nah . because i’ve been watching this show since i was 8 . that’s 13 years this year . that’s the entire show from start to finish . and the writing has gotten worse as time went on . they’re killing off important characters , and i don’t just mean castiel and crowley . i mean kevin and charlie and fucking eileen who was so important for representation . my hearing impaired friends were so excited that she was on the show , and guess what ? gone . i’m sick of it , 13 years is enough shitty writing for me . i’ve stuck with the show for a long time , and i need a break . i’m entitled to that break . and i will take that break as long as i want . that’s not being dramatic , that’s keeping myself calm and practicing a little bit of self care .

“He was killed,” That’s all Samantha really needed to know. Because if someone was after her, too, that’s the only information that should be important to her. Sam was a bit surprised she hadn’t figured it out yet, but maybe it wasn’t so obvious when you hadn’t been putting your time into the subject. “They get visions from God, of the future and his plans for other people,” Sam explained, remembering Chuck. “And they’re the ones who can translate ancient Enochian and things like that. You’re kind of really valuable, Samantha. And I don’t want anything to happen to you. Especially if I knew I could help.”

Dean winced as Sam rushed to him with the first aid kit. He clutched to the stab wound and looked down. It didn’t look good, but he WASN’T about to quit that easily. ❝It’s just a scratch Sammy. Just need a patch up and some whiskey and I’ll be…Gah…Fine.❞

Just a scratch. Right. The blood running out from under Dean’s hand and through the arm of his shirt told Sam otherwise, and the younger shook his head before taking out the needle and thread. “Let me,” he started, sanitizing his hands with rubbing alcohol before handing a bottle of whiskey to his brother. “And you take this.”

the familiar peeks her head around the wall, mouth hung slightly open at the taller figure. “You’re not?” she sounded surprised, most hunters hunted her because magical properties or they thought she was still tied to a witch.

“Uh, not anymore,” Sam clarified, slowly putting his gun back into his belt and flashing his hands at her to show her he meant no harm. “We thought you were the one hurting people, but we were wrong. But obviously you know that.”

“But it would kill you if I hexed you. Shall we have a race darlin’?” Accent thickening as she taunted him, her expression practically SCREAMED her confidence in her own abilities. Tapping her manicured fingernails just in the peripherals of his vision was aimed to further annoy him. “Although I suppose you must be desperate for some sort of fun, cooped up in this nasty old place with your oaf of a brother would wear q u i c k l y.”

Sam’s eyes dulled as ears twitched at the tapping. There was a reason he didn’t get involved with monsters - witches included - no matter what the situation was. Maybe they needed her and her power, but Sam was tired of her already, and if he had a gun anywhere close to him right now, he couldn’t hesitate to put a hole in her forehead.

“Did anyone ever tell you that your voice is like nails on a chalkboard?” Sam questioned, still not giving her a glance, though he was now distracted with his book, reading the same line over and over.

“Dean”, he said, letting out a sigh and shifting the phone so he could look over the reports once more. Sure enough, there were no hints of any suspects. The police kept getting in the way, messing up crime scenes and making it difficult for Castiel to pick up any scents. “I’m heading back to the motel. You might see something I haven’t.”

It was hard not to get frustrated when everything Dean was trying was leading them no where. He felt like he was letting everyone down, including himself, and he just couldn’t have that. Head tilted back in defeat, eyes closing for a moment as he took in a heavy breath.

“Yeah, come on back, I’ll take a look,” though he doubted he would see anything Cas didn’t. “See you when you get here.” Dean hung up, throwing his phone on the motel bed before brushing his hands across his face in irritation. Couldn’t something go right for them? Just once?

Sam sighed, shrugging his shoulders as he sat back and took a drink of his coffee he had almost forgotten about that had gone cold by now. ❝Back to square one. Good old fashioned research the way we used to I guess.❞ He gave a stink face to his cup of cold coffee. He hadn’t slept in two days. He was gonna need more coffee. ❝Guess I’ll get a refill and let you know if I find anything.❞

Back to square one. That was a phrase he wished he didn’t hear nearly as much as he did. “Awesome,” It wasn’t Sam’s fault, and he wouldn’t blame him for coming up with no leads. Some monsters just weren’t easy to gank. Dean had known that from the beginning. But it didn’t make the statement any less frustrating. A palm was brought over his face, the bags under his eyes apparent as he stood, grabbing Sam’s cup. “I’ll get it. Find some books or articles ‘er somethin’, and I’ll help out when I get back.”

Dean pursed his lips, head tilting a bit to the side. He isn’t sure whether to be insulted at the man’s words, or flattered that Maka talked highly of him. “And you must be Tony. She doesn’t talk about you much, but she informed me of that, at least.”
