I feel like I just up and left y'all 😞 and I'm SOO sorry for that! Life has been crazy lately. Part two of the Sanji fic is a wip too don't worry! And maybe I'll sprinkle a few more headcanons in if you guys really want me to 🫶 Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know I am SO BACK :p
Modern AU where Ace and Sabo take care of baby brother Luffy.
Ace doesn't have his tattoo here yet. Sabo still lost his memories when they were kids, but didn't disappear and Ace helped him with his recovery.
Ace got his tattoo while drunk, decided to use the "name" baby Luffy kept calling him but was stopped (by Deuce) because why would you do that to yourself. The S was already done by the time he was stopped. So that's how he got his tattoo in this AU.

Author's Note: Hiya everyone! Hopefully we love my first little fanfic 🥺 I got inspiration from our lovely @jjuleslovely's post so go show them some love! By the way, this is only part one. Basically Sanji has lived as your roommate for almost three months now after being friends and didn't know about your silly kitty until now. Enjoy my lovelies 🪼⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
꧁..⋆∴≛⊰☤⊱≛∴⋆..꧂
Mumu was a hassle. A big hassle.
Was it difficult to keep her hidden? Yes. EXTRA yes, in fact. It's not that you didn't want Sanji to know about the multi-colored feline currently residing in the confines of your room, but… well, Mumu hated people. Scratching, biting, kicking and hissing… she had a whole damn tantrum without fail. Every. Time. You had totally forgotten to warn Sanji before he agreed to move in, and it was obvious you couldn't just randomly say ‘oh yeah, I have a little demon inside a cat's body in my room!’ out of the blue…
He must have heard the random noises of a particularly hyped-up furball on crack that ensued during the night when she was unsupervised though, right? Surely he had seen the tiny cat toys that seemed to somehow escape the room even when Mumu did not? Sanji was nothing if not observant, and you knew that well. You've been living with him for three months and have been friends for years.
Maybe he pretended not to notice. Maybe he just didn't care…
But the fact is, Sanji knew. He didn't have the heart to tell you; he couldn't possibly tell you how he played with that adorable little diluted calico that lived behind your door every day after you went to work. He couldn't tell you how he'd been sneaking her scraps when you weren't looking, or that he was laying on your floor and letting Mumu lay on his stomach while you were away. It was clear you probably didn't want him to discover her, and he was nothing if a gentleman when it came to boundaries.
And that's exactly what you caught him doing one night when you got home an hour earlier than usual. As soon as Sanji heard keys jingle in the door, he bolted out of your room so fast that he forgot to close the door. He noticed too late—he had been too frantic in his haste to act casual, and of course… Mumu comes strolling out like she owned the place. Right as you walk in.
You nearly jump out of your skin when you feel the fluffy body of your fur baby rubbing up against your ankles and weaving between your legs—and you immediately snap your gaze up to where Sanji was trying (and failing) to act casual. His hair was mussed from him running his fingers through it out of nervous habit, his cheeks flushed slightly as he saw your eyes narrow. Yeah, he'd definitely been caught.
“Sanji. What is the meaning of this?” Your voice was demanding, and as soon as you dropped the groceries onto the counter that you had been juggling, you fixed him with a stern stare and crossed your arms. Sanji was going to have to have a really good reason if you were gonna believe him. He was already floundering for an answer.
“D-darling! It's nothing, I swea…” Sanji trailed off and swallowed nervously when you stared at him harder. Your eyes were practically burning holes in his head! How was he supposed to calm you down now?
He tried again after a second, clearing his throat and turning his head to break eye contact as his Adam's apple bobbed under the weight of your steely gaze. Sanji could only manage to look at you sidelong out of the corner of his eye that wasn't covered by silky blonde hair. “[N-name]... I didn't think… that it was a bad thing... She seemed so lonely.
