much more confident when House was around and Foreman actually agreeing, saying it’s different.

Of course it’s different. When House is in charge, he’s the one who takes the fall. Foreman could afford to make mistakes.

That’s what makes me respect House, in spite of all his flaws. He never cared about the consequences to himself, only about doing everything possible to save his patients.

Dude, he doesn’t even take Cuddy seriously. Vogler didn’t get any respect either.

What made you think you'd be any different?

Not Foreman getting surprised at the idea of being held accountable for screw-ups while he’s in charge.

House was so much more interesting when Stacy wasn't in the picture.

He has zero chemistry with her.

While his banter with Cuddy was so funny, engaging and kind of steaming.

I want to watch more of that, not House being weird about a married woman who left him.

And what is he even trying to achieve here?

Does he want her back?

Or is he just trying to get revenge by wrecking her marriage?

Wilson’s reactions are exactly how i feel. Confused and a little grossed out.

Is stacy here for the entire season? I hope not 😭

House won’t admit it, but he’s actually a really good teacher. Those students probably learned more in that one lecture than they did all year. No wonder they were so miffed when he said he wasn’t doing it again. Who’d want to go back to boring lectures after that?

Does Wilson even have patients of his own?? He’s always just hanging out with House.

First Foreman, now Wilson, saying House couldn’t give up his ego just to give one lousy speech. But they are ignoring it wasn't just a “lousy speech”.

House was being asked to endorse an expensive pill whose efficacy he didn’t even believe in. And this isn’t just anyone. This is House. A doctor so skilled and reputed that a federal court once ordered him to treat one of their high-profile witness. He may not be well liked, but he is definitely valued for his medical abilities. That’s exactly why Vogler wanted him up there in the first place, to exploit his reputation for personal gain.

If House had given the 'simple speech', he would’ve betrayed the very people who trusted him as an honest, competent doctor.

I'm not buying the propaganda that he was wrong or that he put his ego before everyone else. It was never about ego. it was about principles.

House was doing what every doctor should do: putting their ethics first.

Among all these highly skilled doctors, why was Cameron the only one who understood that?

I hope her resignation is not permanent and she comes back.

When house diagnoses a disease as something, he might be wrong. But when house says it’s not something? It’s not that disease. Simple. His team has worked with him long enough to recognize the pattern. But instead, they ignored him. Assumed he was wrong because of the withdrawal from pain meds. But now it really raises the question: whose judgment was more impaired by the meds? House’s? Or everyone else’s?

The best thing about house is how characters redeem themselves within the same episode. It was so wholesome when Foreman let go of his personal bias and showed empathy to Victoria. Pretending to be her husband at her deathbed, and forgiving her for the accident, might be the best “treatment” you could ever give a dying patient.
