Daily Fodd Fact #578: One sailor superstition has to do with a red sunrise, it goes "Red at morning, Sailors warning; Red at night, Sailors delight". This actually has a nugget of truth to it though, assuming you are in the mid-latitudes since it needs the prevailing winds to travel west to east. Anyways, if the morning sky is red it's because clear skies over the horizion to the east permit the Sun to light the undersides of clouds. That's where the colouring comes from and the rest has to do with the wind stuff mentioned first and possibly storms too.

Daily Fodd Fact #577: Duchess Sophie was granted the rare privilege of being allowed in Buckingham Palace, before she was officially wed. It's rumoured that she was allowed to use an apartment in it for a while, she gained the privilege by being homies with the Queen at the time.

Her name is Dawn and I created her a few years ago but i never posted her or talked about her except once, i think. She's very dear to me because I created her during the time i was deeply struggling with health anxiety, and she helped me process my fears and explore them and put them somewhere outside of me instead of running away from them all the time or letting them consume me. I kinda didn't realize how much she helped me heal.

Daily Fodd Fact #576: The optimal handshake time should be 1-2 seconds long finds a UK study, if it's too short the person comes off as disinterested or arrogant. They didn't mention what people feel about a longer one but I'm assuming it's just discomfort at why tf you won't let go.

Daily Fodd Fact #575: The reason why 3DS games have that weird little tab thing poking out the cartridge is to prevent people from trying to push it into an older model and having it not work.

Daily Fodd Fact #574: The Blood Eagle was a method of execution detailed in some parts of Scandinavia. It entailed having someone put in the prone position and then having their ribs severed from the spine and then having their lungs pulled through the opening to create a pair of "wings". We are not 100% sure if this was a work of literary fiction, a real thing that occurred or if it's a mistranslation but yeah.

It's wild blueberry season in Sweden and I've been picking and eating my fill everyday from the forest behind my house! The entire forest floor is covered in wild blueberry bushes and the tangy taste is so cosmic, I had to paint them✨ Photos of the berries I picked!
