see the THING IS I don't feel like I ever worked hard enough to have "earned" the burnout, which is. probably how we got here.
i can't do this anymore! i mean i can, and i will, obviously. but i can't fucking do this anymore!
Glorfindel wears mistletoe in his hair everywhere in hopes of getting a smooch from Ecthelion who is more than happy to oblige would never fall for such a cheap trick oh no..
bonus:
10 minutes later, and Glorf is still stunned.
MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU GUYS <3
The Nolofinwëans see the moon rise for the first time. From left to right: Fingolfin, Argon, Aredhel, Idril, Turgon, Fingon. Turgon wants everyone to hold hands because this beautiful sky thingy seems like a blessed sign from the Valar (and oh fuck they can now see mountains so they must be close to actually land!) Also the sea-green cloak he has is for sure Finrod's. He saw his cousin wasn't caring for himself after Elenwë's death and wanted to keep him from freezing. Also I totally should have painted Lalwen with them, but forgot her until I was several layers in. Tolkien forgot her too though, so I guess it's okay?
Second pic to show size. Though it now looks like Argon is pointing out the most useless bit of American currency. Thanks dude!

So. I drew that âArthurâs fished out of the lakeâ au of mine
edit: yes I know that boats like that likely wouldnât fish on a lake, and that where avalon should be isnât really a lake anymore - I promise I know this đ - the imagery of Arthur being fished out of a lake in a net was just too hilariously powerful đ
the line between not going out as an act of self-care and not going out as a symptom of depression is but a gossamer thread

People are interpreting my âfeeling embarrassed at the bakeryâ post so literally and seriously, as âThe French are terrifyingly judgemental and love to bully and humiliateâ and thatâs how you know these people are not chronic worriers. My fellow stressed people are in the notes like âI feel you, this is me and the Threatening Stationery Shop.â I mean that post was just my internal monologue as a perpetually nervous person who tends to feel defeated by normal social interactionsâthe baker didnât say anything mean, just corrected me when I got a bread name wrong, the rest was my brain filling in the blanks with fear of inadequacy and I Must Get A Good Grade In Buying Bread. So many people in the notes are like âthis is why I can never go to Franceâ but that one time I went into a Starbucks in the US I found the place to be a reservoir of agonies, I promise I would feel every bit as judged and woeful buying bread in your country, it wasnât a post about being French it was a post about being anxious!
