Yumi has lived in Seoul for years. One wouldnât really guess that, considering how often sheâs on the phone with her dad trying to understand directions, or staring at the GPS app on her phone to try and find her destination. This time she was trying to find a coffee shop recommended by her dadâs friend. As Yumi is a coffee aficionado, it was particularly important that she made this pilgrimage. But she was certainly not a directions aficionado. She had been walking in circles for at least twenty minutes.
âUh⊠I think Iâm lost.â The cry for help wasnât really directed at anyone in particular, but she got an unexpected response from a tall, blonde stranger. She was surprised, to say the least, when she garnered a response. Her gaze lifted from her phone and towards the girl, a glimmer of hope flashing across her eyes as salvation presented itself. âI think Iâm going to a place called Dream Cafe? Honestly if we come across a cat cafe along the way Iâd much rather go there at this point,â she commented, her droopy eyes really indicating her exhaustion. âI think Iâll just follow you. That seems safer, somehow,â she commented with an assured nod, despite how little this resolution actually made sense. But she had decided on this, and it was going to happen. If this stranger was okay with it, which seemed unlikely.
Dream Cafe? Sounds like a place that Ari wouldnât mind to visit. If it had s w e e t s, you know that she would be there without a doubt. â Dream Cafe sounds like a fun place to be. I wouldnât mind help taking you there! â She, herself, would probably stay with the other lady when they made there way there. Itâs not like she had anything else better to do, besides itâs always nice to have company. â Cats⊠you know Iâm not a big fan of cats, so letâs just go that cafe. Call? â ( Sheâs acting as if they were friends, but that never seemed to be too bad of a thing to do. ) It was back in America when she went over to her friendâs house to meet up and her cat â her cat scratched her. Ari was probably making a big deal out of nothing, but since then she never really enjoyed the sights of cats.Â
Feeling a sense of responsibility for the other, she searched up for the cafe on her GPS app and happily found that they were only 5 minutes away from it by walking. â Itâs just your luck. Itâll take us about 5 minutes to walk there. So follow me, okay? â Not even waiting for a response from the latter, Ari began to walk down the busy street looking down at her phone and then up again to make sure she wouldnât pass the cafe.  â Keep up with me, will you? â She exclaimed in a loud voice when she was a few steps too ahead of the latter ( to make sure that she wouldnât fall behind ).Â

It was him. ONE out of the billion other guys in his group. Her friends were crazed over this boy group. She did not understand why. They were just another group who made music and dance, right? WRONG. Her friends threw looks at her when she said that last time and they made sure to get the message across that they were the so-called â heartthrobs â of this female generation ( be it older or younger ). It was just her luck to be stuck in this place with the man. Seriously, the fans were lined up outside probably CRYING to be with him right now. She was the last person that wanted to be in here. Ari simply wanted to enjoy her meal in peace.
â Why donât you shoot them a wink or something? Iâm sure theyâll LOVE it. â

People. There were times they just irritated her, especially in the morning when she was not in the best mood. If you spill a drink on someone, it would be A LOT easier to say sorry and just help them out. Why must someone go out of their way and infuriate another? It honestly made NOÂ sense to her. Feeling sympathetic towards the female who experienced the unfortunate accident, she walked over with a wad of napkin and handed them over to her.Â
      â People, huh? â

Alex was standing with only the right part of his earphones in his ear and humming softly with the song, his head slightly moved back and forth as he âjammedâ to the music. His hands was stuffed down in his pockets and his back resting against the wall, he was deep in thoughts in his own world as his named was called again and again. Minding his own business he suddenly gets surprised by the touch of the stranger, bursting out two words before he looks at her blinking.
«Ice teaâ! Oh.. Iâm sorry, what? The music was too loud..»
â Youâre going to risk damaging your ears if you keep listening to your music that loudly. â She shook her head showing her discontent. Ari enjoyed listening to music herself, but coming from a doctorâs family she knew better than to blast her music up through a set of earphones or headphones. â Well, go get your ice tea then â canât keep them waiting too long. â Heâs already past that long time period, but she felt like giving him a little tease to hurry him along while she pointed to the counter.
I want to be missed. I want people to long for me Like they long for the night: I want to be that darkness That fills a room.

STARS! CONSTELLATIONS! They never ceased to amaze what little went through that mind of hers. Another night, another sleepless night. Itâs been hard for her to sleep ALONE. Sheâs not used to the emptiness even if itâs been over four years. It was a usual habit of her to visit the convenience store to grab a quick snack as it was so conveniently close to her apartment. Ari sipped on her drink while her hazel hues gazed at the night sky. Her eyes peeped over and saw another man sitting outside of the store. Of course, being who she was, she said something in this somber silent night.Â
â Hey, donât you ever wonder how and why the stars shine so brightly? â

One of the few things she found fascinating was how the sky worked. It was truly the work of Godâs hand â despite not believing in one. The sun rises in the morning while the moon comes out in the dark sky filled with the BRIGHT stars. If that wasnât amazing to someone, then Ari would have a hard time trying to fascinate someone. Night skies with stars shimmering brightly was quite the sight for her tonight. It was exceptional! Finding an empty seat next to a rather young female, she thought that maybe she, too, was out here to stargaze.Â
â The stars. Theyâre rather bright tonight, huh? â

