Emerald eyes narrowed, taking a moment to scan over the apparent copy of himself. Yet, the other’s speechlessness left an opening, a rather amused smirk tugging at his lips. “Well well, this is quite new. I’ve never seen anyone able to take on my appearance so well."

TIME TO LISTEN UP! I get a lot of asks from people who have Trichotillomania, dermatillomania, nervous habits, nail biting problems and anxiety issues that make them harm their body in an effort to relieve stress. If you do any of those things, you should be paying attention to this post.
This is not a cure, this is a way to help you keep your hands busy.

a spinner ring is a two part ring. The base band and the free spinning band. You can put it on a finger while you’re reading and have a free hand and keep that hand busy by spinning it with your thumb, or you can use both hands. It really helps keep your hands busy.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas (Ceritus)
The water didn’t really help with the headache but it certainly got some of the nasty taste in her mouth. Now all she needed to do was try to find her bag with the painkillers in it and hopefully the headache would dull a little. But it seemed her searching would have to be put on hold since the male she’d woken up next to had woken up. It was inevitable really, but she had hope to find the things before that happened. All the same, she made sure the glass was full and exited the bathroom. True enough the male was awake.
"Well it seems my darling husband is awake." Her tone was totally deadpan, as was her expression. To say she was pleased with whatever had happened would be a total lie. Paine scanned the room and her eyes finally landed on her bag. Which was already open and halfway across the room. If there was anything missing she would locate it later just as long as the painkillers in there. Placing the glass on the table, she crouched down beside it and rifled through the contents. Thankfully the painkillers were in there and it wasn’t long before two were out of the packaging and down her throat.
"I’m guessing you already know that this…" Paine gestured between them and the band on her finger. “Isn’t going to be permanent." She didn’t even know who he was or how the whole thing had come to pass in the first place.
From his place on the floor, Kadaj watched the woman move around the room, attempting to piece together what kind of person she was. If nothing else, she seemed just as disinterested in this predicament as he was. He wasn't sure what he'd do if she wanted them to remain married-- he most certainly wasn't the type to stick around for a marriage, especially one he didn't remember signing up for.
He stood after a moment and moved back to the bed, thankful that he was still dressed. The thought of sex with... whomever this was repulsed him.
"Oh, of course. I would have it no other way," he replied to her words, not at all against the idea of the two of them never seeing each other again.

"I know you…" Kadaj tilted his head back and smiled ever so slightly.
"One of those Turks. Missing something?"
Ice shot down her spine when the voice called out to her. Her spine stiffened and she inclined her head slowly in the remnants direction.
Kadaj…..
Slowly, her hand fell to the gun at her hip and she gripped it’s handle, comforted by its weight suddenly.
A small chuckle found its way to his throat at her sudden interest in her gun. He shifted his weight to a better angle for movement, just in case a fight did happen.
"So scared?"

She was met with another laugh, mocking disbelief tainting every sound he made. Kadaj adjusted his stance to use his height to its fullest ability— little that there was compared to his brothers— and gave the girl the most dull stare he could muster.
"So that’s it? That’s your mighty threat?" Kadaj was almost disappointed. He’d expected better from a confrontation that he was actually attempting to put effort into.
—♥ The petite sucked her teeth, bending over to pick up her fallen books and bag. "Whatever. I’m not about to stand here in the middle of a busy walk way to try and teach you some manners. Maybe another time." Having gathered everything but her pencil case, not paying much attention to what she had dropped, Amu made sure the light was red before shoving her way past the silver haired delinquent, only turning to stick her tongue out at him.
Kadaj watched her storm away in a huff, amused at the theatrics from her. Blue eyes continued to stare impassively until he noticed that she'd left something behind. It was against his nature to do something as nice as returning it, but he had little use for the thing. He opened the pencil case and rifled through it quickly, checking for anything of value, before sighing and jogging over.
"Wait."

Kadaj pursed his lips in thought, listening to the ramblings of the man before him. Every word that passed his lips brought a pang of memory through his mind, and made the Remnant feel more and more vulnerable. He hated this with the most passion he could muster.
"I am not Sephiroth!" That name was the final straw, and Kadaj’s envy was unbearable. He didn’t know this Sephiroth, but Mother seemed to love him better than Kadaj and his brothers, which angered him. “I—" His voice slipped and his eyes widened. Confusion coursed through every nerve ending, and finally, Kadaj’s muscles gave out, bringing him quickly to the ground.
"Oh? But the resemblance is uncanny…" Indeed, it was most unsettling. The commander made no effort to help the other after he collapsed on the barren ground and simply opted to watch the silver-haired boy from a distance.
After a few moments of silence, Genesis shook his head and crouched down next to the younger man. “Supposing you speak the truth, this still leaves many unanswered questions on my end," he muttered, entwining his fingers in the other’s hair in order to lock eyes with him. "Tell me, if you are not Sephiroth, what are you then, hm?" He promptly released him after asking his question. azure hues narrowing into mere slits as he stood up.
His nerves were on fire with something he couldn't place, and he felt too many things at once. Hatred, fury, love, compassion, a suppressed weakness that Kadaj couldn't figure out. And all at once, they came to a halt, leaving the Remnant breathless and staring open-mouthed at Genesis.
He felt an unusual sort of longing for Genesis, as though the man was once his friend. And there were memories to support this, memories he had held back in jealousy and anger for so long. Perhaps he was once Sephiroth. In a much quieter voice than he had spoken in before, Kadaj said, "I don't know."

"My mother was a strong woman too, though in a different sense. She was very resolute in her beliefs, and she taught me to be the same." Angeal smiled faintly at the topic of his mother, and the obvious love Kadaj had for his. It was nice to see someone caring so much for their family. Kadaj’s step forward pulled Angeal from his thoughts as he tilted his head, not backing away, simply wondering what had caught Kadaj’s eye.
"I.., don’t believe that could be possible. My mother passed on, and I don’t think I have any siblings…" His brow was furrowed in confusion, the only ones Hollander had experimented on with Gillian’s Jenova cells were himself and Genesis, from his knowledge…. but could the young man in front of him have them as well?
The words of kindness towards the man's mother filtered through Kadaj's ears, but he paid no mind to them. This fine line of connection was more important. He could feel it in his head, in his nerves, more of those memories flooding to the surface. He didn't squash the memories this time, allowing them to flood his consciousness, eyes flickering quickly as he took all of it in.
"No, I can see it. I can feel this. We are brothers, you and I."
Kadaj tilted his head and let out a short, barking laugh. “Excuse you?" He took orders from no one, especially not someone who he didn’t know. And most especially if they acted like they felt themself superior to him— as this man was doing here.
At this remark, relatively blank features had grown darker, bright hues flashing in ominous crimson as aggressive flames within him sparked. The Ancient’s patience ran especially thin amidst this aura, turning menacing optics onto the silver-haired other; upon a visage most familiar, repulsive. "As ignorant as you are deaf, aye," he bellowed. "A stark contrast from the likes of which you came. These grounds are ancient, sacred, and I will not allow your presence to taint them further. Leave.”
None of this treatment was familiar to Kadaj, a man accustomed to the fearful screams of people who would do what they were told, lest they be killed. A childish pout crossed his face for an instant, before it morphed quickly into anger. "No," was all he said, petulant but firm.
