Ferdinand Cheval’s palace includes a Source of Life waterfall, an Egyptian Temple of Nature, a grotto, and a Hindu Temple. Cheval inscribed these words on the wall:
“Everything you can see, passer-by, is the work of one peasant, who, out of a dream, created the queen of the world…”
