Andrealphus paused as Vassago spoke, his attention and gaze now directed at the prince. Everything he said was true, but it took him a moment to truly decipher the meaning behind it.
"How will I change the future?" he asked as his brow furrowed. He already knew what to do with the rest of his eternal life in terms of sustaining himself, but that didn't seem to be what Vassago was referring to. To Andre, the prince was referring to his earlier lament, and he knew then how to answer.
"Well, I know that I am in exile and cannot associate with the goetia for the rest of my existence," he began, pausing briefly to take a breath. "However, I have been wondering if it means I must be cut off from you, as well.
To be honest, I have wished for things to have worked out differently; to have returned your affections instead of turning you away to pursue a path that, ultimately, led me nowhere." He should have listened to Vassago back then and put his trust in the prince, but he hadn't and had regretted the move since his banishment. He had thought that the possibility of them being more was off the table completely, both because of his rejection and the fact that he was not permitted to associate with any goetia.
"And yet I find myself wondering if it's truly too late."
Vassago waited patiently as Andrealphus seemed to mull over his words and meaning. He continued smiling, simply enjoying how Andrealphus's mind seemed to work. Watching him in thought was always so fascinating, just to see where his thoughts would take him and what he'd say next.
He raised a brow at Andrealphus's words. \
'"However, I have been wondering if it means I must be cut off from you, as well.'
He hadn't expected Andrealphus to say something like that. He was never one to hide his own affections. Once upon a time, Stolas had been the one to receive such affection, but feelings were fleeting and no longer existed. Instead, he realized that the flamboyant and often irritating marquis was where his true affections lay. He had been so hurt by what Andrealphus had done to Stolas that he was sure his feelings would disappear, but they remained. There was a mortal saying he found all too true, 'Distance made the heart grow fonder.' He understood that sentiment. It was why he was here.
He smiled knowingly at Andrealphus, "Well, it just so happens that I can see the future. Would you like me to tell you what I see?"
"Then why don't we leave the rest of these plebeians behind and do something more exciting." He reached out to take Vassago's hand, fully intent on bringing him back to their room.
"Sí, mi amor," Vassago accepted Andrealphus's hand in his own, grinning brightly, "Let us have our own ball."
The kiss brought a light blush to his cheeks, and his smile became one of fondness for a moment before his usual smirk returned.
"Oh?~ I will make note of that," he said, tugging them forward and into the venue. Already a variety of couples were on the dance floor, and Andrealphus wasted no time in turning to Vassago.
"Shall we take to the dance floor? We wouldn't want to miss out on the fun, would we?~"
Seeing his lover at ease brought nothing but joy to Vassago. It was all he ever wanted for Andreaphus. He hated seeing the other so fearful of judgment or scorn for simply living. He liked to believe he was helping Andrealphus open up to possibilities. He couldn't be more pleased.
"Sería un honor para mí," Vassago took Andrealphus's hand and kissed the knuckles, bowing slightly as he looked up at Andrealphus. He smirked and tugged his lover to him, his arm around his waist and the other still holding his hand, "I will dance with you always."

