sometimes in the blue shadows of evening, i give way to tender feelings. i go into a garden, smelling the fragrance of spring with my poor monstrous nose, and watch [a man and a woman] two men strolling together in the moonlight. i think how much i, too, would like to be walking arm in arm with a [woman] man, under the moon. i let myself be carried away, i forget myself - and then i suddenly see the shadow of my profile on the garden wall.

i got inspired by a scene and quote from the movie ‘a different man’ (starring sebastian stan) that i resonated with a lot, so of course i decided to imagine mickey in it. as i drew this i sort of had in mind the aftermath 3x06 scene i drew previously so in a way it could be seen as a part 2? i don’t know, but you can find it here

i’m ashamed to admit this took me a while (went through almosf 2 audiobooks as i painted this) let’s pretend mickey’s face is anything but that!
