Dear SF,

The majority of my life I've been cynical towards you. As a kid I hated how busy you were all day and all night. Deafening white noise, rude people and dirty streets, all I ever saw was the bad side. As a teenager I was robbed, shoved and yelled at by random people and I always wondered why anyone would live in such a place.

In retrospect, I've come to realize there cannot be a beautiful city without faults. At the end of the day, I am responsible; it was my choice(fault) what I saw. I wish as a kid I chose to see you as the city of opportunity.

The city of love. With a skyline that would make your heart skip a beat.

Thank you for making me tough, showing me how to forgive and teaching me how to be respectful.
