Come join the Strawhats we have:
an asexual, who treats the laws of physics as suggestions;
a swordsman who loves putting things in his mouth;
the lesbian they'd both be literally lost without;
a paradoxically attractive bisexual with a girl back home;
a dude who spent 2 years literally running from his sexuality;
a literal reindeer;
hot and smart cishet autistic woman;
a trans allegory;
queer elder (with cane-sword)
someone's activist uncle.
Hm. Derek’s involuntary dog behaviours when fully transformed:
Scratch a specific spot behind his ear and his back leg starts kicking involuntarily
The long, quiet, throat growl followed by a soft “… woof”
Zoomies. Especially in enclosed, indoor spaces.
He sneezes when he gets excited (if u own a dog u know exactly what I’m talking about)
He will lick ur legs once u get out of the shower. Human Derek has no explanation.
He is a big boy and therefore has lap dog syndrome (except it’s almost always on Stiles’s lap).
It’s only happened once, but if he sees Stiles for the first time in a while while fully shifted, he’ll start wagging his tail and whining as he commences the Big Sniffining.
Must eat grass.
That’s it that’s the post.
this is from the 2000’s btw
Looks like @staff mistakenly censored this comic, which is an ironic and very funny thing to happen
Here it is again. You might want to save it just in case an accident like that happens again
EDIT: HMM. LOOKS LIKE OP WAS BANNED TOO. WHAT A FUNNY. IRONIC. ACCIDENT
Compiled some basic information I know about drawing fat characters for beginners since I've been seeing more talk about absence of really basic traits in a lot of art lately.

A frustrating part of the mainstream vegan “love all animals and protect the environment” mindset is the fact that things need to die in real-life ecology all the time but deer hunting season makes icky feelings and carp culls aren’t cottagecore
The vegan “any animal death ever is morally wrong” mindset doesn’t hold up when:
We don’t have any of the large predators we used to (black bears, mountain lions, or gray wolves) but still retain large deer populations. If nothing is removing animals, they’ll quickly overload the carrying capacity of the environment and have massive losses to starvation and disease that can also pass on to livestock. Human hunters replace the large predators that our landscape can no longer support.
It’s kinder to euthanize an un-releasable hawk rather than try to find it a permanent home with humans. Wildlife rehabs have extremely limited space and resources and are usually run entirely on donated money and volunteer time. Only a few are large and stable enough to care for permanent residents long-term, and those spots are few and far between.
An invasive species poses a danger to threatened native wildlife. I will admit- Australian possums are adorable. But not in New Zealand, where they’re an invasive species that eats the eggs of ground-dwelling birds that previously had no such predators. The landowners I worked with replanting native bush, all native Maori, had no qualms about setting the dogs on them.
I don’t know how to end this except. Sometimes things just gotta die and acting otherwise just isn’t a realistic expectation.
Highlights from the notes over the past 6 months include a lot of angry vegans saying “you’re blowing things out of proportion, no vegans actually think like this!” and a lot of people who work in conservation and education saying “Every day. I have to fight people who think like this.”
As a bonus this post was originally inspired by the vegan who called me racist for saying we should kill invasive species

i just can't believe that oda fucking create sanji, a stereotypical ladies man who simps to an embarrassing degree for women while having his hackles comically raised around everyone he perceives as a man - and most notably butting heads with the more obvious ~manly man~ of the crew. haha, classic anime running gag, the kind that gets obnoxious at times but still makes you laugh.
AND THEN, like a billion chapters later, motherfucker steeples his fingers and goes "soooooooo... what makes a person Like That?"
and the answer is that he grew up in fucking Toxic Masculinity, The Kingdom. the answer is that he was always Different, in a way other guys instinctively perceived as weak, and that made him the target of visceral scorn and violence. the answer is that he was sensitive, sweet, caring, nurturing - feminine-coded traits which are only valued by patriarchy insofar that they're performed by women in service of men. the answer is that in a kingdom comprised almost entirely by violent men, the only ones who were ever kind to him, the only safety he ever had, were a girl and a woman.
so cooking is for women and servants, it makes you less of a man. only women will ever really value you for your passions and dreams. women are also actively hurt by the way the world works, they are unsafe unless they comply with men's violence, and you have to protect them.
(men will always know what you are, and they will hurt you if you let them.)
and even after he leaves... at baratie he is cherished and respected, but even that is an extremely masculine environment. we don't talk about our feelings, we don't let our guard down, the only love is tough love. when he tries to express his artistry and express himself through his cooking, rather than just filling orders and making money, he gets mocked.
so here is a man who will not raise a hand to a woman, because he rejects the masculinity he was raised with and refuses to become yet another man subjecting women to violence. he is desperate for women's attention and affection because it's SAFE, it's the only kind he can trust. other men are potential threats and must be treated as such. he must at all times be snarky, tough, Not Feminine, because to be perceived otherwise is to be powerless, to be hurt.
like y'all. the queer coding of it all? the overtly feminist themes? the active rejection of toxic masculinity and the way it's shown to be directly tied to imperialism? what the fuck.
every time i see a "sanji is a straight man, he loves women and hates men" comment on fanart or a headcanon i need those people to understand that not only do people have personalities separate from their sexuality but sanjis backstory is the perfect recipe for severe internalized homophobia.
nobody considers that, apart from not trusting men period, if he were to find one attractive? thats against everything he knows and he feels the need to actively act aggressive toward them so nobody gets any ideas. theres no way you can determine a fictional character's sexuality because there's always multiple ways to interpret behavior and how the hell are you going to know if they're actively hiding something?
and, one more time for the cishets, you don't know the queer experience, so you can't identify it! gay people are not all stereotypes! headcanoning characters as queer or having explicitly queer characters does not take away from your enjoyment of a media!
if it does, theres something much deeper wrong with you <3

The haunting ancient Celtic carnyx being played for an audience. This is the sound Roman soldiers would have heard their Celtic enemies make.
Man if I heard that shit while descending upon a strange land with my brethren I'd straight up dig a hole to die in right the and there, fuck the emperor fuck the gods that's a warning straight from the bones of an older evil and whatever is coming is worse than death
Going to reblog something incredibly horny and having to stop myself "YOU'RE NOT A FUCKING PORNBLOG YOU HAVE COMPLETELY NORMAL MUTUALS, INCLUDING ASEXUAL ONES"
but also hehe porn
On the other hand, it's genuinely, and honestly, wonderful when I reblog an absolutely fucking degenerate post and I see a mutual, who I've never interacted in a horny context with, fucking likes it or, even better, reblogs it.
I cannot stress enough that being open about your sexuality with others is incredibly fucking healing and I'm so glad I have a lower filter now. Every time I see one of these mutuals do this, it genuinely makes me so fucking happy. Honestly.
A lot of people keep reblogging this fundamentally misunderstanding what I'm saying, so allow me to clarify.
BE HORNY ON MAIN

I like seeing people’s horny posting
Even if it’s really not my thing I’m like they seem to be having a good time
And there’s something weirdly intimate and beautiful about learning what someone likes even though you have no sexual connection. Like oh this mutual posts buff guys with chest hair and erections showing through their expensive athletic underwear and this one types about lesbian bdsm and this other one is just obsessing over 1 fictional couple. And im over here like i have no involvement in this but it’s good for the humors. My chakras have been aligned
