For all my drawings I always draw traditionally before turning them digital, and for my artfight stuff I’ve been having leftover spaces on my pages that I can’t fill with much of anything.

So, I drew tookas.

Its name is General S’mores lll, and it demands cuddles at least five times per day and snacks.

I don’t make the rules, it does.

I have no clue if anyone has talked about it yet, but in the Witch Hat Atelier anime with Tartah’s hat, when it’s on the floor during episode 10, where at first it sits alone in a cast of shadows as Tartah talks about how he can’t do things like everyone else because of his silverwash, and beats himself up. A few minutes later, we see the hat cast half in light as he and Coco talk about the spell she’s drawing to help him. And finally, it becomes fully covered in light once he finally casts magic near the end of the episode.

As if he finally has hope again.

Olruggio: I specialize in fire magic due to its practical applications as a light source, a heat source, and a way to fend off predators. My signature spells are all about making people feel safe or comfortable, which I suppose could be read as symbolic of my larger character motivations.

Qifrey: I specialize in water magic because I fucking hate it.

Olruggio was having a normal day three hours ago. He was coming home after a long day at work looking forward to seeing his husband best friend and eating a warm dinner. Pat the kids on the head and then go lie down. NO Qifrey says I have obtained another child she's a part of an active criminal investigation and a sign that I am dipping back into my worst destructive behaviors that you thought I'd set down years ago you have to be okay with this right now or else I'll lobotomize myself. Also there's a rat in the living room.

Olruggio's first meeting/introduction was rough, but this ^ is exactly why I don't hold it against him. Dude came home to a MINE FIELD and his husbandward literally fiddles with his fingers nervously, like he KNEW he was in trouble and tried to play it off anyway, only then to threaten to lobotomny upon himself. Not just kill himself - actively erase everything that makes Qifrey himself.

Like jesus. What a horrible day. I truly feel so bad for Olly. He was only trying to take care of his family.

It's a miracle Olruggio didn't stay mad at Qifrey for longer over this. They basically had their spat, Olruggio stomped off to his room, and then he was kinda over it (Coco being herself obviously helped, but still. He forgave Qifrey's ass way too easily)
