Tonygrace but Ry + Rocky get picked up by the guardians sometime before infinity war. The Mary was sent up around 2007, we don't ask about the technology side of things.

Grace has sent the beatles back to earth, unknowing of what's happened since he's been gone. Maybe there's another leak of taumoeba and their fuel is gone, they get picked up somehow.

They get to Erid using jump points, and give them the taumoeba needed. Ryland decides to stick with the guardians for some reason, then they save Thor. Everything continues as normal but + Grace.

They meet Tony, Peter and Dr. Strange on Titan, have a heartfelt unexpected reunion, then the blip..

I like to imagine Tony and Grace weren't exes and was actually quite serious in their relationship and one day, boom Grace disappears and he's on a suicide mission. Tony never got over Ryland.

Grace also blips alongside everyone else, Tony sees both important people in his life turn to dust one after another.

Also Rocky blips because why not, Adrian watches it happen while watching their mate sleep. :)

ok so yall know how in the comics tony wasnt actually much of a party guy? and i think theres a couple deleted scenes in the movies that imply he mostly throws/attends them for appearances rather than enjoyment?

yeah, so, uhm, tony who uses ryland as a catch-all excuse for getting out of events.

back at college? "oh, yeah, ry needs help studying for a test" (he doesnt) "my partner doesnt like how much ive been partying" "its his birthday, actually" (not for another 2 months)

after they get back together? "hes got a.. work thing. wants me to go with him. i dont ask questions" "he's gotta be up early tomorrow and doesnt want me coming home so late"

and then he goes home just to grab a book and read next to ryland for a couple hours. which, to be fair, is a far better plan than whatever he just got out of doing.

Thinking about like Grace coming home after work the day the Q-ship arrives on earth, having gotten a call from Tony earlier in the day saying he had something to deal with and wouldn’t be able to pick him up after work or smth (maybe they had plans that day) and that he’d call him back later

Grace, having seen the Q-ship while biking back from work, turns on the news on the TV while calling Tony again and gets sent straight to voicemail

He leaves a message, asking where he is and to call him back, when the Q-ship starts taking off. So he calls again, leaving another message being like “Tony, please tell me you’re not on that space ship. There’s no reason for you to be on that space ship, so call me, ok?”

Tony never calls ofc

Then the next day he had to go back to work, worried asf, and when Peter’s period rolls around, he’s not there either and all Ned knows is that he left the school bus to help the day before

Anyway queue to half the world disappearing that afternoon and Grace waiting almost a month waiting for any news on Tony and when he finally touches down on earth the first thing he says is “I lost the kid”

Some secret third thing Grace Rocky in my crossover fic??? It's more likely than you think. Bonded pair, do not separate.

The direct contact of the affectionate tone rattled Grace's entire rib cage. Muscles all over his body relaxed for the first time in what felt like a week, and his fatigue suddenly caught up to him as everything loosened. He leaned his head on his arms and hummed.

(They are like a cheetah and a golden retriever to me except they are both the cheetah and the dog at different times.)

A selfie of Theo wirh Jon and Gerry in the background, not nearby, but a Gerry or so of space between them, tall man that he is.

Jon is looking towards Theo and the camera with a look of mild confusion and announce. Very is looking at the same thing but has a mildly amused look, like this happens often.

The photo is captioned “my brother and the baddie he pulled by being autistic”

Bonus, Jon and Gerry look tired like it’s the early morning. Sometime after an avoided Eyepocolips, judging from Jon and Theo’s scars. Jon and Gerry are wearing comfy clothes like Theo dragged them out of the house early in the morning. Jon a long skirt and oversized old leather jacket and Gerry in black sweatpants, torn sweater, and a long leather coat.

What can be seen of Theo looks put together as though he was fully prepared for whatever plans he has dragged the other two along for.
