how is this funny? this is really sad. All the male athletes have to do is perform well in their sport (which is what matters), and they’ll be taken seriously and respected. But women have to not only do that, but also be sufficiently “pretty” in order to be respected. And she knows this, to the point where she won’t show her NATURAL face even after such a big achievement because of the pressure women face to be dolled up and beautiful at all times. It’s massively fucked up and I don’t understand how anyone could ever think this is funny.
