Snipe x Reader fic
You stood in the shared kitchen, silently humming to some song you got stuck in your head the other day. The beeping of the timer went off as warm hands slid around you. "What're you doin' in here?" "I was making surprise cookies but-", you shrug your shoulders in defeat, "I suppose that wasn't going to happen anyway, right?" "I'm sorry Darlin', didn't mean to disrupt you". His hands slid off of your waist and turned off the beeping noise from the timer. "You should take them out, if you don't want burnt cookies that is." he says with a little laugh. "Okay Smartass, thanks for the tip." You scoff as you take the cookies out. Careful not to burn yourself as you set them on the counter top to cool. You step back to admire your creations. Your stupid little cookies that had expanded so big that they had combined with each other. Stupid Little cookies. Cute little stupid cookies. Just like your cute little stupid teacher/sniper/hero/husband. It was a perfect day. "You did well Sunshine." You were knocked out of your trance by him locking hvis arms around you again. "Thanks Love" you say as you kiss his mask. "You got work today?" "Yeah, sorry Suns', really did want to spend some time together on your day off." He speaks genuinely. "Don't apologize for things you can't control." You kiss his mask again. "I'll be here when you get home anyway." You can't see it but you know he's smiling at you. "Eat a cookie and leave before your late. Okay?" "Alright" "I'll be home in a bit, okay Love?", he said as he stepped out of the apartment.
"Okay, bye!", you responded as the door clicked behind him.
