     “How strange, following us around…”

     The angel tilts his head, a playful smile ‘pon his lips as he turns turns to face the child-like figure. & what an unusual sight she is - bare footed, sharp-toothed & in little more than a short dress. Not of a particularly threatening appearance… Yet he chooses caution regardless.

     “Are you lost?”

‘‘Laby did get a little sidetracked earlier by something so she did get lost. But Teacher always said if she ever lost track of him to just try to find a town with lots of people..and she saw you going towards a town so she thought it’d be good to go with that!” The girl said cheerfully. She didn’t seem to be too concerned about whether he could be trusted, but something about him felt like...it was definitely okay.

Examine a wooden shield.

Well...she’s seen a few people with this on her adventure. It smells like the forest, of course...and for some reason, Laby lightly kicks at the shield? Despite it being wood, it’s pretty sturdy. Laby Approved!

Examine a Chain Chomp

Laby is really curious about this Chain Chomp! It was large and heck, it had the same kind of teeth as Laby, there’s just a huge size difference between the two. But Laby would be friends with it if it plays nice and isn’t a huge meanie!

Examine a wumpa fruit

Laby stared at the fruit, it was red and yellow..looks a bit like an apple! Is it safe to eat? It doesn’t smell gross, it smells sweet! It’s a bit squishy from the texture too. Laby approves!!

‘‘You’ll help me? Well...Teacher said I should try to stay somewhere though, so I’d like help! But I should probably also stay someplace safe! ..Is there any place like that though?’’ Considering the last time her getting separated from her teacher, she had to fight a meanie lord who was going to hurt her friends and village..

But then Laby stared at the girl a little bit more. She didn’t really say anything from the response..actually, she didn’t look too human either! Was she some sort of demon? Or a robo? She was curious, everything around her was so interesting after all.

It was awhile since the pink-haired child took a little rest. It was nice and relaxing. Especially since it wasn’t the black forest, but just a regular little park! But it wasn’t like she was sleeping honestly, it was more like just a little relaxing mode...although napping might not be a bad idea.

‘‘It’s nice to meet you, Mara! Laby’s name is Laby, and this mirror is my best friend, Nisha!~’‘ Laby turned to face Mara, pointing at the mirror next to Laby. Then she laughed a little nervously. ‘‘ Laby does understand how you feel though, I was lost in a forest for so long..but she then she met Nisha.. so maybe next time it’s good to be with somebody when you’re somewhere scary!’’

‘‘Well Laby was wondering if you saw teacher! Or did you see somebody with blonde hair pass by you? She got separated from him again…’’ Laby then noticed the tall woman looking at her…kind of? She really couldn’t tell, Nisha was the one who pointed it out to her…not that they could hear that considering Nisha is the mirror right next to Laby. Laby was definitely curious though about the lady!

Neither the young vigilant nor his marionette companion was aware that the mirror this girl had was sentient, had they assume that she was wandering on her own. Regardless, she was looking for someone though her description was kinda vague.

“I assume your name is… Laby? To answer your question though, it’s hard to tell since there are a lot of blond people here. Me and my sister included,” Carl even pointed on his own hair. “Any other description like what your teacher was wearing? We might have seen him somewhere.”

‘‘Hmm..well he has pretty yellow eyes,and he wears a cloak! Teacher is pretty tall too.’’  Laby cheerfully answered to the two. Her teacher was pretty noticeable in her opinion, but they weren’t wrong...their hair was also blonde! The girl went quiet for a bit, looking at her mirror, before commenting again.

‘‘Well if you haven’t seen Teacher, he’s told Laby to stay in an area till he finds her! With lots of people..so Laby may just do that till she sees him!’’
