It has been almost two years since i’ve last posted a story on this blog. I get the occasional inbox message, new followers, or notifications from this blog and it still makes me smile to know people still enjoy reading my stuff. I posted a short that I had written a while ago in the middle of the night and hope you all enjoy!
The Lovers
It was midday, the sun at its peak, blue painting the sky and only the occasional birds soaring above. The wind caused the light to sway in the living space. The curtains danced in their place, the sound of traffic outside making its way inside the small space.
She left the confines of her room. The stillness of the home had curiosity picking at her. She abandoned the paper and pencil, a hand running through the tangled locks of her hair. It was no doubt that she had forgotten to brush or even wash her hair the night before. She lifted her hair as her steps led her to the open kitchen, she pulled at each strand, clumping her hair to the mid of her head. The hair tie snapped from her wrist, she lightly divided the ponytail, tugging the two lengths away from each other to tightened the space.
The sound of the coffee maker grumbled, her fingers started the rice cooker next, the chopsticks whipped the eggs sizzling on the stovetop. While it was midday, she considered this breakfast. Two plates set on the tiny table top, a plate of eggs, various side dishes, a bowl of rice overfilled and standing lopsided, a smaller bowl rice leveled off evenly at the tip.
She poured herself a cup of coffee, ripples appeared as she blew into the steaming mug, her eyes peering over to the male carelessly snoozing onto her couch. The coolness of the leather countered the humid heat. He slept on his side, face hidden in his forearms that he rested against the back of the couch. His shirt hung over the edge of his body, exposing the small of his hip. His toes crinkled occasionally, a sigh leaving his lips ever so often, a tiny snore whispering into the air.
He slept with his body curled. The empty curve by his abdomen held the curiosity that drew you from your cave. She nuzzled herself into the warmth of his shirt. At moments it was hard to tell if it was her snores or if it was his. Although the position looked uncomfortable, the male still managed to sleep soundly with the feline cuddled next to him.
“Jihoon.” The female called as she approached the male. Her mug left sitting at the dining table, she attempted to stir the man from his midday slumber, “Jihoon.” She spoke once more.
A click of her tongue echoed when her foot caused his cell phone to slide under the furniture currently used as a bed. More often than not, she felt like she was caring for a son rather than a lover. While he slept perfectly content, she huffed, her fingers finally grasping the device. Cross legged, she sat, a small glare at the back of the male.
The phone vibrated in her grasp. She noticed the pile of text, emails, and calls left unread. She placed the cell face down on the coffee table. He, who rested perfectly, dreaming in his own little world, she decided to leave him to rest a few minutes longer.
She let light into the living space, giving the curtains a rest by pushing them aside. The air outside felt cooler when she stood in front of the opened window. Her eyes watched the neighborhood children run along the streets below. Her lips curved at their playfulness.
It was this position she once saw him trudging behind his group of playful friends. A slowness in his step, hands deep in the pocket of his jacket. She could neither recognize or point out distinct features that definitively stated it was him at that moment in time; but as she recalls, it was definitely him.
She pulled the window shut. The warmth of her home encasing her in a hug. He always liked the airy feeling of the opened window. She did not.
The coffee table called to her with its chaos. She lowered herself, hovering over the amount of papers, the closed laptop, the various pencils and papers. It was similar to her own desk setup. The male stirred, the feline yawned. She looked back at the pair who only molded into each other more.
Instead of organizing his mess, she removed the unnecessary items to give space. The framed photograph of the two under neon lights, the countless magazines he swore he read, her unnecessary fruit in a bowl.
Over the fabric of his shirt, her fingers glided along his spine, “Jihoon.” She whispered, his name falling off her lips slowly, fazed by the way his lips curled. Her fingers snuck under, her nails dancing along his hip, inching the ends of his t-shirt to expose him. He hummed as if to trick her into thinking he were really awake. Her palm smacked the small of his back.
His eyes bulged from the impact. The feline had escaped at this point. He twisted with his voice crying out in a whine. He leaned over onto his stomach, his hand caressing the spot that glowed crimson on his body. She stood over him with her hands on her hip. A thin line on her lips. She feared he would only fall back asleep.
