Yeah lmao i always forget how misogynistic the source material is cause everyone makes so much fun of it😭 i live in my own little canon in which L and light are lesbians and too busy being freaky to kill each other (they still kill each other eventually). I think mello would go butchy mean lesbian and you cannot convince me otherwise, and near is just a little scrunkly creature regardless of universe. Absolutely nothing is different about him here she just has longer hair (refuses to be bothered with cutting it) from the get go. They stay silly