As if on cue, Mumu leapt up from the floor and put her paws on Sanji's chest, kneading aggressively and starting to purr like a rumbling engine. Sanji looked at you pleadingly while his hand came up to pet Mumu, not daring to take his eyes off of your face. He wanted to know you wouldn't be upset with him, that you'd forgive him for his unintentional stupidity… hell, you could punch him if you wanted to. You just scoffed and pinched the bridge of your nose, closing your eyes and groaning in annoyance. But the corners of your lips curled up the faintest bit.
“Ugh. Fine. I was just— fuckin’ worried you'd freak out if you found out now. Seems that's not the case.” You gesture at how Mumu was now settled on his shoulders like a neck pillow. She never did that with you! Rude…
Sanji seemed to sag with the force of relief that ran through him. He sighed heavily—melting into the couch and finally coming up to rub a thumb over Mumu's fuzzy cheek with the other hand, which she promptly pushed against and demanded more of. His other hand had dropped and he was still looking at you with a question in his eyes. Come sit down with me. It was as clear as if someone had printed the words out in big letters on his forehead.

Summary~ Your pet kitty hates almost everyone who isn't you, you're a little worried about how she'll react to your new date.
Crossposted on AO3!
Your sweet princess is a VERY picky lady. A sassy little calico who hates almost everyone who isn't you, and ESPECIALLY dislikes men.
It's your favorite test for any date you bring home, really. Anyone Maple doesn't like is an immediate dump from you. It would seem nonsensical on the surface, but after having her by your side for over a decade, this fluffy kitty who's kept your spirits up during your lowest points, you trust her judgment more than anyone. Hell, you would let her represent you in court.
That being said, you've been feeling a little down lately. Maple has hissed, yowled, and scratched at every date you've brought home so far. And while you would never give your best friend of years up for a man you've only known for a few dates, you were beginning to wonder if you'll even get to know a man for longer than that at all.
And now? You were feeling torn, because for once you've actually fallen in love. And you wouldn't know what to do if your sweet kitty didn't like him. You have been praying that this time, this was the one. For you and for Maple.
The man in question?
You stand frozen at the register. Pretending to examine the menu of the café you frequent to avoid looking at the new employee behind the counter. A handsome man around your age, blonde, faint goatee, and a swirly eyebrow. It was nerve-wracking when you made eye contact for the first time. Sanji was his name. You caught it on the name tag before moving your gaze to literally anywhere else. He had given you a soft smile, and you thought your heart had stopped for a moment. Love at first sight isn't a thing, you believed that firmly, but with the way your cheeks warmed when you heard his smooth voice, you were starting to reconsider.
It was almost uncomfortable, this sudden attraction from absolutely nowhere. The second you were done with your order, you bee-lined it to a booth and started doodling nonsensically to distract yourself. Drawing was almost therapeutic to you. You weren't particularly good at it, but you didn't have to be. The little doodles of cats that somewhat resembled Maple and flowers were enough for you. It's like getting lost in a pattern, driving away your fluster until fate decided it had other plans for you.
"Your order, miss."
You nearly jumped in your seat, startled by the same blonde from earlier as he sets your drink and pastry down in front of you, "Please let me know if you need anything else."
You can hear the smile in his voice, refusing to meet his gaze from your fluster, "Yes- thank you." you quickly get out, keeping your head lowered. He chuckles quietly as he left, and fuckkkkkkkkk you're doomed. It's just a crush, you tell yourself, it'll go away. It's just like, what? The first time someone's made your heart pound this loud in your chest, right? Plenty of fish in the sea.
You still weren't over the fact he delivered your order to you personally at your seat though.
This went on for a couple of weeks, he would ALWAYS make sure to take your order, sharing small talk on the side whenever possible. You learned that he grew up around the area, and had just moved back recently after graduating from culinary school. Work was slow, but he managed to find a job at the café you were both chatting in now. He was also a bit of a flirt, some days you stayed in the café longer to work on your laptop, and you would catch him complimenting another lady here and there, but he always laid it harder on you. Or maybe you were being delusional because while you have gotten more used to his presence, your heart still skipped a beat whenever you saw him.
"The usual for my favorite regular." Sanji teases, setting down your drink, while you roll your eyes.
