Don't respond to them. Block them instead and move on. They're trying to break in because all the news and everything has been going our way instead of theirs. Do not engage with them since that's what they want us to do; starve out their flames instead.

Stay kind. Show that love can conquer hate. Keep up with the boycott if you're doing it. Focus on the charities involved. And if you're feeling overwhelmed, drink some water and step away from the screen for some time. It'll be okay, there's a lot more of us than them here.

Can I be honest, I know GRR has had nothing to to with this season but the way Targaryen supremacists are being portrayed and part of the fandoms reaction to them being just ignoring that fact make me worry about the Aegon's Conquest movie because they have to be very careful to not accidentally state conquering is ok especially in this day and age.

Especially because of Dorne and how abysmal media has portrayed them until now

You know I love how as a fandom, we have come together and sort of reclaimed (is that the right word) Valko! Like he may not be my main (Zayne you will never be in danger) but I think that as a whole, I have come to love and appreciate Valko more because of what we are doing and the amazing fan creations.

Speaking of Zayne, I think if him and Valko were friends, and they may be according to that sus leak, then they would hang out and do the equivalent of wine tasting for chocolate.

Call it copium but I refuse to believe that any of this is close to being over. There are just too many facts that stand out and everything is so strange. I understand Infold hasn’t handled things well in the past and their rep was in the gutter before all of this. I’m not really expecting them to do “right” so much as…be consistent?

It’s the lack of commitment that intrigues me. If I was a CEO of a company and I canceled a major release, I would nuke it from orbit. Right? I mean. “He is cancelled” and then boom, he’s gone. Never existed. Remove everything and try to hope people forget about him ASAP (as …people do).

But nothing of Valko is deleted literally at all and it’s been over a week. Everything is still up, just hidden. Even with the removal of “coming soon” you can’t fuckin’ tell me the kitchen and illusio and photo booth require THAT MUCH space/memory. That’s absurd. He’s got to be in there, just inaccessible for the time being. His song was uploaded to a CN music app on July 6th. They CANNOT use that song for anything or anyone else. It’s HIS. There is no reason to keep it if he’s deleted. There’s no reason to keep it if he was going to be an NPC (which I don’t believe will happen regardless; he’s going to be in the game or not at all). They’ve canceled events I think for their own safety and safety of any cosplayers more than anything, so I’m not sure how much that aspect factors into all this. Still, it leans more in the direction of positive than negative. If they truly were going to just move on wouldn’t they prove it by showing up with only the 5 LIs? Hm.

I know I’m definitely feeling tired and low. The game is still deleted/uninstalled on my phone so you can bet I’m boycotting either forever or until Valko is added to the game. No offense to them, but I can’t even look at the other LIs right now. It’s not their fault. They’re great chars and I love their Problematique selves. I love that they exist and tickle someone else’s fancy, but until things change I can’t look at them the same. It’s sad.

Okay here are some things that give us hope right now.

- Valko’s trailers are still up on X, the only platform that doesn’t allow archiving of posts.

- His discord has been archived, not deleted.

- The hunters notice messages from his live stream is still in the game.

- His world underneath chapter is still there.

- His song is still up on Spotify.

- Caleb’s version update for his release was split into two parts and he came in part 2. They could be doing the same thing with Valko.

- Infolds silence isn’t voluntary. There is no way. They are losing more revenue by the day, they have fallen dramatically in the charts, their reviews have been absolutely bombed and the update is glitchy as fuck. They’re editing content behind the scenes to meet the ccp’s expectations and it’s obvious they rushed the update because of it.

- on top of the ccp breathing down their necks they are still being violently targeted and threatened by deranged “fans.” They won’t say anything until they have their shit sorted and it’s safe to do so.

- I saw some leaks about his story and if they’re true he is way more important to this story than we thought. Erasing him isn’t just company suicide, in fact I have no words to describe how stupid it would be.

There might be more Im forgetting but for now this is enough.

Yall know how I was all gloomy and depressed before? Yeah. Yeah screw that Im fucking fuming now. I don’t give a fuck about censorship. They don’t get to screw over their players and the people who made Valko and loved him like he was their child. I took a moment to process things and now I’m gonna keep fighting harder than before.

Ok I am not sure how true this is, but apparently it takes the CN government around 30 days to do these checks so while I refuse to play, I will still talk about it till end of July just to see what happens.

Maybe this is cope but I am technically not losing anything by doing so anyway

Valko not coming back isn't even the biggest issue. The fact that this happened AT ALL, along with the censorship and alterations is the issue. It means love and deepspace will never be made as originally intended. It means ideas will be discarded out of fear of angering people or the government.

It means art is dead guys. Love and deepspace is gonna hold back from now on.

Because if they can cancel Valko, what else are they gonna cancel?

Honestly I get the pressure they are under but the zero acknowledgement hurts. To people who hated him or do not care he has been removed, congratulations enjoy your censorship because do not get me wrong, there will be censorship, they already removed some of the stuff from the Catch 22 outfits apparently and good luck having spicy cards cuz we probably aren't seeing those anytime soon. Enjoy Rafayel story never being how it was supposed to be originally and Sylus and Caleb might get hit with censorship in their stories too.

As for me, I will miss seeing Zayne and Caleb but for now, I am done with the game unless something happens.
