Decal Adoration, Ché - P. Bellion, oil on canvas, 2025, 6 x 8 inches.
"Echoes", oil on repurposed canvas, 2024, Ché - P. Bellion.
Additional notes:
I created this piece closer to the end of last year, experimenting with tonal difference and texture with black. I wanted to see how well cheaper oil paints would hold up in terms of translucency over an opaque and more midrange priced oil paints. This was quite a fun personal project and reminds me quite a lot of the Call of Duty franchise.
I think that if I were to revisit this piece now, I maybe would avoid using the gold details within the snake itself, and I would definitely work on the scales, as they don't hold much shape or consistency. I would also straighten up the skull itself as it's slightly slanted. My own self criticism aside, I'm quite pleased with the overall outcome. And even months after, the cheaper oil paints used for the small rainbow offshoots are still extremely vibrant. I'm excited to see how they age in time.
Just having one of those days, you know? 😂
It'll be the fourth time covering this piece 😂 it's fine. Part of the process.

Just completed this fan art piece last night after almost abandoning it for a year, and I'm thrilled to have finished it. I've been a huge In This Moment fan for years. Without sounding too dramatic and pedantic, their music has gotten me through some of the most difficult parts of my life and still continues to. As someone who experiences traumatic flashbacks, I found great relatability and comfort in their works. There's something so undescribable about being able to hear someone screaming on behalf of you for a similar pain they had experienced or wrote of through lyricism.
"Lila Galaxie", Che - P. Bellion, oil on canvas 2024, commission
Thrilled that I can finally post this one! Got to do a surprise commission for a friend in Germany. This was a lot of fun to explore, and I had a blast painting this piece.
Untitled, Che - P. Bellion, oil on canvas, 2024
I just completed this piece. I don't have a name for her yet but she's been a year in the making. I'm so proud of it 💙 The gold actually shimmers and shines in the light.
I finished this painting fairly recently. I don't have a name for it yet. But it was a lot of fun playing with texture, shape and focusing less on blending and more on intentional placement. I added some ripped paper to the actual rips on the canvas too. Very fiddly stuff, but the desired effect was worth the time it took 😊
"Serenity of Hiddensee", oil on canvas, commission
Finished a commission going off to Germany soon 🇩🇪 my first international commission.
This was quite a challenge since seascapes and boat scenes are a bit out of my comfort zone, but I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to try something different. I thoroughly enjoyed painting this image of Hiddensee.
"The Apparitions", oil on board.
I started this piece a year ago and just completed it last night. I absolutely love painting splishy-splashy-plasticy portraiture with bright colours. There was something so inherently natural about painting this unnatural piece.
The title was also inspired by Sleep Token's song "The Apparition" ❤️💙
I painted this piece around a year ago called "Star Gazer", this was my first real painting after a long painting hiatus. This was a revisited attempt at impressionism with a blend of abstract and realism. This piece was completed in about 6 hours. I remember it quite clearly, it was such a wonderful day ☺️ being able to paint uninterrupted and feeling that joy and peace.
There are a few things I'd fix about this painting now if I ever felt compelled to, but overall- I'm still quite happy with the level of work I managed to achieve out of a relatively small piece.
Hello out there.
First time posting on here. Hope you're having a great day or evening wherever you are. This painting is titled "Prime Indulgence" and I created this painting earlier this year (2024). I hope someone out there can find some inspiration and joy in it as I did while painting it 🌸
