Syluss and Destiney finally tied the knot!

Looking for RP Contacts

Hello friends!

I’m looking for roleplaying contacts that might have an interest or current employment in elements of what could be considered the wedding industry. I’m creating a roleplaying venue on Balmung that will function as a destination for weddings and wedding-themed RP. With the sanctum weddings capped by a time limit, I thought a venue dedicated to this might be desirable. Coupled with a love for helping to plan and coordinate in game weddings, this seemed like a perfect solo venture for me to try out.

I plan to create a directory of sorts to give to clients that might connect them with professionals in fields such as the following:

Catering

Baking

Jewelcrafting

Dressmaking

Floral

Photography

Officiants

You do not need to join an FC to get involved, nor do I envision it taking much effort on anyone’s part. Essentially, prospective clients would have a brief OOC discussion with me where I’d ascertain which parts of the wedding planning they’d like to RP and then I’d try to help pair them with people to do that RP. I see it as a win, win. This would enable people who play artisans to get some industry specific RP as well as to help making IC weddings more meaningful and special.

This idea is in the planning stage, so I’m just trying to drum up interest for now. Perhaps you could help by reblogging? ♥

Update: we still need officiants! Do you have a character that would perform specialized wedding/bonding ceremonies ICly? Especially interested in:

Dedications to Patron Deities

Halonic officiants

Tribal officiants

Poke me here or on discord Oleandre (Dustin)#5850 if you’re interested! It would be great to see a small writing sample of a ceremony you’d provide to make sure we don’t have a ton of overlaps stylistically.
