#3: Tom Ellis has had a plethora of outstanding on screen roles but 2016 was really his year when he took on the role of Lucifer in the hit FOX TV show. The range he has shown is just incredible. He captures perfectly the sexiness and sarcasm that you would expect from such a character, but then, out of nowhere, you get these deeply emotional moments that just make your heart break for him. I am constantly amazed at the breadth of reactions he can elicit with just a look and there seem to be more and more examples each and every episode! For me there is no question, he definitely deserves actor of the year!
