“You must be the person you have never had the courage to be. Gradually, you will discover that you are that person, but until you can see this clearly, you must pretend and invent.”
— Paul Coelho
Mind Craft
Whether you know it or not, you design your mind. Other people help (and hinder), but you are the master craftsman of your world. You are the one who toils in the trenches, reacting and responding to everything as only you can. The outside world competes for your attention with a constant barrage of sensations, and you, moment by moment, make choices of where to aim your awareness. The choices are made so frequently and so fluently that they seem automatic. That unconscious choice shapes your mind just like the conscious choice, but it designs without designs, which makes you prone to more suffering. Nobody means to design a mind prone to suffering, but everybody does it. Fortunately, figuring out that you are the one in charge and then making a few conscious adjustments gives you the opportunity to create a mind you can live with...read more
“Do you ever forget to breathe? Every passing day feels like a repetition of every other day. You’re tired. You think it’s because you might be getting sick or maybe you don’t give your body the proper rest. But the truth is you’re just tired of reality. Your bones feel weak and your mind feels heavy because you want to get out of the expected. You want to fly to the moon and bring a piece of it with you. You want to fly to the sky at night and steal a star to light up your heart when it gets dark. Do you ever forget to breathe because you feel like you’re not really living, and your mind is always being swallowed by fear.”

Robert Downey Jr. has a much darker past, we have read it and we already know it, but he is hiding it from us doing an overly proud demeanor.
Chris Evans has anxiety and major commitment issues, he talks about it and we already know it, but he always has his radiant smile drawn on his face to hide from us.
Chris Hemsworth's family life was once at a risk of divorce with kids, but he and Elsa managed to keep it afloat despite all obstacles, and they are going for a happily ever after like nothing happened.
Jeremy Renner has done wrong in his past, caught into a false accusation, but now he has his daughter's custody and he lives a peaceful life, even without us knowing.
Scarlett Johansson, abused as a child actress, has to do romantic scenes with actors twice her age during her teenage, going marriage after marriage with her daughter, but yet scored a double Academy nominations and continues to be a role model for girls all around the world.
Tom Holland, with the pressure of rising to the fame as a child, he still continues to entertain the world even though his fans are somewhat childish and very intrusive.
Sebastian Stan, an immigrant who lacked social skills in the past, incredibly shy and yet hide all those from his fans because he knows that they all love him dearly.
Mark Ruffalo, continues to save the world by going against all those big companies as an environmentalist, has a really strong political opinion, but yet being so down to Earth around us.
Brie Larson, facing all backlash from the social media, for voicing her heartfelt opinion, still going on to inspire young girls around the world to stand up for themselves.
Last but not least, Chadwick Boseman, giving his best for 4 Marvel Movies (Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War and the Endgame) and 3 Non Marvel Movies (Marshall, 21 Bridges and Da 5 bloods) from 2016, while having stage 4 colon cancer, fighting until he was succumbed to the death. And we never knew.
Be nice and kind to everyone, not only in the various social media platforms, but also in the real life. Because we really don't know what is going in their lives.
Once you realise that, you maybe too late to even correct your mistakes. ❤🙏
“If you leave her, make sure she’s not the love of your life. Otherwise you will meet her one day, on an autumn street, yellow leaves blowing about her, her arms full of her child and a happy marriage. And she will as you expectantly, her eyes gleaming, hoping you found happiness too, “What did you trade me for?” And you will not be able to answer. Because all you traded true love in for is empty hands and a half full life.”
— Nikita Gill
“Yes, of course I’ve hardened, of course I have had to change to survive in this unforgiving world. But somewhere inside me, there still lives a little girl who once tried to invent a time machine, just to go back in time to save Vincent Van Gogh from his sadness when she heard he ate yellow paint to get the happiness inside him.”
— Nikita Gill
“To all the little girls out there, we will set fire to this world that steals your childhoods, rips away your choices and voices, and stops you from being everything you want to be, and build you a better one from the embers, the kind of world that treasures you for all your powerful capabilities.”
— Nikita Gill

“Someone once asked me what I regarded as the three most important requirements for happiness. My answer was: A feeling that you have been honest with yourself and those around you; a feeling that you have done the best you could both in your personal life and in your work; and the ability to love others.”
— Eleanor Roosevelt (via purplebuddhaquotes)
For years, I’ve been drowning my anxiety and depression into work. I saw several doctors but they said I had no reason to have anxiety so that must be temporary. It wasn’t. I worked more so I couldn’t have time to do nothing. Because doing nothing is overthinking. Doing a full comic book in 2 months beside my full time job ? No problem, I can handle it. Working on art shows and going to gigs during the weekends. No problem, I can handle it. I actually couldn’t. Doing my comic and my personal projects were no longer a pleasure. I burnt out. Suddenly, I couldn’t do anything. I spent days crying in bed without knowing why. Why couldn’t I just get up ? What was the point anyway ? My comic book was pointless. I was pointless.
I then remembered what Jonny from Hope For The Day said. “It’s okay not to be okay“. Asking for help is being strong. So I went to the doctor again.