Jihoon felt weight on his back. Both of her palms rested on his back, she applied pressure, bouncing the male on the sofa. He only grumbled more as she continued her actions.
“Wake up.” She landed another slap onto his back, “It’s literally one in the afternoon and you’re taking a nap.”
His finger grazed the floor. He leaned his head over the furniture, noticing that his device remained obsolete from its position he had left it almost an hour ago. She no longer stood beside the male. Jihoon flipped himself onto his back. Hands resting on his stomach, tongue dragging over his dried lips. He tilted his head, watching her retreating figure to the dining table. She pulled her seat, proceeding to sit faced to him, one leg crossed onto the seat under the thigh of the other. She let one foot bounce against the floor.
“Anxious?” He questioned.
The bounce of her foot ceased at his words. She glanced at him, her mouth full of midday breakfast, she attempted to speak only to spew bits of rice out in front of her. Her hand flew to cover her lips, a light giggle escaping from her.
She swallowed her food whole, “Starving.” She barely manages to choke out.
Jihoon begrudgingly leaves the space on the sofa. Feet pitter pattering on the wood floors of the apartment. His hair bounces as he takes his seat in front of her. He barely takes notice of the way she had already perfectly set up his plate and utensils. He aimlessly grabs the chopsticks, picking at the scrambled eggs she had cooked previously.
For a while there is silence. No words are spoken as the two continue to eat their first meal of the day. While his phone vibrates from the living space, hers dings off in the distance. Yet no movement occurs from the two. Between the both of them, they preferred this. A meal with no distraction, just sitting comfortably with the one across from them.
“I heard Seungcheol and his girlfriend were taking a break.” She spoke suddenly. He only hums in response, uninterested in the business of his friend, “Seungcheol broke up with her, something about not communicating in the relationship.” She had rested the tip of her chopsticks atop the table.
His eyebrow quirked, “Are you trying to tell me that we should talk about our relationship?”
“No.” She picked at the side dish, “Just thought you’d like to know that the next time you see Seungcheol, he’ll probably be extra needy and clingy.”
An air of laughter flew between his lips, “Thanks.”
Silence fell once again. A smile formed on her face watching the male hurdle spoonfuls of rice into his mouth. He finished his bowl of rice, carefully looking at her in the eyes then to her half filled bowl of rice, almost asking permission to devour hers also.
“Take it.” She lightly pushed the bowl to him who grinned with his mouth still filled with rice, “Am I a friend?”
His head bounces up towards her, “What?” The food almost spills.
“Well I was just thinking,” She tilted her head, “There was a conversation at work, ‘putting labels on a relationship’. What would you consider me? A friend? Companion? Girlfriend? Cohabiting partner?”
The lightbulb flickers in his head. He sat frozen, one hand still holding the rice bowl, the other with his utensils.
She rests her cheek on her knuckle, “I consider you my lover.” Her lips curled into an amused expression, the way a light blush appeared across his face, “Sounds scandalous, doesn’t it? My lover.”

a/n: I AM BACK and i’m coming to you with a prince!seventeen series as a continuation of @cheollies‘ series that she never got to finish. i got permission to revive it and so i will be writing for the missing members, while trying to do her writing justice. i’ll make a separate masterlist for this with the OG bullet point fics so that you can read those. anyways please enjoy :D
● it all started when mingyu was a kid
● little mingyu was a bit clumsy
● the helpers were always so scared of letting him wander off alone
● and they were right
● because when he started running around and bumping into table, all hell broke loose
● helpers were screaming and pulling their hair out at the broken (and very expensive) vases
● it was already kinda dangerous to begin with
● but the worst that had happened were the vases shattering to the ground just a few feet away from the little boy
● and on his 7th birthday came in you
● princess of an equally big neighboring kingdom, destined to marry prince mingyu when the two of you were older
● mingyu got used to you pretty quickly, even though you were always in and out of the palace
● he played with you a lot and because he started to run around a lot more with you around, the staff was always running around to make sure he didn’t hurt himself
● they were so tired
● it became slightly more alarming when he would go into the kitchens??
