Veggietales doesn’t get the love it should, tbh. in the early days, it was five people making them out of phil vischer’s garage in Peoria, Illinois. No one had succeeded with 3D animation yet (Toy story was two years away), but Veggietales did it. Pixar even called them and asked how they did the cheek puffing animation in the early days. PIXAR CALLED THEM.

My former landlord was trying to scam us out of our deposit by saying that we didn’t clean and that the place smelled like dogs and urine. The audacity to say that about me, a notorious clean freak who can’t stand the smell of animals while they were also in violation of Idaho state law and by default owed us our entire deposit back.

We played the uno reverse and gave them a number that if they refunded us that then we wouldn’t take them to small claims court and that we think their cleaners may be trying to scam them by claiming more work needed to be done than was necessary. (I don’t think it’s the cleaners but we gave them a way to stay on civil terms)

They agreed that it would be better to settle out of court.