"Are you sure I'm your favorite? You've been quite popular ever since you got here." it was true, you weren't the only enamored by him. He made the perfect drinks, and you think the pastries have gotten more delicious since he started working here.
"Lip service from someone like you would secure customers instantly." you take a sip from your drink.
"Is that why you keep coming here?" he grins.
You scoff, looking away, "I was already a regular before you came along, pretty boy."
"But you do appreciate it, right?" his tone softens slightly.
You pause, turning a little to find him sliding a folded note to you.
"I- well… I think you are… somewhat charming." you hesitate with your words.
"Only somewhat?" he tilts his head with a small smile, and an unreadable emotion in his eyes.
It's like a scene out of a movie, the way everything seems to weigh in on your mind all at once. You hold your breath, unfolding the note to find a number written inside.
A phone number.
HIS phone number.
OH.
"May I take you out to dinner sometime?" he asks, quieter, almost nervous.
"I- uh-" you were about to combust, "Sure! I mean- YES! Yes, let's go out sometime." you want to be buried six feet underground, you can't be making THIS MUCH of a fool out of yourself. You've asked people out before! What is it about this man that makes you act like an awkward teenager all over again?
You can't be this much of a mess.
Sanji doesn't seem to mind though, in fact, his mood seems to have made a full 180 as he grins widely at you, "It's a date then! Thank you, my dear, I won't let you down." he says, leaning down to take your hand and kiss your knuckles.
So now you've got a date.
You feel giddy when you get back home to your apartment. Maple quickly makes herself known, meowing and trotting over to you.
"Hey honey~!" you coo, scooping the kitty up into your arms. She blinks up at you with her wide green eyes, purring from the attention you were giving her.
"Guess what! He asked me out!" you laugh, spinning around with her in your arms, "I've got a date with Sanji! Can you believe it?" Maple only slow blinks up at you, her purring continuing.
Suddenly, you feel your phone vibrate in your pocket. You set Maple down on the floor to answer. Your smile widens when you see the notification.
Sanji: "What time and day works for you?"
One date became two, and then three, and before you knew it, you've been on countless dates with him. And now you were certain.
Your dumbass was in love. It wasn't infatuation anymore.
But you haven't made it official, not yet, because of the most important test you've been delaying. You haven't brought Sanji back to your place, but it's not like he ever asked or pressured you to either. Like the respectful gentleman he is. Gosh, just thinking about him is making you giddy. You wave the distracting thoughts away. How were you going to do this?
Maple lets out a soft "mrrp?" as she rolls over onto her back, blinking at you curiously as you pace around your room in a circle.
You sigh, taking out your phone to pull up a photo.
"What do you think, Maple? Is he the one?" You ask, showing her a photo you took of him laughing. But of course, Maple doesn't react to the image, swatting at your screen with her paw playfully.
"Yeah, I thought so." you sigh, you can't delay it anymore, if you want to find out, they'll have to meet for real.
"So… this is it!" you say awkwardly as you unlock the door to your apartment, "Thanks for coming over to help me cook, I just remembered I had some stuff in the fridge."
"It's no problem, love, you know I never mind cooking for you." he chuckles, following you towards the kitchen
You had found an opportunity to invite him over when you noticed the expiration date to some items in your fridge were coming to a close. You decided you would invite him over to help out with some cooking, and then introduce him to Maple after dinner. Currently, Maple was locked in your bedroom for the time being. Just in case.
"Now let's see what we have here…" Sanji murmurs to himself while rummaging through your fridge.
You start to take out a couple bowls when you were struck with a sudden urge.
"Feel free to look around, I just need to use the restroom real quick." you excuse yourself, rushing to your bathroom.
A few minutes later, after you dried your hands, you step out from the bathroom and notice your bedroom door wide open. Oh well, ok. It's rude to leave doors open with guests around, you thought as you closed it.
WAIT A SECOND.
You quickly fling your bedroom door wide open, Maple wasn't there.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww shoot.
You race to the main living area, expecting to hear a fuss-
"Aw, look at you… aren't you a pretty kitty?"
You skid to a halt. No way.
You slowly peek around the countertop, and your eyes widen.