● the kitchen staff would scream about prince mingyu being in the kitchen and the babysitting staff (as mingyu’s dad liked to call them) was also screaming about mingyu being in the kitchen
● but he was only there to get milk for you
● so as he tried to hold two glasses of milk that were way too big for his small hands, they slipped out of his hands and shattered to the floor, milk spilling everywhere
● mingyu’s babysitter at that time freaked out so much that she broke into tears after she’d cleaned up
● an 8-year-old PRINCE and sharp glass?
● a heart attack is what she almost had
● it was funny to you that this small boy could cause so much trouble just by existing
● and growing up with him, amusement turned into concern as 17-year-old mingyu started bumping his head and dropping plates on himself while trying to take it from the staff
● all in all, a complete disaster
● how is he alive
● “OH MY GOD PRINCE MINGYU PLEASE DON’T TOUCH THE LAMP”
● has bodyguards for outings in the town now
● he broke so much stuff
● had to go around with tons of cash to pay for all the broken stuff
● “we’re so sorry it won’t happen again”
● “that’s exactly what you said when he broke the chandelier”
● some bodyguards quit
● it was too much
● he literally ran into a staff member and knocked them into a service trolley that held his parents’ lunch and it knocked a table and broke a vase
● and he also broke a table
● like he stuck a sword into it and the table snapped in two when he tried to pull it out
● why did he have a sword in the first place????
● (someone got fired for it and mingyu never found out about it)
● and you truly get concerned for him like how is he supposed to survive as a king if he can’t even take care of himself
● you find out that the two of you are supposed to get married sometime between your 16th and 18th birthday, through people gushing about the two of you
● your parents were trying to keep it on the downlow, as they were learning and taking notes from Seungkwan’s parents’ mistakes
● (boy has been throwing tantrums his entire life about not getting married yikes)
● but you and mingyu knew anyway
● but as you reached legal age, both of your kingdoms required big and days-long coming of age parties
● that and add the preparation for the days-long engagement party and celebration the two kingdoms were preparing
● you saw mingyu again for the first time in about two years
● and boy has he gotten taller and more handsome
● but then at dinner with both of your parents’ his glass of wine escapes his hand
● and you thought “it’s fine he didn’t mean to”
● but it only gets worse
● he bumped into you (which was totally fine, you weren’t really looking where you were going either)
● but he also bumped into you because he was walking backwards, you fell and he fell too
● he felt bad that he hadn’t seen you
● he was so SO tall like so tall
● no bruises, just a tiny flame of anger burning inside you haha
● you once were in the royal garden, watching the staff tending to the flowers
● mingyu was watching as well and when he saw you he joined you
● only him could have been so clumsy that he tripped a lever
● the emergency watering lever
● you were so sure you hated him now
● if he wasn’t going to kill himself in a dumb accident you would do it for bringing you into one
● even the staff at this point, were just tired and had completely given up on the boy
● they watched him run into a door frame and just shrugged
● “if it happens it happens”
● you glared so much at mingyu and your staff would always tell you not to glare at the prince
● but you were starting to lose it
● “please don’t break off the engagement”
● and it was so funny to you that he begged you not to
● “if you break it off, our kingdoms will be enemies, do you really want that?”
● you’d ignore him
● you’d always tell him that he was gonna end up killing you
● and then it happened
● you couldn’t remember the moments leading up to this but the next thing you knew
● his arm had come in contact with your face
● so hard
● it hurt for a whole day
● and you were so mad but you tried your best to contain it
● and prince mingyu had obviously noticed in your eyes that you were about to murder him
● all of a sudden, accidents stopped happening
● well
● mingyu was trying so hard to stop them
● would only hurt himself in the process of avoiding an accident
● bumped his head, knocked a table, broke an expensive painting, all while trying to avoid bumping into people
● mostly you
● he was so so careful around you
● and you found it cute in a way
● because he was trying not to hurt you
● “your majesty please” and “YOUR MAJESTY NO” his entire life
● he headbutted you the first time you kissed
● (sex was also very interesting the first time)
● your first newborn was a constant stress because mingyu would always try to hold your little girl
● who could blame him it was his first baby girl
● but it’s literally mingyu
● “DON’T TOUCH THE BABY YET WE NEED TO WRAP HER IN BUBBLE WRAP BEFORE YOU LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER”
● pouted so much
● but he understood
● never stopped working on keeping his clumsiness throughout your entire relationship
● being a parent ignited something in him that turned his carefulness on like a damn switch
● but in the end, you knew you would have accepted his clumsiness and helped him manage it, because you had fallen so hard in love for him that you would do anything to protect him (and your kids) from himself

it’s been a while since i’ve been on this blog and i don’t know if anyone still pays attention to my blog but here’s a special treat.
