As much as I am enjoying the accuracy and creative direction of the series, the pjo movies did the action and intense scenes better.

Now you can always argue that the actors are young but I'm blaming the direction of the series more. Also the soundtrack for not giving the intensity the books had.

Honestly the best example being the fight with Medusa. Even though the series gave Medusa better character depth, the fight scene in the movie was so much better and impactful and accurately dipicted the intensity in the books.

I hope this improves in the upcoming episodes because I have high expectations here.
