Luna. 38. She/Her. MDNI. A Sims 4-based (mostly) story Simblr. I used to write exclusively occults-centric/dark-themed stories (which you can go back on my blog and read, they're still there!), now I'm trying my hand at a semi-realistic, slice-of-life, dramatic royalty-based story featuring a mix of premades and OCs. I also run a cyberpunk-themed simblr over at @2080sims if you're interested in checking that out! Also adding here that I'm neurodivergent which means I might struggle with communication and socialization and also consistency: my ADHD brain tends to skip between things pretty quickly (if you can't tell by my last stories not being even remotely finished and some like not even started lol). I'm hoping to find/start a project I really want to put years and years into, I just struggle staying on task. Without further adieu*, onto the links section!
*Sorry for further adieu already, but Time Zone Reblogs for Decem Coronae are for actual story posts only and instead of being put here, they will be cross-posted to the dedicated story-only page over @decem-coronae (a sideblog for people who don't want to wade through all the other posts just to read the story itself.) I don't usually TZR anything at all ever, so I thought I'd let you know that that will be a thing going forward, although very limited. Now onto the links section.

(I became accustomed to my new life rather quickly, I'm not proud of it, but it kept me afloat-)
(Antonio and Vlad wasted no time in putting me to work. So much had happened in those first few months alone, I wouldn't be able to tell you every single crime I committed.)
(And the ones that I do remember, well... let's just say those were the worst ones.)
Antonio:... A job well done. Now, onto the next-
(I was constantly on the move, often times traveling outside the country... When Antonio told me to jump, I asked how high. It's just the way business went.)
[chatter and laughter]
[abrupt awkward silence]
Apollo: Erm... Good afternoon, everyone-
Antonio: Apollo.
Antonio: Everyone, I'd like you to meet Apollo Klein, my newest associate.
Apollo: Nice to meet yuh.
Antonio: Make yourself at home, we're about to start another round of poker.
(And make no mistake, the mutual dislike of one another was very well understood. We tolerated each other, but just enough.)
(I started out with smaller jobs... loan sharking, extortion, intimidation...)
Enzo: You piece of fucking shit. I told you this would happen. Where is he!?
[gurgling]
[continues to gurgle]
Enzo: What was that again? I can't hear you!
Apollo: Fuck's sake, Lorenzo. Let me handle this.
Enzo: [scoffs] Go ahead then! Let's see you try then!
Apollo: Get the fuck up! Where's Alma?!
Captive: [scared] H-he's [pause] in M-M-Mexico-!
Apollo: Where in Mexico?!
Captive: I-I c-c-can't [breathe]
Apollo: If yuh don't tell me, I'll snap your neck in half
Captive: He's in- in C C-Ciudad Enamorada!
Captive:[groaning]
Apollo: [stands up] See? How hard was that?
Enzo: Oh come on, he only said something because you were about to kill him!
Apollo: Nuh, skill issue on your part, bruv. Next time, let the pros handle it.
Enzo: Ma vaffanculo!!! [Go fuck yourself!!]
Apollo: Yeh, yeh. Back at yuh.
(Not long after, I found myself committing armed robbery and larceny)
[fires gunshots, screaming ensues]
Apollo: Everyone get on the ground!!!
Apollo: Don't. Move.
Teller: Please don't shoot.
Apollo: Do as I say, no one gets hurt.
Apollo: All of it. In the bag.
Teller: A-All of it?
Apollo: Did I fockin' stutter? YES, ALL OF IT!
(Eventually I was promoted to smuggling contraband, gun running, drug dealing...whatever you want to call it-)
Carlo: Right this way-
Carlo: Sergio! Buonasera!
Carlo: That's our delivery guy, you'll be working with him when we get new shipments.
Apollo: What do we have here...
Carlo: Grazie. Antonio's waiting for you inside.
Carlo: Apollo, bring what you can down to the basement.
Apollo: ... Antonio just has these lying around...?
Carlo: No. Majority will go to our other associates. Mostly to cartel members. I have a contact in Italy who will take them overseas.
Carlo: But he does keep a stockpile. Which is also why I brought you down here-
Evan follows Toni through a series of doors until they end up in a field. In the distance, he can see an old farmhouse.
It shouldn’t be beautiful here.
The grass sways like it’s alive, whispering secrets he can’t quite hear. His thoughts drift to Jayden and how he would have loved to paint the muted colors. The fields seem to go on forever.
He feels small.
Lost.
Determined—like this place was meant to break his resolve. He squares his shoulders, reminding himself he didn’t come here to die but to save Jayden. To bring him home alive.
“Careful now,” Toni warns, her tone low. “Let’s just see what we’re working with. It’s a Harper-Strange Family motto: Don’t rush where the wands won’t carry.”
They creep through the field, keeping to the tall grass so they stay hidden. Suddenly, Toni flings out her hand, bringing them to a stop.
Evan looks over to see what caught her attention and has to swallow a scream as Toni yanks him down to the ground. Three women, their eyes alarmingly blank, disembodied hands holding their hair in every direction, lounge by the well as a skeleton approaches. Despite the cheerful design of their clothing, they are covered in blood.
“Darling Lizzy, is your father about?” They ask, their voices acting as a chorus.
The skeleton stiffens. “He’s training his army today.”
“His?” They all tilt their head at the same time. The effect is eerie. “What a curious choice of words.”
The skeleton folds her arm and lifts her chin. “Well, like I said, he's not here. But if you want to talk to my mum—”
The three women lurch back, a hiss on their lips. “We don’t deal with Bonehilda. Tell your mother to send word to Algea. He is needed at the Apparitional Baths. Rumor has it, The Determined is coming, and we are eager to start the ritual.”
