Hellsalem's Lot (ヘルサレムズ・ロット), formerly New York (NY). Three years ago in the precedented disaster known as 'The Collapse of New York,' a large hole opened up in the city's center that connected to another realm known as the 'alterworld.' Ever since, the world's attention has been focused on HL as a hyper-abnormal city, mixing the alterworld and this world, and it is said that whoever controls HL will dominate for the next 1000 years. The fog that is emitted from the hole envelops the entire city, making entry from the outside world difficult. Transit in and out from the outside world is conducted via the one remaining bridge.

Blood Bath and Beyond

Steven was seated at his desk with the usual mug in hand. Papers were scattered and lined by the morning’s light, which peered between the blinds and stretched ever-further with the sunrise. His jacket was thrown over the shoulders of his chair, his tie loose, the top buttons of his shirt undone and sleeves rolled to the elbows. 

The telltale signs of another all-nighter. 

He gripped the back of his neck and tried to squeeze the tension away, sighing. Steven tossed the file down with the rest and dropped back in his chair, pivoting towards the window and gazing at nothing in particular while he sorted through his messy thoughts.

“Don’t gimme that,” Daniel said with a huff. It was as if the rude greeting he gave Steven was never uttered, and the tongue-in-cheek remark Steven gave in reply was uncalled for. 

“We got a situation. A 100-foot… dinosaur-lookin’ thing is rampagin’ near Ghetto Heights and spittin’ fire. Unless you want the entire city to go up in smoke, you better get your ass down here quick.”

“Huh, that does sound like a problem.” He agreed, side-eying the empty office while he kept the phone to his ear. No one else was available for deployment right then, so this would be a solo mission at best. Not that that was a problem for the co-chief of Libra, but he preferred to have his ass covered any way he could. 

Without disconnecting the call, he turned on his heel and proceeded towards the elevator, “what more can you tell me about this dragon of yours, Law?” He set the phone on speaker while he sent a quick text to Klaus, notifying him of the situation.
