There it was — the recognition!

Not only had she been recognized, but she had been dubbed one of her crew. She had been a Straw Hat for a while now, but it still made her giddy and light-as-air to be considered a part of a crew she loved so much.

“I am, but you might not wanna say that too loudly.” She pressed a finger to her lips and grinned. “Someone that ain’t a fan of ours might hear you.”

“Oh, then you’re a part of Luffy’s crew then. I haven’t met him, but Iva’s talked a lot about him whenever I have seen them.”

It was exciting to see someone out there that was a part of Luffy’s crew. Her voice was lower this time, giving a small smile, “I’m a part of the Revolutionary Army if we can exchange secrets.” She stated, giving a small salute.

Her group was always traveling, and they weren’t always able to see the other Revos, but whenever they made a stop it Baltigo, she was always excited to see everyone.

The medic bounced happily, “I hope you’ve been doing well.”

She didn’t say it too loud but she wanted to see if that’s who she was allied with. Hitomi knew the Revolutionaries would probably consider them allies but she wasn’t so sure if she was recognizable without her own bounty. They had only been in the new world for a bit now. Not too long, not too short.

“Ugh, don’t… don’t call me ma’am. M’pretty sure you’re older than me.” She had only gotten that impression because the other woman seemed so mature, although she couldn’t really see an adult selflessly giving away their kindness to a complete stranger. The injured acrobat was proven wrong, however, when the pain in her wrist gradually ebbed away. She watched the bruised skin turn to a healthy shade of pink, felt the bones right themselves and wondered how BADLY it would have hurt to have them heal the wrong way.

Once the woman pulled away, Anita flexed her fingers and rotated her wrist. There wasn’t even a fraction of the pain remaining, her face brightening considerably. Her melancholy expression sported a large grin now, brown eyes flicking between her healed wrist and the stranger.

“Holy shit, it actually worked! It’s liked it was never broken in the first place!” She hated owing people anything and returning kindness without a reward herself ( which was half the reason why she assumed other people wanted payment ) but there were some acts of kindness so pure that she actually WANTED to thank her.

“There’s gotta be something I can do to pay you back! Seriously, I mean it.”

A small bit of laughter echoed in her lips, laughing brightly at the girl’s first words, “That might be true, but hey, I don’t quite know your name yet. Care to tell me what it is?” The woman asked, smiling a bit brightly, noticing that the girl had been noticing the healing that was going on in her wrist. Hitomi had been happy at the girl’s outburst that had been just pleasing. Her usual work was on top of things and she couldn’t of been any more happier to help the girl with her injured wrist. Least she had accomplished something today.

Taken aback by her last words, Hitomi couldn’t help but wave her hand as an act of rejecting the payback. She had gotten that plenty of times. Almost made her heart warm up about how different people are in this world compared to all of the nobles and some of the people in the government.

“I refuse the payback, honestly. I’m just trying to make the world a better place with even the smallest of gestures.” The woman shrugged her shoulders.

Another kiss, this one warmer and deeper. He shivered at her words and leaned into her, fingers brushing aside a lock of her hair as he moved his lips away from hers and brushed them against her cheek. “I love you, too. So much. Please tell me you’ll be around for a while.”

His arms found her waist, head burying itself into her neck and shoulder.

She chuckled. Her giggle, turning into a small laugh at the kiss on her cheek, happy to see him and she wasn’t about to leave any time soon. She missed him far too much to just leave now.

“Ah, for now I am, but I don’t think I’m leaving anytime. I got a day off today so I’ll spend it all with you.” She smiled and maybe into the night as well. Akita didn’t say she had to be back by nightfall after all.

“I might’ve.” The woman smiled warmly when she parted her lips. Being with her group in the Revolutionary Army was always something she was happy about, but she missed him to death honestly. The warm embrace she had missed dearly. She did love him a lot.

“I love you.” Came the soft response from her lips before she decided to lean in again and kiss him again.

Bashfully ties a little ribbon into her hair. "I saw it and it made me think of you. I hope it's alright."

A small blush appeared on her face at the tie of the ribbon in her hair. It was such a nice touch to her, and she found herself smiling a little afterwords, chuckling before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek, “I love it, Sanji-kun thank you.”