You couldn't believe it.
Sanji was there, yes, and so was Maple. But… she wasn't hissing or scratching or biting him. No, she was… letting him pet her?
You stand there bewildered.
Sanji seems to notice your presence and looks up, "Love! You're back! You didn't tell me you have a cat." he chuckles while you stare.
"Ah yeah, I was planning to introduce you two after dinner…" you mumble, watching as Maple weaves between Sanji's legs.
"Something wrong?" Sanji tilts his head.
"No! No, everything's great, actually. I've just never seen her so accepting of a stranger before. She doesn't like many people you see." you chuckle, crouching down to pet her, "Her name is Maple, by the way."
"I see… Maple…" Sanji hums thoughtfully, "It's a beautiful name for a beautiful kitty."
The rest of the night seems to go by in a blur. Really, you were thrilled! He's got your cat's blessing! Now you can make your relationship official, and without any troubles!
Ha ha, you thought.
"I didn't know you had a penchant for animals." You chuckle watching Maple purr, curled up on Sanji's lap. You had finished dinner earlier, and were now just relaxing on the couch watching a random show on the TV.
"I didn't either…" he chuckles, rubbing the top of her head with his thumb, "I usually earn friendship through food."
"You didn't feed her anything when you first saw her?" you ask surprised.
"No. She just came up to me and started rubbing her cheek against my leg." Sanji shrugged.
That's… weird. Maple headbutts Sanji's hand happily. You rest your head against Sanji's shoulder, happy they were at least getting along.
Understatement of the century.
The next time you invited Sanji over, Maple trotted over to him and sat down right in front of him. Preventing him from advancing further unless he pet her.
"Maple." You scold lightly, but Sanji only laughs.
"Hey princess…" he coos, crouching down, giving her those well deserved scritches.
You shake your head watching her shamelessly enjoying the attention, "Charmer for not just the ladies I see."
"Well you could say she counts as a lady." Sanji stands back up, "An adorable little lady at that."
Yes, a very adorable lady. An adorable lady that trails behind your boyfriend everywhere he goes. She even followed him to the bathroom scratching at the door while meowing loudly.
"Honey, what has gotten into you?" you stifle your laughter, scooping the fussy kitty up into your arms, "Just wait a few minutes, he's not going to be gone forever."
But whenever he did leave, Maple's mood was significantly affected. She would get depressed for a few hours, sulking in a corner and not responding to you much at all. It was silly at first, well until it started getting in between you and Sanji.
You were both tired, crashing in your bed after a stressful week of work and not being able to see each other.
You sigh as soon as your face hits the pillow, turning to your side to face Sanji who did the same.
"Hi…" Sanji murmurs at you with a lazy smile, pulling you into his arms.
You respond with a sleepy hum, hiding your face in his neck, "Missed you…" you whine, wrapping around him like a koala.
He chuckles softly, pressing a kiss to your temple, "Missed you too…"
"I didn't get to see you all week…" you lament.
"Well, the say distance makes the heart grow fonder… you're stuck to me like glue."
You huff, "And it'll stay that way the whole night."
"You say that like I mind…" Sanji murmurs, arms tightening around you, "I'm not letting go of you either then."
He smells good, faint nicotine and something minty… and he's warm… Those were the woozy thoughts floating around in your muddled brain as you start to succumb to your exhaustion.
Rain patters against the glass of your window, moonlight peeking slightly through the poorly drawn curtains, the air around you was cold, but the bed was warm with the two of you tangled up in it. You sigh happily, tugging up the covers, you felt at peace in this small cocoon of heaven.
"Mew."
Suddenly, you feel a weighted fluffball land on your head, startling you from your rest.
"Huh-!?"
"Oh hey princess, joining us too? Were you cold?" Sanji chuckles rubbing Maple's cheek, "Don't lay there, that's your mama's head." Sanji untangles himself from you (much to your chagrin), to remove Maple from her spot on your head, and set her down on the empty space of the bed behind you.
You scoff, rubbing at your sore head.
