Vatican Kiseki Chousakan
I did not expect to cry in the last episode.
Vatican Kiseki Chousakan is a surprisingly deep anime. The relationship between Roberto and Hiraga is something fate has set in stone. Their companionship has a special meaning to it. A friendship that is laced with trust, comfort and support. It just warms my heart seeing this portrayed in this anime.
And the last episode basically made their friendship that much special and dare I say holy. Not that they themselves are holy, I mean they are priests yes, but their connection that is fated to be, is in itself a holy miracle.
I cried, hard at that. Plus how Ryota and Joseph story is connected to each other is a nice twist. That’s some good story plot twist there. But one thing does confuse me: who/what is Ryota exactly? Who were the figures that he saw?
A mystery I was not able to solve.
All in all, even if their job is to rebuke miracles (which ultimately are a bunch of gruesome conspiracies laced with lies and deceit), the fact that a miracle does happen to them personally puts a nice sense of awe in me.
Also beautiful animation, yes.
I give it 8/10.
