Washington Post is paywalling the article but it looks like Taylor Farms — a consumer bagged salad brand that also supplies produce to grocers and fast food chains like Taco Bell, Walmart, McDonald's, Chipotle, Burger King, KFC, and Meijer —may be at least one of the sources of the current cyclosporiasis outbreak.

Taylor makes bagged greens, salad kits, chopped salads, the works. Keep avoiding supermarket greens, but keep an especially close eye out for this brand/supplier. The above list of grocers and fast food chains is NOT exhaustive, so please continue getting lettuce and other raw produce taken off your burgers, sandwiches, etc.

i remember like growing up i had glee & seeing kurt on screen was such a big deal, especially when he got to be with blaine and be SEEN with him and kiss him and being romantic ! there were a Lot of shoe drops, with kurt and w him being with blaine . but i remember too when the Jailbreak episode of SU came out & ruby and sapphire KISSED ON SCREENNN!!! aaaahhh it was such . a big fucking deal . so idk . i just get so emotional over episode 5 and scott and kip and that huge declaration of love and coming out .

and compared to the other examples, seeing the overwhelming positivity for it really gives me more hope that despite how scary shit is . itll keep getting better

actually have nothing funny or snarky to say about episode 5. this is just actually the most moving and heartwrenching television i've ever witnessed and it changed my life. it changed so many people's lives. sometimes i'm like the hr hype is lowkey a little too insane and then i watch this episode and i feel like the world writ large actually underreacted to how legendary this episode was. i too would actually soul bond with francois, hudson, and connor if i witnessed this live in the dead of winter.

Like you do need to recognise sometimes that a person is not picking up your social cues and adjust your communication style accordingly. If someone isn't understanding you then you need to change up how you're communicating and not just say the same thing over & over.

I teach rhetoric and this is critical for persuasion, but also for being a decent person. Start by thinking the best of the other. When it becomes clear that they are indeed wanting to actively misinterpret, it’s time to change up the communication.

The comments address other scenarios as well, which ultimately come down to—LISTEN to the other person. Make sure you understand what they said and be able to repeat it back to them in a way they agree with. Then you can move on into your response.

If they just plain don’t want to agree with anything you say, then it’s likely time to move on. 😉