"Are you ok honey?" Sanji stifles his amusement, laying back down and turning his attention to you.
"Yeah… she's not that heavy luckily." You sigh resting back against your pillow, "She usually curls up near my tummy… she doesn't just target my head."
Maple meows in protest, crawling in between you two before you could get back to cuddling again. You huff poking her nose playfully.
"Come on princess, can't I cuddle your mom?" Sanji asks softly, nudging at the kitty gently.
She only purrs in response, getting comfortable in the space between your heads.
"I guess that's her answer." you let out a small snort, "Spoiled girl…" you murmur kissing her little head.
"Can't be helped, I can't refuse a request like that." Sanji agrees laying back down.
You wake up the next morning to an empty bed and the sound of sizzling in the air. Yawning, you stretch your arms in the air before trudging out of bed. The chill in the air makes you shudder.
"Morning sleepyhead," Sanji chuckles watching you stumble out of your room while tying a robe on, "I'm making breakfast, you can just take a seat. Do you want coffee or tea?"
You hum sleepily in response, "Thanks, love… coffee please."
As you blink the sleep away in your eyes, you spot something most peculiar. Maple was perched on Sanji's shoulders. Wait.
"Love…?"
"Hm?" Sanji hums, focused on the eggs frying in the pan.
"Is… Is Maple sitting on your shoulders?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, she insisted on staying there."
Maple's never done that before. You stare for a few minutes in bewilderment as Sanji fed her a small bit of cooked salmon from the pan.
Perhaps your prayers have worked a little too well.
Another time you walked in on Sanji on the couch scrolling on his phone with one hand, while the other mindlessly petted Maple's belly.
Now.
Yes, you said you would let her represent you in court, but in all your years of living with her, she has never ONCE let you pet her belly. You have come out from all attempts with a couple scratches and a reminder. What sorcery was this. An intervention was now in order.
"Sanji. We have to talk." you say solemnly.
"Wait, huh? My love, did I do something wrong? I-"
"No, no, it's not you, well actually yeah, It's kind of you. But also it's about Maple." you point at the cat currently purring in his arms, tail flicking from side to side in contentment.
"Oh."
This was a silly thing to be upset about, but Sanji's YOUR boyfriend, not your cats. Wait.
You couldn't believe it. YOUR cat was stealing YOUR man.
You sigh, putting your hands together, "I think you've spoiled her more than I have."
Maple blinks at you innocently, you faux glare at her.
Sanji snorts, "Ladies, ladies, calm down, I love you both equally."
You roll your eyes, the corners of your lips twitching up slightly, "I just can't help but feel like I'm being third wheeled sometimes." you admit, "Sanji~ I miss you." you move in closer to him.
Suddenly Maple hisses at you.
A pause.
You look at Sanji, and you both look down at your kitty.
You burst into a fit of laughter, "Oh honey. Are you trying to be a homewrecker?" you say taking your very unamused cat from Sanji's arms. Lifting her up to your face you scold her, "You have to learn to share you know, he's my boyfriend, and I'm the reason you got to meet him at all."
Maple sneezes in your face. Sanji is fighting back his own amusement in the corner.
"What a spoiled princess." Sanji says, regaining his composure, joining the both of you.
"She's our spoiled princess." you roll your eyes, all while Maple mewls happily in your arms.
Hii strawberrychan !! ik this is a bit late but congrats on 100+ sanji fics, i genuinely love your writing and characterization
i wanted to request another comfort fic since you always write them so well. what if it’s the reader comforting sanji after his return from WCI, and reassuring him that she’s not mad about anything and doesn’t blame him. Anything else can be left up to you. No pressure ofc! Thank you !!

a/n: hii love!! thank you so much for the congrats, that seriously means a lot to me 💛 and your request… omg I LOVED writing it. Sanji absolutely needed this kind of comfort after WCI he did nothing wrong and it drives me crazy when people act like he did. so getting to write a fic where he’s reassured and actually treated with the kindness he deserves felt perfect. I really hope you enjoy it

The Sunny was quiet, the kind of quiet that only happened in the dead of night when even Luffy had finally fallen asleep. But for Sanji, the silence was loud. It was filled with the echoes of Judge’s voice, the sound of his own leg hitting Luffy’s face, and the cold, metallic memory of those explosive handcuffs.
