making fanart: if you make SFW single-image fanart or short fancomics, please post it on tumblr and tag me. as long as it is posted on tumblr and i am tagged, you are permitted to post it on any other platforms, just please include my username and do not claim the characters as your own. all fanart is appreciated and loved! please do not tag me in NSFW fanart, only credit me as the original creator. specify that you did not create the character

fanfiction/comics: one-shots and long form ongoing fanfiction is okay, if you make one, please DM me the link, unless it is NSFW. if it is NSFW, credit is not required as long as you specify that it is fanfiction and not the original work. for fancomics, if it goes on for more than 3 pages, please tag me in EVERY update, and specify in EVERY post that it is fanmade. do not tag me in NSFW media.

pregnancy in my universe has different length terms depending on the species, and some species arent even pregnant, they just create a child

psychiatric hospitals are very nice and give patients reasonable privacy and freedom, and greatly contrast from hospitals IRL. in most continuities, they use AI engines in cameras to track patients in private places (bathrooms, showers, bedrooms sometimes) to make sure they aren't hurting themselves but at the same time be private.

Lore drabble: Organs aren't very regular in this universe. They vary a lot between people; however, organ rejection is very uncommon. organ transplants are also very ucommon as in most continuities, people can grow back body parts to an extent.

Janus had just stepped out of his house, recoiling a bit as the hot summer air blew against his face. He shielded his eyes from the bright sun as he adjusted to its assaulting rays (thank goodness for sunscreen!). He took a deep breath and walked down the steps of his porch. He decided that today, instead of making coffee at home, he wanted something from Diane’s café and bakery. Today was a “latte with caramel and whipped cream” day.

DID and OSDD are very common in my universe! slightly more common than in real life. (about 3-4% of the population in my universe, 2% in real life)

cars arent super common in my universe! theyre usually only owned by people who have to travel for work, people who are disabled, and people who have family that lives far away.

in my universe, some entities are capable of creating pocket dimensions! these can come in all shapes and sizes, and can only be entered or exited by interacting with the entity that formed them. the entity uses energy from their own body to prevent the dimension from collapsing

there are 3 common types of sapient species in my universe

the first type are referred to as humans, but have several distinct differences between them. they have rounder bone structures, different skin colors, and minor differences. they also age differently from humans, but the differences with aging are only noticeable after about age 25

the second type i havent named yet, and there are several subspecies. they can create pocket dimensions and need to feed off of energies other than food.

the third type has no name and never has, they simply refer to themselves as "our kind". they see themselves as far superior to other species despite cognitively not being much different than humans and the second species type.

there are no third-world countries in my world. Most countries are doing roughly the same economically, and food, water, clothing, healthcare, etc., are all seen as basic necessities and are required by law to be provided for free to anyone who needs them typically.

He headed downtown, passing the shops that lined the streets until he was in front of a familiar pink and yellow awning, set above the glass swinging door and window full of appetizing-looking pastries and baked goods. Janus grabbed the metal bar on the door, and pushed his way into the café, smiling at the cheery jingle of the bells positioned above the door.

anyway, this is my character Diane, who you may recognize as a parody/reference to a popular character from another work!

none of my characters have human skin tones. all characters have either white, black, grey, or a pastel color for their skin. gray skin tones sometimes have a colorful undertone to them, such as how my character Diane (who i have yet to post art of or make an intro post to) has slightly pink-gray skin. there are no races, only different species. gray skin tones are the most common.

in all continuities of my universe, no countries that exist in real life exist, and continents are differently shaped. however, regional accents will still be referred to in blog posts as "American accents" etc, despite those regions not existing in my universe, as what i refer to as an "American accent" will sound identical to an IRL American accent.

character intro: protagonist (kenji)

the protagonist's appearence and gender are up to interperetation and intended to be somewhat self-insert. the protagonist will be sometimes reffered to as Y/N but will typically be reffered to as Genesis (fem), Kenji (neutral) or Janus (masc). more often than not, they will be primarily called Kenji. Kenji's official appearence consists of a neutral tone gray skin, dark gray eyes, and mid-neck length pale gray hair. they are about 5''10' (177cm) and wear typically gender neutral clothes in a slightly goth/scene style but mostly tame with few accessories. kenji's gender officially is gender fluid, but they can be presented in any way. they use all pronouns, but please match pronouns to the rendition of kenji being used (she/her for genesis, etc). Kenji speaks with an American accent. personality-wise, kenji is a very kind person, slightly shy, with a strong sense of justice. kenji has no siblings so far, but this may change in the future or vary between continuities. kenji's orientation is demiromantic asexual, but their sexuality fluctuates between continuities. in most continuities they are sex-indifferent.
