To the people complaining about the rumored extra Aurora screentime in Season 3 calling her 'weak' and 'useless':
She wakes up to her kingdom in ruins and the fact that everyone she has ever loved is pretty much dead.
She is both reunited with and loses Phillip - her prince, in the span of a day.
She tracks down the horses and Mulan - a trained warrior, mere hours after waking up.
She lays Phillip - her prince to sleep in the place built to essentially be her grave.
She steals a dagger from Mulan - a trained warrior, without her knowing.
She immediately has suspicions about Lancelot - the leader, when even Mulan - a warrior with trained instincts, still trusts him and her suspicions prove to be correct when the three others' are wrong.
She tracks down three women all of which have a large experience in tracking.
She ambushes Snow White - a woman who has a large experience in tracking and fending for herself.
She successfully runs away from an ogre in a dress and heels.
She struggles with trekking through the forest regardless she also refuses Emma's jacket.
She genuinely offers to help Snow White and Emma mere hours after trying to kill Snow.
She cries for the Haven residents despite only knowing them for two days at most.
She pulls Hook from the bodies.
She genuinely wants to trust Hook out of the goodness in her heart and when proven wrong, she still cares about his whereabouts albeit still distrusting.
She volunteers to climb the beanstalk so that Snow and Emma can get back to their family whether she lives or dies.
She endures a nightmare world every night.
She voluntarily goes into said nightmare world to help Snow and Emma despite how painful it is for her both physically and emotionally.
She has only suffered since she awoke but still sees life as a gift and is willing to do anything and everything to help others get back to what she has lost
She is captured by a fearful villain and doesn't show any fear or cowardice.
She refuses food from her captor in the rational fear that it is poisoned.
She knows that despite her own willingness to help Snow and Emma, she knows about even Cora that they wouldn't trade the compass - they key to their family - for her life.
When tempted with the return of her prince she still stands up to Cora and refuses, holding her loyalty to Snow and Emma - something Hook could never do.
She visibly fears death when believing Hook was sent to kill her but would willingly sacrifice her life for others.
She distrusts Hook when he tries to help her escape knowing his alliance has shifted.
She tracks down the three women again (presumably even) before Cora begins controlling her heart.
When it is discovered Cora has her heart, she voluntarily stays behind with the rational fear that Cora would make her act against them. She even willingly asks them to tie her up to ensure she will not escape and harm them.
All the above was just in the span of 8 episodes. Some characters have developed less in the span of 44.
All the above was just in the span of roughly a week after she woke up after over 28 years of slumber.
When Snow White was first thrust from the life of royalty, she adapted to forest life equally as if not less inexperienced than Aurora. When Snow first met Red in her early days, she was trying to be independent, she was innocent, naive and wanted to help others selflessly but was still fearful in the face of danger - whimpering when she heard a wolf's howl. It took her a period of time to adjust to forest life. Aurora was only awake for roughly a week.
Despite being awake for such a short amount of time, she can still track people who actually used to track for a living and for survival and equal instincts.
She may not be armed with weapons or fighting skills but she thinks things through when the others neglect or forget to. None of them thought to realize Aurora could be used against them. She didn't eat the food Cora offered her because she realized it could be poisoned. She wanted to climb the beanstalk so Snow and Emma's family wouldn't feel any loss in the chance of failure. She thought to track the horses down before Mulan so she would find her faster. She isn't physically strong but she is strategically.
And yet people still call her weak. Bloody peasants.