He was standing at the railing of the ship, the glowing embers of his cigarette the only light in the dark. He wasn't cooking. He wasn't flirting. He was just... there.
You found him like that, looking smaller than usual in his dark suit. You didn't make a sound as you approached, but he sensed you anyway. His shoulders tensed, a physical flinch he tried to hide by taking a long drag of his cigarette.
"It’s late," he said, his voice scratchy and low. "You should be resting."
"I could say the same to you," you replied softly, leaning against the railing next to him. You didn't look at him yet; you gave him the space to breathe. "But the kitchen felt too empty without the light on."
Sanji let out a short, hollow laugh. "I’m sure you all managed fine. I’m just... catching the breeze."
"Sanji." You turned to face him, your expression open and steady. "You’ve been back for days, and you haven't looked me in the eye once. Not really."
He finally turned his head, but his gaze dropped to the wooden deck. "I don't exactly deserve to look anyone in the eye right now. Not after what I did. Not after I turned my back on the crew... on you."
You stepped closer, moving into his personal space until you could smell the familiar scent of tobacco and sea salt.
"Is that what you think?" you asked. "That we’re all just waiting for an apology? Or that we’re secretly holding a grudge?"
"I left," he snapped, though the edge in his voice was directed at himself, not you. "I struck my captain. I told you all to go away. I put my own family’s mess above our dream. I made you worry, and I... I almost didn't come back."
He started to turn away, but you caught his sleeve before he could go. “You did what you thought would keep us alive. You left to protect the family you chose from the one you were born into. You didn’t do anything wrong. None of this was your fault. We know that. Luffy knows that. And I understand it better than anyone.”
"I hurt him," Sanji whispered, his hand trembling slightly as he tapped ash into the ocean. "I hurt all of you."
"Sanji, look at me."
It took a moment, but he eventually lifted his head. His blue eye was clouded with a guilt that ran deeper than any physical wound he’d sustained on Whole Cake Island.
"I am not mad," you said firmly, making sure every word landed. "I am not disappointed. And I don't blame you for a single second of what happened. You were trapped in a nightmare, and you tried to fight it alone to protect us. That doesn't make you a traitor; it makes you someone who cares too much."
You reached up, your fingers hovering near his cheek before you softly brushed a stray hair away from his face.
"We love you because of that kindness, Sanji. Not in spite of it. Don't let your father’s voice be the one you hear in your head. Listen to mine."
Sanji’s breath hitched. For a man who lived to serve others, being the one served with such unconditional grace was overwhelming. He leaned into your touch almost unconsciously, his eyes fluttering shut. The tension that had been locked in his spine since they sighted Cacao Island finally began to snap, piece by piece.
"You really... you don't hate me?" he asked, his voice barely a murmur.
"Never," you promised. "Not for a moment. I’m just happy you’re home. The Sunny wasn't the same without you. I wasn't the same without you."
Sanji dropped his cigarette and crushed it under his shoe, finally turning fully toward you. He didn't say anything at first; he just wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his face in the crook of your neck. He didn't sob, but you felt the heavy, shaky exhales against your skin as he finally let go of the burden he'd been carrying.
You held him back, resting your head against his, letting the sound of the waves remind him that the journey was continuing—and he was still a part of it.
"Thank you," he whispered into the fabric of your shirt. "I don't know what I did to deserve you, but thank you."
"You stayed true to yourself," you said, pulling back just enough to smile at him. "That’s all you ever had to do."

꧁..⋆∴≛⊰☤⊱≛∴⋆..꧂
🎀 Luffy:
Gets jealous very easily. Luffy doesn't really understand why, but he is extremely protective over you when strangers are around you. He'll get right up in your space if they get too comfortable, nuzzling and draping himself over you and loudly declaring his feelings. "THEY'RE MINE SO BACK OFF!"
