I am my lover. I am the one that tends my garden. I am the one I will always say goodnight to last.

âȘWe loved at different wave lengths and kept missing one anotherâŹ
Everything is wrong (via intoxicatingconversating)
oh, darling i know you tried you tried so hard you gave it your all and that counts for something hell, it counts for everything and hereâs the thing: i know you got hurt i know youâre hurting now but you will survive you may be going through hell but i know youâll make it out with wings so strong that the only option will be to soar upwards so keep flying, angel
for an anon, you know who you are ⥠and for anyone else who may have needed this. (cc, 2017)
It doesnât hurt so much anymore, but I wonder if you ever have nights like I do. I wonder if there are ever times when heâs whispering he loves you through the phone but youâre choking too hard on all your broken promises to me to say it back. I wonder if it hurts when you hear her name and mine together, I wonder if it ever makes you cry. And when you do, how do you make yourself stop? I wonder if there are times you wish I would hold you one more time, like when you used to be warm and safe underneath my covers. I wonder if the absence of me feels like the elephant in every room you pass through. I wonder if you ever wonder what life couldâve been like if you had stayed. I wonder if you regret it.

I think thatâs what happens when youâve lived a lonely childhood. You get too attached to people as you get older, in the hope that theyâll give you the care and love that you missed out on and never leave you.

Maybe thereâs a chance weâll meet up again. If not in this life, then in another when the stars align for us. I really miss us. At least the happy us. As a matter of fact, I would even settle for the unhappy us, just as long as youâre with me. It hurt when you left you know? As if I was an anchor pulling you deeper and deeper into the ocean, only to see you come up for air with her kisses. Maybe we werenât good for eachother, but hell, it was good while it lasted. Just, just call me back, okay?

So is this how it's gonna be like for the rest of my life?
Is there always gonna be an emptiness in my chest? When I'm in bed with other people will your touch always be in the back of my mind? Do you think I'll always miss you when I've had too much to drink? Or whenever I'm about to fall asleep? Will your eyes from across the room always make me feel weak in the knees? Do you think I'll ever be okay again? And if not, do you care?
It was ordinary and it was extraordinary and it was happiness and it was sadness. It was everything. That what makes it so difficult to forget.

MY FRIEND pictures it this way: leaving is inevitable itâs the natural state of human relationships we donât get to choose who we meet, the same way, we donât get to choose who stays in our lives people come and go just to leave small trails behind. MY MOM pictures it this way: leaving is part of growing part of unlinking ourselves from things itâs part of being a child, a teen, an adult itâs beginning new phases and realizing whoâll be there for a longer time and youâll be thinking, in the future, âIâm glad theyâre with me right now.â MY AUNT pictures it this way: leaving is something metaphorical because the memories you create with someone will be part of them for their lifetime no matter how good they might be no matter how bad they might be a laugh, anger, shock, tears is something youâll never be able to deprive someone of. I picture it this way: leaving is a reality is something weâll eventually face and go through but if you truly love someone, no matter what it may cost you, no matter what the difficulties might be, you can always find a way to be there for them.
because I really wish certain people were by my side today. (m.d, 22.1.2017)
I see bits of you in other peopleâs smiles I see the crinkles by your eyes. I hear your voice in other peopleâs conversations, it sounds like youâre saying my name so I always have to turn and look. I feel you from wherever you are, and I hope you know thereâs nowhere too far
-(iâd get to you anywhere)

Nobody likes a sore loser- but what other way was there to lose you?
i. break bad habits: stop cracking my knuckles, stop doing things just because they hurt, stop texting her because iâm desperate to hear âi love youâ back. ii. write every day: if itâs fanfiction, or poetry, or the draft of a love letter. or a novel that will never be published because iâve always been bad at finishing things and because people like me arenât marketable iii. move on: fall out of love with her, and back in love with myself. donât isolate myself because none of them are her. accept that iâll never love anyone the same and that thatâs okay iv. get better. get better. get better.

like, i just want aces/aros to think real hard the next time they try to âproveâ that they deserve to âbe queerâ because theyâre âoppressedâ by non-issues like âpeople think that sex/romance is what makes people human, so itâs like theyâre telling me iâm not humanâ and âone time my mom joked that i was a plant.â
there are people, today, at the highest levels of the United States government who think my life is worth nothing. these people were happy to stand by while tens of thousands of people like me died wasting deaths. they were happy to stand by while gay men and lesbian women were attending funerals every single weekend for yearsâ in the castro, in west hollywood, in new york. theyâre happy to stand by while HIV+ people are locked into cycles of dependency and poverty, because otherwise theyâll lose access to medication and die. theyâre happy to let a preventable disease continue to run rampant in the most marginalized populations of the very community you demand entrance into. do you know how many gay black men will contract HIV in their lifetime? one in two. for latino men, itâs one in four. for white men, one in eleven.
every time you fucking whine about âvisibility,â i want you to think real hard about what âvisibilityâ actually means. every time you demand access to âresources,â which are abstract for you because youâre overwhelmingly white straight and cis, think about the people who actually need them.
