“We warn Mr. Rodrigo Paz that, once he steps aside, we are not open to dialogue,” said indigenous leaders of La Paz, Bolivia. “We are not here to negotiate over the blo-d that has been spilled—much less over the human lives that have been lost—and this is something we will never, under any circumstances, negotiate. On the contrary, we stand firm, constantly coordinating with our blockade committees in the Camacho Province, and we urge our brothers and sisters at every blockade point not to let their guard down.”
