❛ you’re a nursing student right? ❜, he asked her in one breath, clearly showing by the sweat running on his forehead that he had been running for a while. someone had fallen unconcious on the floor in front of him and a couple of other people. they didn’t want to move them in case she had any injuries so they decided as a group to send someone get help — so here he was. he had already went to see if someone was at the infirmery; this was the second best choice he had. ❛ someone fell, can you come check on them ? ❜

Chaewoo waa gifted and anyone who knew her well enough knew this to be a fact. She was good at memorizing facts and numbers and dates. She was friendly and charismatic, making her a perfect bedside nurse. As well as the way she excelled at anything she put her mind to. She’d always wanted to help people. Even when she was little, she never played house with the other kids, she always played doctor. And while her life plans didn’t seem to play out in favor of those childhood dreams, they never strayed far. When she got the chance to go to Hingdae, she knew automatically that she wanted to go into nursing. She wanted to help comfort people and make them feel better whether it was emotionally or physically. She’d read books on it before enrolling, but after beginning the semester, she was finally starting to feel like a real nursing student. Although she never wished for anyone to fall ill, moments like this were exciting to her. “Yes, I am.” She said, not as confidently as she could’ve. Shifting her books in her arms, she nodded again and swallowed. “I’ll follow you.”
