he's treated like he's incompetent when he isn't. everyone looks past his passion and sees a fool because he would rather everyone laugh at him than have everyone be afraid of him. he acts outgoing when he'd rather spend his time alone. he's terrified of the treatment he will get from others, yet he still will go out of his way to help them. yes, he's silly and goofy and can make you laugh. but underneath all that he's an oni who feels he doesn't have a place in the world and he hides that in so many ways.

he has never once gave up after being knocked down. he lost his vision but never lost his ambition. he tried three hundred times to get us a rare collectible card. he has tried so hard to get people to stop seeing oni as bad, and even gets upset when people are mean to granny oni because of him. itto is so kind and caring, and has a big heart, and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need (yknow, if he wore one) and the thanks he gets is being treated as if he's an idiot and stupid. when he is so much more than that.

itto is resilient. itto is still kind after all the mistreatment he gets as an oni. and itto never stops fighting for what he believes in.

he deserves so much better.