Really loves little acts of affection! Tiny kisses, hugs, cuddling, play wrestling, anything to let him get closer. He's a fiend for a good snuggle.
Likes to lay on your legs especially. He's literally like a big rubbery lapdog, especially when he just wakes up.
Doesn't spare others' feelings if they flirt with you or do anything to get your attention that way. He's a 'punch now ask questions never' kinda guy when it comes to you.
Very confident in your loyalty. Doesn't question it, and immediately assumes you love him like he loves you: unashamed and doing anything to keep him. If you give him a good reason to question, his world would quietly shatter. He'd blame himself if anything ever happened but would never say a thing about it.
🎀 Zoro:
Subtle in public. Protects in silence, like a firm arm around your waist or shoulders and a glare while acting casual about it. If someone gets too close for comfort? He's steering you away immediately without an explanation, or giving them a look that could melt through metal.
LOVES to lift you. Uses you as a weight sometimes when he works out, and always picks you up if you're particularly clingy. Tries to hide how it pleases him when you cling to him and whine. (It makes him feel needed.)
Likes when you watch him train. He pushes himself harder to impress you, though he'd never admit it. Snaps at Sanji when he teases him about it.
Loves when you play with his hair. Especially when you scratch, and immediately pushes into the touch to demand more like he can't help himself. "Don't need it..." (it's a lie.)
Cuddles in private. Not clinging, never that, but laying his whole weight on you like a comfy weighted blanket. Stays there until he falls asleep, and secretly has the best nap of his life.
🎀 Nami:
Forces you to give her back massages. You're like her personal massage therapist, and late nights lead to foot massages and inclusion in her skincare routine.
Loves to pay for things when you two go out. Refuses to let you pay for things and give you the look when you protest. It makes her feel capable.
Secretly likes to be thrown over your shoulder. She will protest and half-heartedly thump her fists against your back, but she doesn't put up a real struggle.
Clings when scared. Sees a gross bug? She's scrambling to get you to kill it. Needs help in a fight? She trusts you specifically to handle it.
Includes you when Usopp, Robin, and herself have girls nights. And of course, her favorite game to play during the gathering is truth-or-dare. She specifically seeks out to ask you almost every time it's her turn.
🎀 Usopp:
Gives little gifts very often. Trinkets, things that reminded him of you, small gadgets he builds, you name it. He showers you in them and a lot of the time leaves little things by your bed for you to find with a note. "The Great Usopp thought of you today :)"
Very loud about his love for you in public and isn't afraid to brag about you. "Yeah, they're my partner! Aren't they awesome? Of course they are!"
Loves when you do his hair. He lets you learn, and only steps in to catch you before you make a mistake. He gets nervous when he lets you but does it anyways and doesn't complain.
A very big cuddlebug when he's sleepy. Otherwise... he's a little awkward and gets really flustered trying to get close. He plays it off like nothing, but he can rarely do more than lay against your side or sit next to you in bed.
Reminds you of inside jokes when you're trying to lecture him. You two have plenty of them and he loves to bring them up to get out of trouble. If you remember it, he's trying to make you laugh about it.
🎀 Sanji:
Swoons over every little thing when you both are around others. But in private, however... he's gentle and calm. He loves to hold you and stroke your hair while whispering sweet nothings to you.
Cooks like a storm when you watch him. He gets really nervous about being judged, so his cooking is a lot more chaotic and he often rambles out of anxiety. He would never tell you that though.
Loves to read bedtime stories to you. Speaks in that low tone that's just for you and tells you about things in his past. He waits for you to fall asleep before letting himself rest.
When he's sleepy, he speaks French, the words blurring together into mumbling when he gets extra tired. He's more irritable but never takes it out on you.
Gets jealous easily. He hates when Zoro gets close especially (even if he's not doing anything bad), and always snaps at him or mumbles insults under his breath.
🎀 Robin:
Loves to share food with you. If Sanji makes something for her, you are 100% getting some of it too.
Rambles only when you're alone with her. The others think she is quiet and reserved, but she really likes to talk about her interests. She's a history buff and loves to talk about her findings.
