THE PITT
season 2 — 12:00 pm
They give us half a life and think we won't fight for it. SEASON 2 of SEVERANCE (insp)
It appears that boredom lies behind the most creative ideas. That's why quarantine has produced some of the most entertaining activities. One of them is the Getty Museum challenge, that so many of you have already seen in our previous article here.
Narcissus taking a selfie is the ACTUAL best.
These are REALLY cool
These are art in themselves, in a some of them point out what lockdown was like for us, they’re expressed themselves in a really cool way. But I think these are going to be talked about in the future.
#Please little bird
I just like birds.
I am OBSESSED with people telling me how they met the love of their life. Just found out my director met his wife through a misdirected email - that’s fate right there.
“I saw her last name was Jewish - and I’m Jewish, so when I corrected the email I told her Shabbat Shalom with a smiley face — this was the very beginning of the emoticon era, you understand. She had a watermark of a dog rescue at the bottom of her email, and I love dogs, so I found her website and there she was — all these videos of her rehabilitating dogs and talking about the organization. I fell in love with her just from those videos.”
😭😭😭
“I asked if we could meet for coffee, told her I was looking for volunteer opportunities — which was halfway a lie — and she said ‘okay, but just so you know I have a boyfriend, so this is strictly business,’ and I was so disappointed, but I did want to meet her. We sat in that coffeeshop until they turned the lights out on us, and she broke up with her boyfriend the next day.”
MULTIPLE people in the notes have told me how important these tags are to them so here’s to keeping it in the main post.

SEVERANCE: SEASON 1 I understand that you're unhappy with the life that you've been given. But you know what? Eventually, we all have to accept reality. I am a person. You are not. I make the decisions. You do not.

THE WHEEL OF TIME
season 3 - scenario appreciation
SEVERANCE (2022–) #02.10 ‘Cold Harbor’
This is a short OS set during Siuan & Moiraine's dream in 3x05.
“Remember, the ding of the brass pin will wake you.”
It’s warm in Tear, or it is in this version of it, but it doesn’t feel like the boiler that is the Aiel Waste.
Through the clouds, the sun frays its way, landing gentle caresses on Moiraine’s skin. The wind sings, encouraging the leaves and branches to dance around her, and the trees, high and proud, stand like a comforting canopy above her.
It’s beautiful—like a cocoon, away from madness, fear and death. Despite the ostracising and the loss, it’s no wonder Siuan’s dreams always bring her here. It’s home. It’s her father’s smiles and embraces. It’s the lesson he taught her, the faith he had in her. It’s the life she and Moiraine dreamt of before it all came crashing down with one eager knock on a door.
Many years have passed since that day in Gitara’s study—when a life was birthed and two lives were burnt. The memory of that day still grapples at her, like creepers, encircling her limbs, torso and neck. The joy, the pure, unfiltered happiness thrashed out and replaced by doom.
She remembers Siuan’s eyes—the way their shine disappeared under the veil of disenchantment. Twenty years ago, the scale of justice tipped against them, and they could only stare at each other, silenced by the cruel turn of the Wheel.
Moiraine feels the sun caressing her skin. Her feets glued to the ground, the heels of her boots digging into the soil, she watches Siuan from afar. She can’t afford to waste any time. She must tell that much to Siuan—they’re running out of time. She’s running out of time—but she can’t move.