To All The Fics I’ll Never Get To Write
This is the last post I will put on this blog for a while.
This is to all the fics i’ve written, to all the au’s i’ve come up with, to all the writings i fell in love with that were created by me.
While this is also a farewell to you guys, this is also a farewell to the pieces i wrote, the ones unreleased, and the ones yet to be created.
The balance between work and school and trying to keep up with this writing blog just haven’t met the perfect harmony. And even when I find the perfect moment of freedom in between my hectic schedule to sit down and relax; i hated the idea that I had to write.
Writing should be about fun and creativity but it became something I started to slowly worry about.
I feel burdened and saddened with the thought that all these new followers i’ve gained might think badly of me because I’ve gone into rest just when they started following me.
But then I felt even more burdened knowing that many of you who’ve followed me for a long time have dealt with me constantly being on hiatus.
And then I realized, after a whole summer of work and summer school, after excitedly waiting and waiting for even a one week break from school and work. It turned out that work wasn’t finished for me and fall semester was right there next to me.
I’ve spent a blissful year and a half with this writing blog, i’ve met wonderful people, i’ve gratefully received help from many connected to this blog, and i hope you all too enjoyed this blog.
Let’s not think of this as a goodbye forever. Let’s meet again on here once in a while. When I have a sudden burst of creativity, I hope we can come back onto this blog and enjoy ourselves again.

Hoshi would seriously find this adorable. The fact that you would ask him to dance to anything makes him really soft, so he gets this gentle smile on his face before nodding in agreement. He lets you play your HSM playlist and gently dances you around the kitchen, his hands clasped in yours and often pressing his forehead against yours so he can focus on nothing else except for you.

Seungcheol felt fingers poke his nose, then his cheeks, he felt the fingers tug his hair lightly and he could only scrunch his face at the thought of being awake so early.
You watch the sight in amusement. How couldn’t you. Your daughter had woken early, having a restless night of sleep knowing exactly the special event of the day. Heck, she had it marked on her calendar since the year had started.
She even went with her Uncle Hao last weekend to go pick out a new dress for the special occasion. She had also personally called up her Uncle Hannie to help buy a gift for her dad, insisting that she didn’t want your help because you had to get your own gift for dad and to not steal her idea.
To top it off, she spent her entire piggy bank on this one gift, with the help of Uncle Hannie of course.
She was in her pretty dark blue dress, a beautiful flower headband accessory, and a tiny pearl necklace. She was practically ready to walk the runway.
Your lips curl instantly at the way she struggles for a minute to climb onto the bed. Holding onto the sheets for dear life as she managed to pull herself up with a huff, stopping for a minute to fix her hair. Something Uncle Boo taught her to do.
“Daddy! Wake up!!” She jumps onto Seungcheol’s stomach, knocking the wind out of him and waking him up immediately, “Wake up wake up wake up!!!!”
Seungcheol groans, gasping for air, practically begging for it from you when he sees you snickering in the doorway, “Aecha! You’re hurting daddy!”
Aecha giggles into the blanket sheets. The mischievous six year old jumps once more onto her father, “It’s daddy’s birthday!!!”
Seungcheol finally notices the way his daughter is dolled up. Even her lips were tinted red, a clear sign of her putting Chan’s birthday gift to use. He breaks out into a smile while sitting up.
“Wow! You’re so much more prettier than your mother.”
Aecha screeches at the compliment, jumping into her father’s arms as he stands to his feet and proceeds to spin around and around to spread her laughter throughout the room.
“Alright alright. She just ate breakfast, let’s not make her throw up in here like last time.” You point a finger at him when he stops.
