um an exerpeiement done by just tracing over the same drawing w different expressions idk it didnt work out v well but im getting closer to having a consistent character design idk

i work on character design a lot rip....... palleem and aqia are p much perfect and im p ok at keeping them consistent but............ main character champange........ ive been working on her a lot tonight maybe ill post some of that bs

the point of this is working on putting them to simple shapes haha, to help when i really get into the body design. circle, trapezoid, rectangle... maybe its good that the mc is the only one who isnt a quadrilateral

i have a good reference for her legs but not her arm and so i usually try to cover it up but no more of that!!! tackling this shit head on and dtawing a reference. also her hand. 

the hard part of aqia is that i truly want all of her shit to make sense but!!! its really hard bc i dont know anything about robotics wweh

instead of doing informative things like character lists i just doodled some makila that arent palleem lol

i guess going around clockwise its: one of palleem's moms (the one whos in charge of the rekilan), um the makila who comes to champagne's house to tell her about palleem and enlist her help, the leader of bokilan, and then two p much pointles makila who help champagne when she first arrived at rekilan (they all have names i just dont remember them and im too lazy to open up the file lol)

so this is what i did today haha! character lineup what what. maybe palleem should be taller i cant decide hm. maybe im just getting confused bc aqia’s tall and thats messing me up. this is really just the story of champagne mai and her Really Tall friends.

BUT WOW IM GONNA GIVE SOME CHARACTER INFO WATCH OUT:

Champagne Mai; Adventurer who cracks under the slightest pressure, cant be bored or else she’ll go mad, named after her grandmother, who she got her little heart clip from, refuses to pull her bangs back even though they’re always in her face. Main character. 

aqia rain: says she got into an accident when she was younger which smashed up the left side of her body so her dad re-made it or something, wants to hire champagne to find her dad who’s gone missing, lived her life inside a basement bc her dad didnt want people to find out about her whole cyborg thing. body parts reconstructed (in order of reconstruction); heart, portion of the brain, left arm, left hip/thigh/knee area, left hand. 

Palleem Re: She’s not a bear per se, she’s actually a Makila. Which is a bear/human thing idk. She’s the heir to the Great Tribe of Rekilan, one of the many Makila tribes. She runs away bc of a prophecy sort of thing and Champagne is sent to go after her. Champagne thinks she’d make a really really good leader of the Makila.
