Portraits of Namibia.

I was honored to be a part of a local experience through all warps of people living different lifestyles. This guy traveled from the East of Namibia to somewhere in the middle of (nowhere) the central region of Spitzkoppe in Erongo. We were really in the middle of nowhere and I was pleased to learn that him and his friends spend their day relaxing, building a new house which will serve as a community space for backpackers and traveler and best of all.. mining for gems. I still have those gems.

Namibia is one of the most scenic countries I have traveled to, and I've traveled plenty. It's post-colonial atmosphere does make it awkward at times but once you bypass this and get to know the locals, things do really start to change.

I am going through Namibia by car, foot, bus, plane alone and it is drop dead gorgeous. The landscape is so versatile, it goes from rocky mountains like in this pic to lush green to beach to sand dunes. Man this is wild!

Who else has been to #Sossusvlei!?!?!? Oldest/biggest desert in the world !?!?! So now i am in Namibia, driving a 4x4 off road truck through the country... alone... IT'S EPIC!!! Ive been here a few weeks and its been getting progressively more impressive as the days go on. The plan is to keep traveling through all the southern and eastern African countries. I rarely stick to plans, because who knows? But this one seems solid (for now). Africa is something else isn't it?!?! It's my favourite continent on this planet right now.. This pic was taken in #Sossusvlei where I actually got a FREE tour because I guess the rangers felt that if I was traveling alone they would be comfortable to give me free tours since I'm 1 person. Traveling alone has So many benefits. So I got to experience the most epic parts of the world famous Sossusvlei for free. Perks!!!!! Namibia is gorgeous tho....