Seungcheol leans in for a kiss that ends in the both of you laughing against each other’s lips at the way Aecha screams at her parent’s affection.
“Happy Birthday.” You whisper, “Now, here’s a piece of toast, eat it while you can.” You shove the piece of bread in between his teeth.
“Why?”
Seungcheol mumbles with the toast between his lips. Aecha snatches the toast from his mouth, munching on it for her father as he sets her down. The doorbell rings. Then it rings once more, and then repeatedly.
You give him a small smirk, because you’re not going to get a moment of silence for the next twenty four hours. You open the door, children come flying in with parents running after them.
“Uncle Cheol!!” Screams a hoard of children as twelve distressed fathers pile in the doorway.
You guys,, Ena and I are best friends and show each other what requests we get sometimes so we can help each other decide what to do next,,, so if you send us the same request we’re gonna know lol

sometimes alone, sometimes with a buddy or two
sometimes studying, sometimes staring at his phone, and sometimes daydreaming
every time, he ordered the same thing despite always staring at the menu in deep thought and contemplation
strawberry shortcake, strawberry shake, and some fresh strawberries on the side
he seemed to love strawberries. at one point the color of his hair was as red as the strawberries itself
and when you try to talk about him to your co-workers, it seems as though they have never heard of him
“Kwon Soonyoung?” your coworker looked at you puzzled, “Are you sure he’s a regular, i’ve never heard about him before.”
you thought you were going insane the first few times
but it seems as if he only came during your shifts
how weird?
it wasn’t weird.
Soonyoung was staring intently at his phone, biting his nail, waiting for the response of his friends after having asked about how to approach you
Joshua: Just be yourself
Chan: But not too much like yourself
Jeonghan: Doesn’t she think it’s weird that you always go there and order strawberries
Jihoon: yes because the strawberries are the real problem. I think the real problem is that he’s spending almost 20 dollars five times a week for this person
his friends are no help at all
Soonyoung sneaks a glance at you and when you catch his eyes he’s burying himself in his cake

“Please introduce me!” Soonyoung is practically begging Jun
Soonyoung recently found out, when he brought Jun to the dessert place to show him his crush, that you were Jun’s classmate
actually, Jun lied and told Soonyoung you were his ex and had to stop his lie when Soonyoung started crying and begging Jun for permission to ask you on a date
so it’s safe to say that Soonyoung really really liked you
“Hey y/n! will you go on a date with Soonyoung?”
Soonyoung turns really bright red, “No!” Soonyoung hides his face, “Don’t say it like that!”
You smile a bit, “Sure.”
Soonyoung leaves the dessert shop smacking Jun for embarrassing him but also in a happy skip with your phone number in his pocket.

wonwoo was always told to stop chasing cats ever since he was young
but how could he resist how cute their eyes are and the way they spoke so soft and quiet and just so incredibly cute
but his mother always lectured him. Something about how canines and felines don’t mix.

there were so many rules too
you can’t chase after cats, you can’t pet cats, you can’t keep cats as your pet, you can’t hide cats in a box in your room and tend to it
but wonwoo was waiting for the day, the day he would be set free from his family to go and search for his one true mate
the day he turned twenty, he was finally released from his home to search day and night to bring home his love
and for something he thought would take years and years on end, only took one day
wonwoo followed a cat into the city, he really wanted to pet the cat
the cat ended up sitting in front of the cat shelter, wonwoo was excited
he practically barges into the place and that’s when it happens. He’s hit with so much feelings.
his stomach was jittery, his whole body warmed at the sight of you, the over protectiveness nature kicking in as soon as you locked eyes with him
“Hi. Can I help you?”
He chickened out okay. first of all, you weren’t the werewolf his family was hoping for, you were a simple human living a simple life. and second of all, he wanted to spend more time with the cats.
wonwoo begins to volunteer regularly
he comes Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with occasional Saturdays.