"Is that an invitation, my dear?~"
"Siempre, cariño~ All you have to do is ask. Though, taking me by surprise works as well."
im working overnight this week. I promise, after Christmas, I will try to be way more active. I should be active at least tuesday night and Thursday night since I don't have to work.
He had been enjoying his time with Andrealphus over the last few days. Waking up to news of murders and then hours later, people are... singing? As far as anyone knew, the murderer was gone. He kept close to Andre out of concern and worry, but he tried his best to enjoy the rest of the evening. He honestly couldn't wait to return home, though.
"Qué baile tan lleno de acontecimientos."
Andrealphus returned his lover's smile, finding himself oddly at ease. He had been nervous at first to display any sort of outward affection or emotion toward Vassago, and the thought of finally being out and open with his new boyfriend had agonized him to no end. However, as time passed and they grew closer, Andrealphus was able to open and reciprocate little by little until he felt truly comfortable.
And now here he was, arm and arm with the one he loved the most and ready to announce it to all of Hell. The moment would have to had come eventually, and since it did, he wanted to do it on his terms: As flashy and as bold as possible.
"Agreed~ I do look forward to being in your arms, and showing everyone in there that you are mine."
He wouldn't lie; he was slightly worried that Andrealphus might be a bundle of nerves, but he seemed to be enjoying himself and didn't show too much worry or anxiety due to the publicity of their outing. The use of masks may have helped, but both were rather obvious.
Vassago grinned at his lover and leaned in, pressing a sweet kiss to Andre's cheek, "I will gladly fall in your arms if you want, mi cariño."
Once their hands connected, Alastor did his best to be smooth and charming. Nothing less for royalty. He wanted to make the best impression. And dancing was a specialty of his.
Guiding the other towards the dancefloor, he got into position. One hand held the other's hand, and another hand placed on the middle of the other's back. Close enough to dance, but not too close.
His feet carried them into a traditional dance, twirling and lots of footwork stepping to the groove of the music. It wasn't hard to keep up. Not when, back in his life, the music tempo was as similar as to this kind. So he was able to keep up.
"Are you enjoying your night so far?" He decided to ask, wanting to ease the awkwardness by making some type of conversation.
Vassago followed along with the other. He smiled and joined in on the dance with expert knowledge. He loved dancing, so there were a few dance moves he didn't know. Besides, this seemed pretty straightforward. It was no tango or samba.
He offered the other a pleasant smile, "I am, gracias. I am here with my partner, showing him off, so I find it quite fun. Though, he is off dancing with Lucifer. What an odd evening."
"¡Qué emocionante!" Vassago was excited. He loved a good party.
Drew the good boy. The best boy.
Well, this was a new experience. Dancing with a complete stranger. Royalty, no less. The Ars Goetia had reputations and he certainly was familiar with that. Which made it a little difficult to bring himself to approach the other.
"Greetings," He politely bowed. "I believe you're my dance partner for the contest --- may I?" Offering a hand out to the other, he figured getting on with it would be the best move.

Vassago loved dancing and though he preferred dancing with Andeealphus, he enjoyed a challenge. He wasn't expecting his partner to be an Overlord, especially one with such a reputation as the radio demon.
He glanced over at the demon and smiled. He bowed respectively, despite knowing the other Ars Goetia would find that wrong. The Ars Goetia do not bow to their lesser, but Vassago never listened anyways.
"Buenos noches," Vassago greeted. He nodded and accepted the hand offered, "Let's give them a show, Sí?"

Beezlebub's Masquerade Ball Opening (Featuring Andrealphus and Vassago @checkingintohell-jc)
As the pair pulled up to the entrance, Andrealphus looked over to Vassago. He could sense his boyfriend's excitement, and a part of him was just as excited. The last time he attended a ball it was with Caim, the two going as friends so that he wouldn't be alone. This time, however he had a proper date and was looking forward to showing off their new status as a couple.
And what better way to do so than at one of the most talked about balls in all of Hell?
"It seems we have arrived. Are you ready?" he asked, stepping out of the limo to offer his arm to Vassago. "It's time to turn more than a few heads, my dear~"

If there was one thing Vassago loved, it was any means to dance - balls, parties, sacrificial rituals in the human realm (though rare for him), it didn't matter. Vassago loved to dance and be around other people enjoying themselves.
Not only did he enjoy the overall festivities of the ball, but he got to spend it with Andrealphus and not merely as someone who hovered around him, vying for his undivided attention as Andre's hidden paramour, but as his official date. Not just a date, but a boyfriend. They arrived arm in arm, not hiding their affection for each other. Not anymore. He couldn't be more thrilled.
"Mi cariño," Vassago chirped as he smiled at his lover, "Más que preparado. Having you in my arms and dancing with you all night will be the best part!"