He blinks, frowning a bit she he hears someone calling after him. Heâs gonna be even later if he keeps having to stop. Hoping itâs not another fan, he slowly spins around on the heel of his foot until heâs staring back at her. She doesnât look like sheâs gonna attack him or anything, maybe she doesnât recognize him yet? âUhm.. Thanks..â Walking over, he cautiously takes the booklet from her and bows quickly.
âKinda need that for my job.â
Upon receiving a bow from the latter, Ari quickly returned it following the customs that Koreans had. Honestly, she was still used to the American life where everyone was just friends and didnât have to deal with formalities --- of course, itâs still kept when needed. â Aye, no problem at all. â Her lips curved up into a smile as her eyebrows raised in curiosity with the mention of his job. â Job? If itâs not too much, do you mind telling me about what you do? â Maybe, she was being a bit too straightforward. He was someone she just met and it would seem to be too much of her to pry into his personal life, but she couldnât help her desire to find out.

It would be a LIE if she said she didnât recognize who this idol was. One of her friends back in America was a huge fan of Girlsâ Generation, so it was hard not to know. If only her friend knew that she would be meeting his number one bae â or thatâs what he liked to call her â because he would be ridiculously jealous. She was ready to rub this in his face when she got the chance. Ari took this chance to talk to her, although there was that small fear of not being able to if her manager or whoever took care of her might be around ( sheâs learned a bit of these facts from her friend ).
â Arenât you Taeyeon â you know the idol? â

She hasnât been to a club in awhile and thereâs a clear reason as to why that only she knew. Her friends would constantly try to hit her up and make her come, but she just felt out of place. Honestly, it just didnât feel right. Ari couldnât explain it, but she thought maybe one last time at the club wouldnât be so bad. She enjoyed watching people dance. She wasnât much of a dancer herself, so it was much more fun watching those who could. Her eyes were caught on to that man dancing in the middle of the dance floor and when he left it, she made her way over. SCREAMING over the loud music, she managed to voice out,Â
â YOU KNOW, youâre a really good dancer! â

She was running a bit late for their appointed meeting, but she couldnât help it because she slept in. All she could do right now was hurry up with getting ready and storm out of her apartment. Short breaths from RUSHING to the restaurant. Ari fixed her hair quickly by running it through her fingers before proceeding over to her friend. She popped her face in front of him as her features displayed joy with her wide smile. No greetings were heard, just excitement from her next few words.
â You are going to LOVE hammer jjajangmyeon.  â

Renoâs eye twitched upon hearing the otherâs words. â Y-yah Lee Ari â looking down at her wet ipod , she shut her eyes then trying to exhale out her anger. â You spilled milk on my ipod when the only thing I did was screamed at youâ â sighing in disbelief , what more can she do ? knowing she couldnât stay mad at Ari for long .
She ABSOLUTELY despised it when someone called her by her full name. Obviously no one would because thatâs when one would know that they did something absolutely wrong. Besides, only parents do that. But she could not help herself and responded in the same fashion, â Kwon Reno, calm down will you? â Yes, she was at fault, but the older didnât even bother to wipe it down to see if it still worked before she screamed at Ari. Her hands were quick to grab a towel from the otherâs kitchen to clean up the mess before placing Renoâs ipod back into her hands. â If it doesnât work, Iâll buy you a new one, okay? â She didnât know whether that would infuriate her or calm her down, but she had to say something.Â

She was a loner at times, but that never bothered her. Going to a carnival by herself wasnât all that bad if she thought about it. Thereâs no one there to bother her and she can ride anything she wanted to without any complaints. That ROLLERCOASTER!!! It was calling her, she swore. It had the craziest turns and loops. She HAD to get on. With an excited heart, she quickly walked over to the line watching itâs speed and the SCREAMS were the life of the show. Ari simply couldnât wait to get on and exclaimed to the nearest person around her,Â
â Now, doesnât that look FUN?! âÂ

Shopping was always something that she loved to do when she wanted to clear her mind. It was more of impulsive buying rather than anything. AND, here she was, once again in COEX mall ready to buy whatever it was to her liking. She had a full closet that she doesnât even touch because of her habit of buying whatever she likes when she sees it. The bill shocked her father at first, but he then got used to it realizing that it was probably what his daughter ( he loved her a bit too much despite how she treated him ) needed. She spotted her friend from the distance and ran to her. Ari playfully gave her friend a light slap on the arms before she blurted out,Â
â You should have called me if you were going shopping! â

After a day of doing absolutely NOTHING, she decided to stop by a convenience store to cool off. The snacks and drinks were inviting her to step in. She wanted to buy everything in the store, but she snapped back to reality realizing that she would have no use of the food as they would eventually go bad before she even got to eat them. Ari then stepped outside with her vanilla ice cream and coke to find a seat that was empty and sat in front of a man. She stripped off the plastic and began to have her tongues explore the wonders of the sweet and tasty frozen dessert. With her mouth full, she tried to open her coke but she didnât have the strength, so to the man she inquired,Â
â Hey, you mind opening this? â
