New Dino Alert!

Just hours ago (as of posting this) the discovery of Kank australis was announced, representing a new genus of unenlagiidid theropod from Argentina.

Unenlagidae contains small Paravian theropods including Unenlagia, Neuquenraptor, Austroraptor, Buitraptor, Pyroraptor, Diuquin, and Ypupiara.

A/N: Hi!! Sorry this took so long, hard to find motivation these days </3 I hope you enjoy nonetheless, I don't think I did this prompt as intended, oops.

Karkat:

- Karkat doesn't really realize he runs warm, for him its just his normal body temp. So he does side eye you a bit the first time you come in close and just, stand there.

- "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING STANDING NEXT TO ME LIKE IM YOURE MOTHERGRUB?"

"Karkattttttt, you're warm. Can I borrow your sweater?" He narrows his eyes at you.

"FUCK NO. GO WARM YOURSELF UP." He's blushing by the way. You think it's because the troll is mad. No he's just trying to not imagine you in his clothes and he physically is about to lose his shit.

"Karkat." You do your stupid human thing and pout with your eyes trained on him and he GROANS. Roughly shaking his fingers through his hair.

"FINE. SINCE YOU WANT TO ACT LIKE YOURE INCAPABLE OF FENDING FOR YOURSELF."

Karkat grabs you by your hand, tugging you to his room so he can push you onto the couch there, throwing himself down with his arms crossed. Feigning anger as he stares off into the wall.

That leaves you standing there, awkwardly near him, waiting for him to let you in on what you're supposed to be doing.

"MY GOD. SIT DOWN. DO I HAVE TO SPELL EVERYTHING OUT FOR YOU?"

"Well, okay."

He tugs your arm down, pulling you into his lap, his thicker arms wrapping around, bringing uou to his chest securely.

"I'M NOT GIVING YOU MY SWEATER SO YOU CAN DESTROY IT. THIS WILL WORK."

"This seems more complicated than just, giving me it." But you're already snuggling into him, moving to wrap your arms around his neck and your legs around his hips.

Leaning your entire body weight into him, you sigh as you finally become warm, seeping off his heat.

Karkat's fingers curling into your jacket, his chin resting on your head.

He can't believe he's a living space heater for you.

Kankri:

- I don't see Kankri as a physical person, more so not wanting to be touched, but for those he cares about, he can learn and make a special exception. Aka you. That's about it.

So when he's sitting down minding his own business, flipping through a book. He isn't actually digesting any of the words, mind unfocused.

He feels a pair of arms sneak around his shoulders, a chest against his upper back.

Kankris ready to start saying just how inappropriate it is to touch someone without asking, mouth opening as he turns his head.

Oh, its you. Your head flopped over his shoulder and you're ever so slightly cutting off his airflow.

But it's you. So he swallows down the anger and tries mask his flustered state with his usual snark.

"May I help y9u with s9mething 9r is there a specific reas9n as t9 why y9u're t9uching me? Usually such things w9uld 6e l99ked d9wn up9n, especially if it was s9me9ne else n9t cl9se to y9ur pers9n."

"Kankri, I am cold. Do something since you got all the magic answers."

"While I appreciate the sentiment 9f y9u trusting that I kn9w h9w t9 fix y9ur issue. I have n9 p9wer 9ver the fact that y9u are c9ld. I have n9t f9und a way t9 c9m6at the weather and the gl96al warming that is 9ccuring, which is imp9rtant if y9u-"

"Let me hold you trashmouth. You radiate heat."

"....And if I d9n't?"

"I'll go ask Cronus." He feels you shrug.

"Fine."

He freezes when you nuzzle your head into his neck, pressing your cold cheek against it.