Makes tea and reads books from her collection to help you fall asleep. She will wake up immediately if you need something and is okay with being woke up at any time.
Loves when you're part of her morning routine. She makes sure to wake up around the same time to share the bathroom with you. You may not think much of it but she likes being around you a lot.
Remembers everything you tell her about you. She will store it in the back of her mind and recall it for later use.
🎀 Franky:
When in public, his voice is loud and booming. But when he has you alone, his voice softens into something meant for only you to hear. He talks about everything under the sun when he's extra relaxed around you.
Lets you in on his plans and likes to have you test his gadgets. He secretly likes watching you work, and gets a good laugh when something harmlessly silly happens. If they're potentially dangerous, he refuses to even let you come into his workshop and only lets you around when it's completely finished.
He can listen to your voice all day. He really likes watching the gestures you make while speaking, and loves it when you ramble so he can listen to you speak.
Parades you around on his shoulder sometimes when you look extra nice. It's his favorite way to hold you, a firm grip on your thigh and his thumb rubbing gentle circles into it as he proudly displays his love.
Matches things with you often. It makes him feel like he has something that tethers you to him, and he loves to see all the cute little things you come up with.
🎀 Brook:
Serenades you when he's feeling super romantic. Also sings you lullabies when you are sleeping in his bed.
Laughs a little louder at your jokes or when you're trying to be funny. He wants you to know that he appreciates your humor.
Questions you gently when you're upset, and does anything to make you feel better. He'll often crack jokes or pester you in a soft sort of way until you cave and smile again. He loves your smile.
Not perverted around you, funnily enough. He stops that habit almost completely when he meets you and doesn't go back. That doesn't include the little flirty comments he makes, though.
Likes watching the sunset with you. He appreciates the view and likes to share the beauty with you because he loves you. It reminds him of when he would watch the sun from his old ship with his crew.
🎀 Jinbe:
Every time he lands on an island, he always looks for a flower shop. He loves to get you big bouquets and it's become the first thing he thinks of when he stops.
Immediately drops everything to help you when you're sick. He doesn't care how sick you are or what symptoms you have, he will stay with you the whole time and doesn't leave.
Doesn't understand your mood swings. He tries, he really tries... but he ends up asking a lot of questions to try and process it. He really likes to understand what makes you feel this way.
He thinks about you often. He thinks often about how you'd react if you were with him, and loves to share nice things with you when he thinks of them.
Learns things to make you happy. He learns lots about your special interests and tries to impress you with his knowledge in a subtle way. He will even learn a new skill if you want something that requires it.
Hiya everyone! This is my first official post, not including my intro! The pitter-patter of rain on the wooden slabs of the deck was a soothing lullaby against the backdrop of the sea's hush—the boards were slick with rainwater, coating the ship in a faint shimmer of the liquid.
Inside, however, it wasn't quiet at all. The loud, raucous laughter of the crew drifted out of the galley, clashing with the clinking of silverware and the occasional shout when Luffy would try to steal food from another.
"Nami-swaaan! Robin-chwaan!~ Only the finest deserts for you lovely ladies~" Sanji's lovesick croon cut through the girls' chatter like a knife. They were about to turn to address him, but a certain green-haired swordsman was already grunting at his antics, downing his sake in one strong pull before setting it down with an irritated thump. "Oi, cook! Do something useful like getting me another bottle of sake."
Sanji's brow twitched. "Get the damn sake yourself! You can clearly see I'm busy, you overgrown brute." His voice had dropped to an agitated snap as soon as he addressed Zoro, and he immediately turned away with a dramatic huff.
Meanwhile, the other boys were having a blast. Franky and Usopp swapping secrets about their latest projects, Luffy dangling off of the back of his chair and attempting to steal food off of Brook's plate, much to his dismay. Chopper was trying to reason with Luffy in that semi-serious tone he usually reserved for doctorly duties, but he couldn't stifle his laughter each time he succeeded in snatching something from the table. All in all, the normalcy of the crew's dynamic was perfect to pass the time in this dreary weather. It was perfect... in their own way.
