your identity as an introject deserves to be taken seriously and with respect. this includes when you have multiple sources, especially when those source combinations may not make sense to an outside perspective. you are so much more than what people may perceive of you, and being respected for who you are is not something you should have to earn.

whenever I see fictionkin/fictive blogs of some character I drew liking said art I always point and say 'it's The character!' in my head. The ultimate approval for me.
Our management is really active lately because of yeahhh.
Simply Plural was the easiest way for us to set stuff up ig.
I mean I guess we can make it easier on ourselves by maybe dusting off our Neocities... We kind of got burnt out because we're not good at coding. The best we can do is mess with HTML5 a little bit. Like we know there's ways to learn its just... The info doesn't stick with us in full. Like we know vaguely how to do some stuff, we know how to do images in basic HTML.. But we also struggle to remember sometimes.
So having a service like SP was helpful. It didn't require us to know how to do stuff.
We could do physical stuff but we love doing digital, as detrimental as that is ^^;;
(I mean what do you expect from a system of digital-based beings? It's like home to us haha)
That and.. Not publicly out. We wouldn't have a huge risk of family finding a notebook, but it feels like we'd somehow end up unfortunately being figured out if we had smth physical unless well hidden...
This all sucks. Ugh.
psst for those looking for alternatives to SP for tracking headmates and who are considering spreadsheets, here's an idea on how to format it:
some extra fields to add might be formation date, birthday, last known front (certainly not a replacement for front tracking, i know, but it's better than nothing at least), and more. we also use comments to add extra information that doesn't necessarily fit otherwise (eg, expanding further on roles in the role section; adding extra info in the name section; etc).
(we'll have to find a way to allow us to find our profile pictures through here, preferably without using an online service, but once we figure that out, hopefully this will be much safer and more reliable than PK. if anyone has any ideas on how to do that, please let us know!)

Uhm. This is a bad start to my post lol.
If you're someone, like us, who prefers to not use the alternatives (Octocon, Ampersand) and would LIKE to use a spreadsheet but don't have an idea or the like on where to start with it/just want a template to make it a liiiittle bit easier to get stuff documented elsewhere... And you also want some form of rudimentary documentation of fronting, well I used my (very very VERY admittedly rusty (it's been a full fucking decade since I've had to properly delve into spreadsheets...) skills) effort or what have you to make a sort of quick-and-dirty template.
It's not perfect, most likely. Because I, again, have not used spreadsheets personally in a decade... But something is better than nothing, yeah?
Below is what our front spreadsheet looks like, as well as a very basic overview of our processes info. I used myself as example along with some default placeholder text.
(Please don't mind that we use the word process, that is what our headmates or other system members are called.)
And here is what the blank spreadsheets will come as, that you can customize if you like.
Below the cut are a few images/explainations of how we did some things for customization if anyone struggles with that stuff. I know we do and it took a hot second to refresh ^^;;
To make the columns a different color, you just select a column, then click the paint bucket tool on the topbar, and select a color you like.
We chose a pink, as our main colors are pink & black.
To change the colors of the pronouns, or add/remove pronouns in this field, you want to click the little arrow in the row indicated by the bright blue box. Once you do, the dropdown menu in the example photo will pop up. To access the ability to edit the pronouns & the like, you will click the pen in the highlighted orange box.
Once you do, you will see this show up on the right of your screen (if you are on PC)
Clicking the colored swatches next to the fields will let you change the color, and typing in the boxes will let you change the pronouns. You can add or remove as many pronouns as you like with this.
If you wish to use icons/images for your members, you will want to click the button at the top labeled "Insert" (make sure you are selected on the row you want to insert the image on!!)
When highlighted over, the "Image" option, you'll want to use "Insert image in cell" to get it in the row you want. Once you do, you will have the option to upload from your PC/photos or use a link from wherever you go to host your icons (Imgur, Catbox, ect)
That SHOULD be everything... If I missed something please yell at us and we will try our best to help /genuine.
I will say there is something very validating about fanart being reblogged by a fictive or fictionkin of the character in question. Like FUCK yes I got a good grade in Sonic the Hedgehog-- I know this because Sonic the Hedgehog (real) liked it

Why is it always "Coin any gender as long as it isn't harming anyone!" But the second you coin one in the way people don't like suddenly they're down your dick on it and moaning about how it's morally bad. My man this is a non issue. You are complaining about self indulgent stuff for no reason. The images were already made, the metaphorical animal has already been made into consumable meat products. You cannot just take raw ground beef, shape it into a cow, and say it's alive again and that it's better now. Damage is done.
