Hey also we should care very much about what's happening with Lil Nas X btw. According to LA law, what he did (takin a walk in undies and cowboy boots) does not meet the requirements for indecent exposure and therefore does not warrant arrest. The claims that he charged officers were made without proper evidence such as body cam footage. If there is evidence, it has not been released to the public. Either way, his actions do not warrant four fuckin felonies including three counts of battery on an officer and one count of resisting an executive officer, especially considering that he was clearly having a mental episode (a fact which is also supported by his dad). Benefit of the doubt to the charges, an unarmed man is being wrongfully charged more than he should for alleged crimes committed in response to a non-crime. Realistically, he is facing these charges because he is a black queer man experiencing a crisis.
brennan when game changer wraps
not the first time he’s said this but he seems to be hard launching it now. can white people like say something now or
I’m not kidding I feel like people are not taking this seriously enough bc they think it won’t affect them and I need you to know that’s not acceptable. The constant mentions of remigration, ICE getting more budget than every letter agency and most other countries’ militaries, “the office of remigration”. They are planning an ethnic cleansing
Bpd isn’t entirely genetic and in another situation I wouldn’t be like this.
Repulsive
Big mood
what’s the mood for july?
Many lgbt teenagers and young adults growing up on the internet today have socially conservative beliefs that they voice at all times that they got from their conservative parents which they’ve never challenged because they think the life experience of being gay or trans makes them politically progressive
This is why I hate it when people say something homophobic and then go “so you’re really accusing me, a whole ass lesbian, of being homophobic 🙄” like yeah
Just because you’re part of an oppressed party does not mean you cannot hold bias against other groups or members of your own group. Bias is learned and ingrained through society and family and it takes real work to unlearn it. No one is perfect, no one is without bias and you are in fact going to fuck up now and again—what matters is if you learn from it and grow.
this is what people are talking about when they say "do the work"
i drew this little friend and i dont know what he is but i love him
Don’t worry, friends. Little guy is ok.
he doesnt have arms to drink that tea that is a threat in disguise
goodbye small fucker
LEAVE HIM ALONE
I’m going to help train our friend, I won’t stand to see him take this abuse any longer
We’re taking it a bit slow because he’s still recovering, but his training is coming along nicely! You can do it, little guy!
looks like all that training is starting to pay off
I will resurrect many time with more strangth.
Revenge is sweet.
goodbye small fucker
I always love these because you get to see so many different art styles but holy fuck guys someone needs to get him a spikey hat or knights armour covered in razor blades
I love how every time I see this there’s a new addition
The saga continues
…You IDIOTS.
The only version I will ever reblog is this one
Flowey no
no mercy small fucker
After all this time fighting, the little guy and his enemy realized that it was all pointless. Since the beginning, the hate for each other had only make them stronger but by accepting their differences and learning to respect each other, they realized that they don’t have to keep being rivals, but perhaps something else.
even if their relationship may have started badly, the strong bond between them will last forever, by helping each others with what they lack and learning to accept that even if people have difference it would only make a world a more interesting place to be c:
Just the happy ending I needed
I FINALLY FOUND IT

The nation’s ultrawealthy are starting to lay low, according to their therapists, financial advisers, and real-estate agents.
Gosh.
Must be rough for them.
lmao
good.
There’s an easy way to fix it. You can start by doing good. That abandoned lot? You can make it a community garden. That underfunded school? You could give it a grant. You have the chance.
“He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew, or any other good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world. Some people laughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, and little heeded them; for he was wise enough to know that nothing ever happened on this globe, for good, at which some people did not have their fill of laughter in the outset; and knowing that such as these would be blind anyway, he thought it quite as well that they should wrinkle up their eyes in grins, as have the malady in less attractive forms.”
-Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
no, i don't think that's an easy way to fix anything, actually. though i'm all for wealth redistribution, i don't think we should be advocating for philanthropy. philanthropy keeps rich people rich & powerful while making them look good. it's a PR trick that lets them influence media, politics, healthcare, the school system, and basically anything else they choose, in a way that serves their own (economic) interests, with little to no oversight or accountability and without having been elected by anyone. it's not good.
all your supporting points for "philanthropy bad" are also supporting points for "being philanthropists benefits rich people more than being billionaires does", and therefore supporting points for "philanthropy is neither ideal nor a solution, but from a harm-reduction perspective, we should encourage it anyway, especially when doing so helps ensure change will stick"
like, to quote Wikipedia,
Andrew Carnegie[,] one of the richest Americans in history[,] became a leading philanthropist in the United States, Great Britain, and the British Empire. During the last 18 years of his life, he gave away around $350 million (equivalent to $10.9 billion in 2024), almost 90 percent of his fortune, to charities, foundations and universities.[6] His 1889 article proclaiming "The Gospel of Wealth" called on the rich to use their wealth to improve society, expressed support for progressive taxation and an estate tax, and stimulated a wave of philanthropy.
Carnegie devoted the remainder of his life to large-scale philanthropy, with special emphasis on building local libraries, working for world peace, education, and scientific research. He funded Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Peace Palace in The Hague, founded the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Carnegie Institution for Science, Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland, Carnegie Hero Fund, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, among others.
that's a shitton of institutions that have done a great deal of good, which, yes, could have come into being without being funded by a guy who preferred his name on buildings to his head on a pike, I suppose, but
and like, to quote @oudenonoma,
There is a Jewish story about a wealthy man who came to his rabbi and said “I have decided to build an orphanage, can you put me in touch with the relevant people”
The rabbi was delighted to do it, and introduced the man to some charities. After a few weeks, the man came back to the rabbi.
“I have decided not to build the orphanage,” he said. “I realised that I was only doing it because I wanted to be admired as a philanthropist, my motives were selfish.”
The rabbi answered, “do you think the orphans will care what your motives were? Build the orphanage!”
Going with this reblog because yes, correct and good, plus that post before, arguing "Philanthropy is bad because there's not enough oversight!" is literally letting perfect be the enemy of good. "Noooo, you can't let them do it themselves, it's not going to help the right people the right way enough!" I don't care. Help some people some. Reduce the burden on the overall system and withering over "Well, it's just a PR move" isn't fucking feeding anyone either, so get some priorities. Do you want to help people, or are you concerned that someone will tell a rich person "good job" for philanthropy that you think wasn't as efficient as you wanted it to be?
love talking and realizing no one gives a shit about what I’m saying 🫶🏼🥹 sorry I’m boring everyone I’m really trying
my door being open is not a fucking invitation for you to stand in the doorway, look into my room, and observe it like is that not weird to you?????????
My room is filled with hobbies I used to love, but now they're just collecting dust because depression stole the joy out of them. And I keep wondering when, or if, I'll ever feel that spark again for the things that used to make me happy.