Wonwoo practically melts each time seeing you with a cat
sometimes, when wonwoo gets really excited, a little habit happens. when he’s overly excited or happy his wolf ears will pop out.
it happened one day with you
on the night Wonwoo agreed to stay a little later than usual.
you two were alone in the back rooms, sitting together with the cats roaming about. your shoulders touched wonwoo’s when you leaned back and suddenly Wonwoo’s ears shot out, wiggling themselves at your touch
you giggle, “Your ears.”
Wonwoo screeches, “you’re not supposed to see them! Wait! Why aren’t you freaking out.” Wonwoo tries to pat his ears down.
You burst out laughing, “the best thing about being a witch is being able to trick everyone else. Even werewolves.”
“A witch?”
“what?” you smile, “are you scared of your mate now.”

it was also incredibly awkward sitting on the steps as female classmates you recognized from class kept exiting the home.
and each one that left, you greeted with half smiled hi’s
you wondered if one of them had been in Wonwoo’s room
you shook the thought out of your head, you’ve known wonwoo since middle school, he would never suddenly turn into one of those dudes
“Hey! Wonwoo says you can some inside!”
cautiously you entered the home. Guys were standing around everywhere, incredibly uncomfortable.
chan leads you to Wonwoo’s room
as usual, when you enter his room, he’s playing games on his laptop. typical wonwoo
“do you just live and breathe gaming.”
Wonwoo barely makes a sound, “If I win this, i’ll be top of the league.”
you jump onto his bed, making your self comfortable in the sheets that smell like him. A smile crawls onto your lips at the scent, “Couldn’t it have waited until later. You promised me we’d go out to eat.”
“I’m almost done.”
You throw a pillow at him, “I’m your best friend, don’t act like I don’t know that ‘i’m almost done’ is two hours from now and then it’s ‘just one more minute’ which turns into another two hours.”
“I swear I’m almost done.”
You make a noise out of frustration, angered that you had spent an hour getting ready for this dork who won’t even notice, “Whatever! Stay then! I’ll just go ask Seungcheol.”
yeah you knew he didn’t like Seungcheol hanging out with you
“It’s a really good restaurant! Super cute with really good food!” You were jumping in front of Seungcheol who was just as gleeful
“Let’s go.” Wonwoo interrupts. His fingers sliding into your hands, interlocking your fingers and dragging you away.
“But your league?”
Wonwoo shrugs, “I can be second for once.” He does a quick scan from the top of your head to your feet, “You look nice.”
your fingers are still interlocked, swinging them back and forth as you two walk away from the house.
best friends? yes of course.
lovers? at this point, wonwoo would say it was.
“they’re totally dating!” twelve boys whisper in unison as they all stare out the window at you and Wonwoo.

The sheets hugged you; they were were warm unlike the fan blowing air around. They were soft and so heavenly against your body. The scrunch of your face could only mean one thing. It was in response to the sun filling the room.
Your hands pull the blankets over your head as you stretch your arm out to the other side of the bed. Your fingers barely scratching the bare back skin of the male resting with his body hanging off the bed.
“Cheol.” You huff under the darkness of the fabric. Your eyes were still trying to process the thought of being awake, “Cheol.” You whine, scooting just a little over to pat the man on the back.
He only grunts, rolling over to face you. Seungcheol only digs his face into his pillow, letting a low snore. You’ve fully awaken at this point. You throw the sheets and glare at the ceiling, then they transfer to throw daggers at the boy sleeping a wonderful slumber.
“Choi Seungcheol.”
As if on instinct, his eyes shoot open at the call of his full name. His unkempt hair falls over his eyes while he groans at the sudden sunlight. Seungcheol shivers suddenly after realizing how the covers have seemed to end up with you. Only one thought passed through his mind.
Why have two blankets if I still end up with none.
“Cheol.”
He stares into your eyes. Your beautiful eyes that glisten with the sun. Seungcheol freezes. He had forgotten. Your eyes were not supposed to glisten with the sun. Close the blinds. It was the one thing you had asked him to do after you had kissed him goodnight. Well, technically it wasn’t his fault. He was so entranced by your lips and the sound of gun shooting at him on the screen.
Seungcheol decides to take the safe route. Play it dumb, he won’t get yelled at if he acts cute. Seungcheol crawls under the covers, engulfing you with his arms and sending you your favorite goofy grin, “Yes my love.”
