“Make sure she doesn’t screw him over. He’s too good for that,” the prince said shortly. This whole conversation was getting less and less fun. Chad started to wonder if maybe he should just stay home.

“I suppose it is nice having options..” he grinned. The grin didn’t match the tone, but he moved along quickly. “What do you get yourself up to now, anyways? Tutoring, was it?” In his mind a fair amount of the Isle kids could use some instructing. They didn’t seem all too bright.

Chad was perched upon the edge of a bench, looking as pretty as he normally did. A light breeze ruffled through his curly blonde hair. In short, he was looking stereo-typically prince like. He caught sight of someone nearby and flashed them a winning smile.

A frustrated scowl appeared on his face. He wasn’t getting the information he wanted out of her. Or maybe he was and hearing that Doug seemed happy with Evie was what was bugging him. He didn’t know. All he knew is he wished these kids had never come from the Isle and gotten in between him and his friend. It was like he barely ever saw Doug anymore when formerly they had seen each other all the time.

“Chad, not Chaddie, jeez,” Chad said, making a face at the nickname. “I don’t always cheat, do give me some credit.” He sat himself next to his sister, and eyed her paper. “Do..uh, y’want any help?” 

A wave of guilt had swept over the young man, it wasn’t a feeling he felt often, and he didn’t like it. He made a silent vow to try and pay more attention to what was going on in her life.

Nikki was really trying not to let anything at Auradon Prep get to her. Not her brother’s reputation amongst a fair number of people, not her brother in general, and certainly not that her own family was overlooking her in favor of Evie’s fashion designing.

Which, y’know, would be because Nikki had been sewing since about the time she could hold things.

Really, she loved her brother. Not very bright, but then, neither was she, and he was still family, no matter how he might have treated others.

Still, there was a lot… there was a lot of her that sometimes wished he’d remember he even had a little sister around. Like now, for example– a time where AP felt pretty isolating and she was alone.

Forcing herself to focus back on the task at hand, she ponders her homework quietly, making a face at it.

Chad had the bad habit of getting caught up in whatever was his interest of the moment and ignoring everything else. Usually the whatever was Audrey, Doug or himself. He also wasn’t ever the nicest person around, and came of as unintelligent, even though he could do things when he tried. But he was a prince, so he didn’t have to try.

At this particular moment he wasn’t thinking about anything in particular, and opted to go visit his sister. Which wasn’t something he normally did. Mostly because he never wanted to step foot into that school again.

“Heya Nikki! What are you doing? Is that homework? Eww.”

“It is very well my business when she’s dating my lifelong friend,” Chad retorted. “And I have absolutely no interest in her, it’s Doug I’m...worried about.” The Charming had a long held friendship with the bespectacled guy in question, and did not like in the least that his former closest friend now had no time for him. Not when he had so few true friends in the first place. Not to mention, a solid, deeply hidden, very old crush on him.
