@bluebirdo16 brought up some good points against my theory; that being said, I will be arguing against them for the fun of it
I’ll start by saying I don’t really have an in-world explanation for Vylad having green eyes. Still I could make the argument that Jess made Vylad Aphmau’s brother after he was already an established character and couldn’t randomly change his eye colour.
All the Garmau and Zanemau stuff indeed gets a bit weird if Vylad is Aphmau’s brother; I’m not denying that, but the other most accepted theory for Aphmau’s brother is Ein… sooo it could be worse?
Ein is also related to my next point, which is obviously that Jason addressed this in the Everything Wrong With When Angels Fall video and confirmed Ein was not Aphmau’s brother. Now I’m not saying that Ein wasn’t supposed to be Aph’s brother, but then Jess changed it bc she realised it was weird. And maybe it was gonna be Ein asp, but they retconned it; idk, the point is it's not Ein anymore.
Additionally, we know Aphmau still has a brother because his existence was referenced when Jess was trolling the fans with the Mermaid Tales cast list a while ago.
With all that cleared up, I’ll get into why I think it IS Vylad.
The timeline makes sense.
It’s not a stretch to say that Zianna and Zack knew each other because clearly they would, right? Not only were Zianna and Sylvanna best friends, but Zack was working with Garte, so they were already in each other's orbit.

Vylad is canonically a year younger than Aphmau and was only in the same school year as her because he was moved up a grade. So Zack cheating and then having Vylad with Zianna AFTER Aphmau was born makes more sense in my mind.
(Not related but I also found out Vylad took fencing lessons and that’s amazing)
3. Why isn’t Vylad a werewolf then?
He doesn’t need to be. Aphmau wasn’t one before Aaron turned her.
4. Why did Sylvanna and Zianna stop talking?
In the PDH Episode “Cool Moms”, Sylvanna and Zianna both confirm they haven’t spoken in years and have just recently reconnected. If Zianna and Sylvanna were such good friends, then why did they go so long without contacting each other? They don’t mention any kind of fallout between them, so maybe they just grew apart, or maybe it was Zianna deciding to distance herself from Sylvanna out of guilt after giving birth to Vylad.
Zianna doesn’t specifically mention exactly how many years it’s been since they talked, but it must have been many because their kids all only have vague memories of each other. And that’s after their mothers remind them that they played together as kids when they lived in the same neighbourhood.
This series already had SO MANY characters; is it really smart to add another one? Especially when you have a beloved character on standby that hasn’t had any major plot lines that contradict this new lore you’ve come up with.
Okay, so we know the woman that had an affair called Sylvanna and explained the situation, which means for this to be plausible… Zianna came clean to Sylvanna, goddamnit.
This is fine. I can work with this.
Them not talking for years still makes sense because of course Sylvanna would cut Zianna off after finding out. But then why did they get back into contact?? What caused that?
Well, we also know that Zack had escaped Michael’s dimension by PDH and was repeatedly calling Sylvanna in hopes of seeing Aphmau… So maybe after getting a call from Zack, Sylvanna reaches out to her old friend to see if Zack had contacted her as well, and when Zianna says she hadn’t, the two decide to catch up and try being friends again.
7. When did Zianna cheat?
It says on the wiki that Zianna cheated on Garte “during an unhappy period in Garte and Zianna's marriage, where Zianna cheated on Garte due to feeling a lack of love” and imo I’d totally believe that unhappy period lines up with Garte literally having his son experimented on.
I doubt Zianna knew what he was doing to Garroth but man that would’ve been an awful time for her either way.
“Goodbye Zianna I’m off to go to my job that I can’t tell you about with our son who I will not tell you the reason why I’m taking him.”
8. Full circle moment (back to the green eyes)
When I was looking at Zianna’s wiki page to check what episodes she’d been in I noticed this.