You knew what he was doing. You had to stay strong, “Do you remember our conversation last night? Right before I went to bed.”
“I remember kissing those beautiful, sweet, soft lips of yours. You know I can’t think well after one of your kisses.”
It’s his chance. Seungcheol presses his chapped lips against yours, morning breath passing to and from each other as he begins to hover over you. He’s dipping the bed with his hands on either side of you. He’s giving you no time to breath, pushing atop of you deeper into the bed.
“I hate you so much.” Out of breath, you stare into those eyes of his.
He smiles cheekily, “Good morning.”
“One of these mornings, you’re gonna get it.”
He presses his forehead against yours, “Oh really?”
You giggle, bumping noses, “Really.”
“I can’t wait.”

bc while you were sitting in thecar, your manager driving, your head leaning on the window trying to catch somesleep before some late night dance practicing
your phone vibrated, it rangloudly, it was shaking the car and everyone woke up to the sound
your heart literally shook in shockwhen the words “Cheollie’s Birthday!” shot up front on screen.
cue words of anguish spewing fromyour mouth because you sort of kinda forgot about your boyfriend’s birthday
and you feel so bad because youremember how on your birthday, Seungcheol had subway advertisements, busadvertisements, heck he even managed to get you on times square
AND to top it off, he got you someof the most expensive jewelry and clothing ever
now it’s your turn annnd you’vegot nothing
well not entirely
you screech when you tumble out ofyour dorm window, you were so glad your company chose the first level of thebuilding
you yelp at the thorns of thebushes, tripping over your feet and falling ungracefully into Seungcheol’s arms
“If someone caught us right now itwould look like I was kidnapping you.” Seungcheol pulls some of the leaves outof your hair, “You don’t have to sneak out for me. It’s just my birthday.”
you slap his arm, before pullingthe items out that you had thrown out the window just before you ugly fell out.
it was a little cake box, a bag withcandles and a lighter, and another bag of food and drinks
you hushed Seungcheol as you twoducked from the windows and made your escape to the nearby park where you twohad discovered the tiniest hidden location
you nearly kicked Seungcheol whenhe kept poking your sides while ducking down, he absolutely loved the idea of almost getting caught
“Happy Birthday!” you halfwhispered and half screamed to him with the cake held up to his face
He had the largest grin on hisface before he blew the candles out, obviously making a wish with the candlesblowing out
“How many of your fans know it’s yourbirthday?” You ask Seungcheol while splitting the pieces of the chicken, givingSeungcheol the parts you know he absolutely loves
“Fans? Why would I have fans? All ofthe people who follow me are your fans.I’m just a fansite.”
you grin, “you’re not just a fansite. You’re my favoritefansite.”
After a while, well after you’veboth cleaned of the chicken grease, you giggly made him close his eyes, makinghim swear to not open his eyes as you got his gift ready
“Not it’s not as good as the stuffyou got or even did for me. But I thought reallyhard about this. Okay open your eyes!”
Seungcheol blinks and in front ofhim he’s presented with a ring?
“You got me a ring?” Seungcheolhalf smiles, “It’s cute.”
He sorta wishes it was a couplering but he begins to grin. Anything from you was perfect.
“wait wait wait. There’s more” Yourlips start to perk up, “Look!”
You pull the chain from aroundyour neck, a ring dangling on the chain. An exact replica of the ring in hishands.
“I thought it would be too obviousif we were wearing the same ring. Other fansites would catch on but! I can wearthis one under my clothes and it’ll be totally invisible! And I’ll try toalways wear it as much as I can. And I know it’s not much and I wish I couldhave gotten you something bigger like you did for me but…..”
Seungcheol presses his lips toyours, a long smile on his lips as he pulls away, “This is way bigger than anythingI’ve done for you.”
For a while you two lay rested onthe ground, smooshed together as close as possible to make up for possible losstime in the future.
You felt your phone buzz multipletimes, you’ve been caught sneaking out. But as quick as you can, you turn yourphone on silent before snuggling your head upon his chest.
Who cares if you got in trouble.At least you’d have this moment to last you until next time.
