i really want to go back and work on my series again. there are 4 chapters left, i have some wips. i went through a lot of sidequests irl but i never considered abandoning the series fr although it looks like i did.
he is so soft with her, that kiss, that hug, the "i thought i lost you again"
imagine him with sophia (their kid in my fics), she looks just like her mom, but the eyes and hair are his.
he's always afraid of letting her see his true form but one day it happens because he's protecting her and lady, the demon isnt even strong, but dante is a new parent and he just gets triggered.
and his baby daughter sees him like this and cries and cries and dante's heart sinks, lady keeps telling her is daddy, and he transforms into his human form and she stops crying, looks at him, there's silence until she laughs. dante shoots lady a confused look but she nods, smiling, holding their baby. so he transforms again and this tine sophia doesn't cry, she smiles and waits, when he goes back to being hunan again, she not only laughs but reaches for him and he scoops her into his arms, and lady is in love with them, with the scene, dante nuzzling sophia's chubby baby cheeks and lady is like "are you gonna blame the rain again?" '
because of course he's emotional, he had feared this moment so much, afraid his baby girl woold be scared of him for life because she's too young to undress, but nope, she's a daddy's girl through and through.
and dante's excuse this time is : "must be the wind."
