وَأَنَّ أَحَبَّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَدْوَمُهَا وَإِنْ قَلَّ. and the most beloved deeds to Allah are those done consistently, even if few.
(6464)] Narrated by Al-Bukhari (6464)
“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.”
— Marcus Tullius Cicero
Hasan al-Basrī رحمه الله said:
“The Companions considered respecting women as a sign of male nobility.”
The injustice you found so easy to commit...
Its reckoning will not be so easy to endure.
Ibn Baaz (رحمه الله) said:
You are in need of guidance even if you were the most pious and even if you were the most knowledgeable; you are in need of guidance till you die.
[Fatwaa 7/163]
“Our distancing from people does not mean hatred or change. Isolation is the home of weary souls.”
Abu Ad-Dardaʾ (رضي الله عنه) said:
Verily, those whose tongues are always wet from the remembrance of Allaah will enter Jannah while smiling.
Our Good Deeds Are By The Mercy Of Allaah Ta'ala
Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah [رحمه الله] said:
❝It is obligatory upon a slave of Allaah to know that the good deeds which he does are by the virtue of Allaah upon him, with Allaah's Mercy and from His blessings. Just as the people of Paradise said:
'All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Who has guided us to this, never could we have found guidance, were it not that Allaah had guided us!'❞
[Majmoo Al-Fatawa, (8/442)]
Always choose yourself, then choose the one who chooses you..
Sufyan ath-Thawri, رحمه الله said:
“It has reached me that a servant performs a deed secretly, and the Shaytan does not cease to be with him until he overcomes him, so it is written (amongst) the open deeds. Then the Shaytan does not cease to be with him until he loves to be praised for it; then it is removed from the open deeds and established in riyaʾ (showing off).”
[Ḥilyat al-Awliyā 7/30]
Allah uglifies the face of those who spread slander (backbiting) and carry tales (gossiping).
[al-Hafidh adh-Dhahabi (rahimahullah), Siyar A’laam an-Nubalaa’, 14/380]
And fear Allah, and know that Allah is strict in punishment.
Quran (2,196)
Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Shall I not tell you upon whom the Hellfire is forbidden tomorrow? It is everyone gentle, lenient, accessible, and easy-going.”
Musnad Abī Ya’lá 1853
The most unjust to his own soul is the one who lowers himself for those who do not value him and chases the love of those who bring him no benefit. Honour is found with Allāh, not in people.