“You’re eager to eat,” Lizzy huffs.
“Same difference.”
“And don’t you call him Algea. That name is for family and friends. He’s Agony to you.”
“All the same, pass on our message,” the women say.
The three of them set off down the path. They pass by the grass, seemingly engrossed in their conversation, but their heads swivel every which way, the hands in their twisting and twirling as if petting them.
Oh God, they’re close. Too close.
Evan presses himself flat against the ground. Toni’s fingers are steady—his are shaking.
How is she calm? How is she not screaming? He swallows hard.
I can’t die here. Not before I save Jayden.
He squeezes his eyes shut. I'm doing this for you, Jayden.
They stay still, listening to the sound of footsteps retreating.
“You can come out now,” Lizzy calls. “They’re gone.”
For a moment, Evan can’t make his limbs work. Every blade of grass felt like a warning.
Every shadow felt like a hand reaching for him. Everything within him was shouting at him that he shouldn’t be there. That he wasn't meant to be there. But then—he’d walk through worse if it meant saving Jayden.
But Toni, seemingly fearless, steps out. “You knew we were here, huh? Why not mention it?”
Lizzy frowns, at least as much as a skeleton can frown. “I don’t trust the Erinyes even a little. They are their own creature. And mum said we should be prepared for strange visitors when Ghost God returns.”
Evan clears his throat. “Is that the God of Death?”
Lizzy nods. “That’s the name you call her. But to the Dead and the denizens of the Netherworld, she’s Ghost God.”
Evan debates asking his next question because it’s undoubtedly risky. But then again, nothing risked, nothing gained. “What do you know about the ritual?”
“For The Determined?” Lizzy shakes her head. “Not much. Last time the God of Death passed such a judgment was before I was born.”
“Anything you know might be helpful,” Evan presses. “You said you weren’t born yet. But you didn’t say you hadn’t heard stories. I have kids. I know they listen when they aren’t supposed to. Please… even a half-heard story could help.”
Lizzy glances toward the house. “I…I did hear some things. Once The Determined arrives, the ritual has to start. No one can stop it, not even the God of Death herself. Either way, it’s clear who you are. You can’t outrun the judgment, and I can’t help you any further.”
“There’s really nothin’ else you can tell us?” Toni raises a brow. “Is that how your mama raised you?”
At the mention of her mother, Lizzy sighs. Her hollow gaze finds Evan. “Are you an honest man?”
If I tell her the truth, will she turn away? Will she see me as selfish? Desperate? Foolish?
He swallowed hard. What was the right answer? All he knew was that he was honest in his love for his husband. That he would do anything to save him, and that was a truth he could stand on. “Yes, I believe I am.”
“Good. Stay that way. There is nothing the Erinyes hate more than a liar. And if you fail, you’ll become their next meal.”
Evan falters. “What? What am I supposed to do then?”
A voice calls for Lizzy. She runs for the steps, but pauses before ascending. “Get yourself a good lawyer. That’s my best advice. My brother Bryan knows more. He’s working today, but you might find him at the River Styx Station.”
Rolling her shoulders, she hurries the rest of the way up the stairs and disappears into the house.
“We’ll do that,” Toni calls back and motions to Evan. “Come on. I know where that is. Let’s go.”
For a minute, Evan is consumed by doubt.
I’m so in over my head.
Is this place going to eat me alive before I even get a chance to save him?
Cassandra: I’d love to stay longer but Don has work and I'm meeting the girls before class. Sorry again about the tree.
Cornelia: Oh dear, don’t worry a bit. I’ll just have to get a real one this year.
Gunther: You ain’t bringing no damn evergreen in this house Nelly. You’re out your damn mind.
Cornelia: He still believes he has a choice after all these years— precious.
Ate: NGL, it was a gas station chimichanga and it was damn good lol I’m not technically supposed to have it, but oh well. I regret nothing.
Bought: Diet Cokes … and the gas station chimichanga lol
Movie I saw: I do not even remember. Last movie I saw in theaters was Wicked Pt. 1. I'm more of a long Youtube video girly than a movie buff these days.
Place I traveled to: The ER (I’m okay lol! Had an extremely bad reaction to some medicine I was prescribed, but seriously everything’s good now.)
Person I texted: My mom
Book I read: It’s not technically a whole book but I re-read the Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe for story purposes! I renamed the Montys in my story save to the Montresors and I went back to double check if Montresor was the guy that bricked the other guy up in the wall or the guy that got murdered lol It was the murderer and I was pleased by the reference given that Juliette might want her place in the Capp dynasty back… 👀 (Spoiler? Not Spoiler? The reference might become very relevant… we shall see.)
Thing I searched on the internet: Hoapili Household Sims 4 Wiki. Still working on my story as you can see! Naturally the chieftainess-in-name-only (according to the pre-written lore) Keala is getting her proper frickin Queendom and will pass the dynasty/crown down to her granddaughter Lia. (Not a spoiler! I’m going to reveal ALL the royals eventually lol It’s just a very long setting-up process.)

CHAPTER II. Palace Grand Entryway & Rear Parlor. The first sight that greets visitors, residents and staff when stepping through the doors of Gammelborg is the palace’s Grand Entryway. Originally constructed as the nation’s first fortified stone keep in 1144, Gammelborg later underwent severe renovations in the 18th century after most of the interior and the original stonework had been decimated following the Jacoban-Peteran Secession War with Windenburg. Many of the changes that turned the ruins of an ancient keep into a proper palace during the reign of King Magnus VI (1757-1783) are still maintained and proudly displayed to this day. The rear parlor near the castle’s posterior door serves as an informal tea room for the King and Queen when meeting with senior members of Palace staff.
