Spoilers for Edas Requiem
This episode is probably my favorite episode of the season so far. IT WAS SO GOOD!
So many awesome things happened!
Also Yes Eda cried! I knew she would cry this episode! It wasn't a breakdown but it was something. The fact she cried for Raine twice hurts. She also cried with the while King thing.
Another thing that surprised me was that Eda blushed too! Alot actually!
Raine and Eda are a slow burn relationship that has been going on for so long. I love how they didnt hate each other or had a big fight. They sort of stayed friends this whole time who secretly pine for one another.
Raine is a CINNAMON ROLL BTW. I LOVE THEM!! There just really shy and get stage freight but are also super smart and doesnt like the emperor! They've been trying to get some info in the inside! I knew we could trust them! They were a friend of Eda for a reason!
Another thing I need to mention is yes... the gay. THIS EPISODE WAS SO GAY! I LOVED IT. THESE TWO LOVE EACH OTHER LIKE-
Also look at how Raine stares at Eda in the flashback LIKE OMG- THATS PURE LOVE!
Can we also talk about the MUSIC SCENE! THAT SCENE IS SO BEAUTIFULLY ANIMATED AND THE MUSIC IS SO GOOD!! LIKE OMG!!
I love the representation of Eda being basically death while Raine is Life. THAT IS JUST SO COOL AND MAKES ME SHIP THEM MORE!!
I loved the ending where King basically becomes a Clawthorne. It was cute and its Confirmed that Kings dad is ALIVE!!
Overall I loved this episode and--
That wasn't the ending was it...
KIKIMORA IS SUCH A BITCH! FIRST YOU TRY TO KILL GOLDEN GUARD AND NOW YOUR GONNA BRAINWASH RAINE!?
Raine!!! Also the bruises show that they were tortured for a while....BRUH
The fact that Raine sacrificed themselves so Eda could go to her family hurts. Eda doesnt know what Raine will become.....
WE DONT KNOW WHAT RAINE WILL BECOME!
There's probably going to be a scene where Eda thinks its Raine but then shes like
"Your not my Rainstorm...."
Then 'Corrupted Raine' (yes that's what I'm calling them) will start evily laughing or some shit. Or Eda will think Raine betrayed them when in fact that isn't the case and she'll probably learn that down the line.
Bro before they probably become canon we gotta go through ALOT of Angst and shit.
But maybe in the end the 2 will get married 👀
Because during a livestream one of the crew members mentioned it-
Anyway! I LOVED THIS EPISODE EVEN THOUGH IT HURTS ITS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF THE SEASON SO FAR!
I have alot of theories for what will happen to Raine or Eda and Edas new power that I would love to share! But for now I want to wait till everyone has seen the episode!
