The Meka itself is actually multiple different Meka with deployment being always accompanied by its different Spawn. At any time, the Spawn can combine into a state called Oneness. The Middle Nursefather and former Great Brother. A man whose greatest trauma was not being able to get a limited run collectable toy as a child and whose affiliation with the Middle only exacerbated his inability to grow up. Past the superficial charm of being a cool dad and willingness to avenge any wrongs committed against his family is a materialistic manchild whose boasting of of family is mere braggadocio, a justification to be selfish and hurt people whenever and however he pleases. Not unlike the rest of the Middle in that regard, he's too obvious about it. Draw your attention to two design elements that most Middle characters share: the chains and tattoos. The tattoos correlate to personal wrongs avenged while the chains represent the wrongs avenged against the Middle as a whole. Note the chains only serving to hold his book and sword, mainly wrapoed around his leg or "bear paw". Meanwhile, most of his tattoos are covered by his white suit (most Middle members dress lightly). He's only interested in avenging slights againt himself and only avenges others when it proved directly beneficial to him. One final note: his bear motif. While commonly symbolizing protectiveness of their young, only mother bears truly embody this while father bears do not."
